This College is classified in the category of Educational institution.
If you’re looking for a PN program, this is the best place to be!!! All of the nursing instructors are extremely professional and knowledgeable about the content they teach, lab/clinical hours and curriculum are all very well-arranged. Administration also has the best team to help you out, personally I love their nursing program, recommend 10/10!!!
All instructors and staff were awesome here!!! Admission officer were very accomodating and helpful especially Ritu Biswas☺️
I'm very good in this College. The BBQ was very good. Teachers are very nice to us.
The style of teaching os amazing. Good staff.
I am planning to attend this college, Nobody has shared the Cybersecurity course reviews here. has anyone done this course from here ? also can we get cross credit to pathway universities if we study here
There is too much fun and plz we need more fun time like this !
Amazing College! Their all very helpful to assist each student to succeed in the course of ECE. It was great having Christine as my instructor teacher and wonderful office staff. Adriana helped us with our resume, job search and many more. I would recommend this College to everyone because of them I got hired at all of my practicum. Thank you VaCC College :)
good college ,professional teacher, and environment for learning RMT
LPN - Had my reservations at first, but as the course progressed I was extremely satisfied with the course load and delivery. Great mixture of lab class for practical learning (reduced due to COVID-19) as well as theory. They also emphasize safety of students and staff as well.
Couldn't recommend less. I was asked to pay twice for my massage and can't get any information about my refund and its process which has been two weeks at this point. Still nothing. Avoid going here unless you like to be double charged for your service. **UPDATE** it’s been a month since being double charged, and i continuously am ignored by email. For the times they have replied, I’m told they can not find my card for my transaction. Apparently money disappears into thin air at this place
The teachers are great
unprofessional environment, they don't care about your education after they get your $$$ sink or swim... no concern for the students wellbeing or education, would not recommend.
-Teachers and stuff are great! -Quick and effective communication -A very friendly environment -Fees are higher that other schools Some basic things like proper internet connection, proper use of technology wether is an online classroom platform or the school website itself are total disappointment. - funny things happen when for an online presentation one of student need to hold a laptop in the air for the teacher to present sth on zoom. -There are many things that have room for improvement to reach a minimum standard but I have a feeling that being part of big organization make things difficult and dramatically slow. - the school does not offer any medical coverage but I am not sure if other schools do I like the school because people and I want it to improve.
Good college for learn RMT and other programs.Teachers are very nice.
great school
Great school with unbelievably strong teachers. I would recommend this college to anyone looking to get good training at a great price. Highly recommend
Jennifer has been extremely helpful in answering any and all questions I have had. When I had questions about the course and this school, she gave me all the answers I needed and put me at ease. I will definitely recommend this school because of her! Thanks again Jennifer!!!
Just passed my RMT board exam. I really appreciate what the instructors have done to us. THEY ARE AMAZING!
I did the electrical foundation program at this location and it was great! Our instructor Miki was super nice and understanding. He taught us a lot about the real world and I definitely feel very confident as a first year graduate. I recommend this campus to all my friends.
It is the best place for the combined education and the friendly teaching team of experts supported by a great administration team. They have a good varaieties of curriculums and flexible time table.
Don't go to this college, THEY ARE STEALING YOUR MONEY...
Just finishing my ECE course at Vancouver Career College-Burnaby it was a great experience awesome staff and instructor, thanks to Ms. Mia she is a great teacher very helpful to her student.
During my studies in the ECE program, I felt that I could ask anything. Adriana was also helpful during our job search class and offered me Employment Assistance anytime. Love you :)
Almost finished the rmt program. I can say I throughly enjoyed myself and am actually quite sad it's coming to an end! The instructors are really amazing, caring and compassionate. I've referred a number of my friends here already and will continue to do so as I feel quite confident with the education I've recieved.
super fun!!
If your looking for a profession that can impact the world take this course ECE-basic with Miss Mia, an ECE basic professor she has everything to teach and equip you for one of the best ECE Educator not only in words but in action as what it says “do what you preach”. Also its a tool for excellence for you to level up by taking Post basic I/T and SN course. I am so blessed to have Miss Mia as my ECE professor because it is just easy for me in my Post basic diploma I/T & SN. Thank you Miss Mia & VaCC. God bless.
Great instituition to become RMT. Instructors are nice and your classmates will be nice too
I am a student in the school in an RMT program. The student service/education manager Cecile Pama was incredibly helpful during some of the process of getting me the proper documents and paperwork. All other staff and instructors have been amazing too. I really enjoyed the program. If massage therapy is for you, go for it !
i am in process of taking computer course at this college and i am so scared that i am going to burn my money based on how many bad reviews i have seen so far ,,,and what made me so confused is how i went to do registration and when i asked the password for Wifi cause i didn't have data and the lady told me that their Wifi will not do anything as it was too slow ,,,how does a college which has computer department has such slow Internet it was taking me for ever to open chrome browser
Worst college ever. Always slow to response. While studying, their system was always having problems and teachers changed all the time. So glad I finally finished my study and don’t need to get in touch with them anymore. Never recommend to attend this college. Updated March15, 2021: Today I received a msg from school and asked me to pick up my tax documents by myself. However, we already talked about it and school promised me will mail it to me. So I called back to school, waited forever to get pick up. When I talked with “Mark” Idk what is his position is. He was extremely terrible attitude and when I was still talking, he put me on hold again. I would appreciate the school can really be more efficient and have a better attitude then being like this and just provide a public email to ease things then really dealing with things!
It is a complete waste of money! They aren’t organized, they charge more than we are supposed to pay, the schedule changes all the time! Instructors are rude and not helpful! I regret every day of training for this college! Do not recommend!
great environment and staff at the burnaby campus
This place is my first college in Vancouver, and so far it is helping me a lot with handsome amount of info and actual working experiences.
Added note > I have now finally been helped by Carlos at Burnaby Campus and appreciate his empathy and understanding in my situation. So although this experience has been frustrating they are now.trying to rectify the situation below ... So far I'm having a terrible experience through this college and their administrators! I was looking into taking an educational assistance program as I have experience with children( especially those who have special needs) and always wanted to help others. At first the administration was great and they told me I could start right away in February and we would have my loan processed by that time. Even I knew 2 weeks would be a miracle since I'm applying through OSAP and pushed the date to a month away to give me and them plenty of time...or so I thought. I knew that I didnt have much time so I spent the next week on my days off gather and putting together all the information and forms I needed on my side with the administration office downtown. Everything that I needed to do was complete so they told me to hang tight and in a "few days" the Burnaby campus would send over their form saying that I'm a student of the school. This took 3 weeks for them to complete and they weren't sent anything I had to send it myself and is still processing...During this time I asked my administrators about the MSFAA form that I needed to sign and they said no dont sign it hold off because it means for sure you are accepting the loan( which I agreed why would I sign for money when I have no idea yet how much I can receive). Fast forward to now I am being told by burnaby campus this should have been done and that I was told wrong and it could delay the whole process. Also I've literally asked both campus administrators that have been helping me about my schedule about 3 times each now and wasnt made aware that I have orientation on the 10th by anyone but the teacher for the course orientation that day itself. I also was told "I dont deal with that" by the administration at burnaby who's.been helping me with fiance. The teacher has yet to respond the original administration that helped me has yet to respond and I sent a message 5 days ago amd the 2 people I emailed one alyxs and another mark have yet to respond with my schedule even though I start on the 15th ( 6 days) So absolutely nothing has been sorted I would have been faster on my own and I'm starting to doubt I want to go to a school that has so much difficulty providing a mature student who works a class schedule so.that she can respectfully forward it to her manager. How does the school not know what classes they are teaching and when and why is it so difficult to get and answer on this ... So my loans delayed and I have no schedule and wasnt made aware of orientation how can I even say I'm a student here lol.... Must be easy to not care about a career because it isnt your own!
As a student who has studied there, I advise all those who choose this college change their minds. They are unprofessional, Irresponsible, liar and unknowable. They are just trying to get your money. please please don't go there .
Great school, all the instructor and admins are always willing to help me through anything I ask for.
I am currently enrolled in the RMT program and am loving it so far. Great teachers and great class mates. Looking forward to growing my knowledge in this field.
Staffs are all approachable and considerate.
Great instructors. Flexible small class and hands-on learning experience. Good services including job searching, financial support
Nice
I was very happy with the program and instructors especially Vili and Gurvir. Hired by practicum host and now happily working up my hrs.. highly recommend to others..
This college is the worst. They are unprofessional ,they just want your money, they only care about Money. After you paied tuition they don't care about you!!All instructors are rude, unprofessional and mean, they don't know how they respect students .When you have a problem they bounce your problem between themselves. They try make fun of students. Please don't go to this college. It is just waste your Money and your time, there are better colleges available in British Columbia. The reason I am leaving this review to let other students know that they deserve much better than this college. In my opinion this college doesn't meet the standards for being a professional place to study.
Vancouver carrer college not a good school .they want money from the student money !money !money! This Vancouver carrer college in burnaby it looks like they’re money making. When the student drop no support from the director and also the instructor no support from them they don’t incourage you to pursue your course. instructor for PN not a good instructor his name Oscar. Oscar, I think this is not his passion to be instructor of that school no patience to teach the student his rude and boastful. Student are paying him and student paying also the school but the director also of that school is not helpful at all and his not helping you. Believe me guys. It your planning to go to school and get a program please find another school not this school. The director is unprofessional and also the instructor. Guys believe me! This school is not good
As I have mentioned in my valedictory speech:Vancouver Career College-Burnaby is an institution that focuses on hands-on education, practical curriculum required for the programs, right tools and technological aspects, experienced and responsible instructors and approachable , supportive and result oriented administrative and staff members.
good staff, good place, I recommend!
i love this school. the teachers are are about us learning and there teaching style is great. They care about the students. They always greet you with a smile.
It's a fun place to be!
I appreciate all their effort in helping us specially to the campus director, Mr. Carlo Tala, he is very friendly and approachable. My two favourite staff, Linda and Mark who’s very helpful and approachable as well. To the best teachers Mrs. Marylin Perlas and Ms. Jane, thank you for all the strategies that we’ve learned from you. ❤️????
Took first two years electrical at Vancouver Career College Burnaby. Teacher was extremely helpful. He was always there before and after class to answer any questions I was confused about, and give life advice about the industry. His lectures were engaging and pretty easy to follow. Office staff was very friendly and would always help if I needed a quiet place to study. Very happy with the education and experience I got at Vancouver Career College Burnaby.
I really like this campus. The front desk staff is very helpful. The instructors are very professional as well
Currently doing my LPN program and loving every class! The instructors are always so helpful and available to help. The admins go out of their way to help students. Always organized and efficient! They do their best to get you where you need to go! Never regretted a moment with these guys! The nursing coordinator Emily is one of the most understanding and helpful people you'll find here. And I like how the staffs always have a smile on their face everytime you see them!
I started RMT program at the Vancouver Career college starting from scratch. With the positive aura from the facilities and upbeating colleges and community, I was encouraged and guided to the new professional career path that I have never dreamed of! After graduated, having been visiting many massage clinics and spa, I finally understood the school clinic at the Burnaby Vancouver Career college was fairly good size and well-equipped for both thrapiats and patients, especially with the additional hydrotherapy!
I was recently enrolled in this college, the professors are verbally abusive to the students to the point of making students cry. They do not provide encouraging support to do well in their programs. Would not recommend going here, they promise 100% passing rate but that is not true as they keep your money if you fail and don’t let you transfer with the money you’ve already paid
My experience has been good with Vancouver Courier College so far. My Instructors Mr.Abdollah Safar is very knowledgeable, helpful and knows the electrical industries long enough to teach you what you need, to be an electrician. If you are looking for electrical apprenticeship training, I recommend you electrical foundations program in VCC.
The BBQ was really cute and it really brought the students closer. Especially since we spend so much time with the same people it's nice to get to know them better :)
Excellent programs and instructors. Small class sizes with practical experience.
I'm currently in the electrical program level 1, this school is an amazing school, instructors bend over backwards to get you to succeed. Also it is a very friendly enviorment. Overall I would recommend this school/course to friends and family.
It is a great college, I attended the Early Child Education there. I love the small size classes and very good instructors. All of my instructors (Nerrisa, Susan and Rubina) are great educators with a lot of patient and knowledge about the programs. I truly enjoyed my time there and I have thank all of my instructors. Thank you all!
First class college...Great instructors who are determined to make sure every student succeed... Great front desk staff as well... Happy student...
I got enrolled in a program at this college and Jennifer Vailappilly guided me through the entire admission process. She is very nice and professional. She went out of the way to help me to get enrolled in this course. I really recommend taking her help and guidance if you are planning to do a course at this college. Thank you Jennifer for your help. I really appreciate your effort.????
I will never recommend this school based on my experience. Give yourself what you really deserve. You better enrol at Vancouver Community College, Langara, BCIT, or Douglas. Why? Because public post-secondary schools have better quality and standard. Yes, it is true that you can easily get admitted to this Career College school however their admission standard is really low because this is a private school and they want more and more students to enter. I had a classmate who got admitted without a certain english level proficiency so she had difficulties understanding what is being taught. I was not surprised because their admission tests are really useless. Second, going to a public school like what I mentioned above is a way way cheaper but gives a high calibered instruction. This really ensures that they are very objective and won't give you a passing grade that you do not really deserve. Again, I had classmates who were given passing grades even though they don't deserve moving forward just to maintain their students. This is not a semestral program where you can only register for the course that you want to register so if you changed your mind and decided not to finish the program, they won't give you a refund. Last but not the least, the program coordinator Cheryl Danyliw and the recruiter Ritu Biswas were both unhelpful after you get admitted.
Staff are very friendly, courses schedules are module-based, which allows students to be able to focus on one course at a time.
it 's awesome place to prepare future there are great instructors and cordinator they really help me to get over the course Especiallly I would say thank you to Sarah who is sutudent cordiantor and pelease help me more to get it done well and pass the board exam!!!
I recommend taking ECE at Burnaby campus teacher is awesome :)
I had an exceptional customer service experience with Vancouver Career College. Don Han, a staff member of VCC, has been prompt, thorough and thoughtful in answering my questions regarding the program and registration. We contacted via phone calls and emails. For almost a month, he kindly has followed up with every detail of registration documents, and of fulfilling the requirements of the program. The way he communicated was always clear, professional and informative. With Don's guidance, I was able to act as a representative and register two of my family members in the program at VCC. They even offered the scholarship for international students (I reckon it is still on-going). I highly recommend anyone who is interested in VCC programs to request more information by filling out the online form. That is how I was contacted by Don. Also, VCC, please recognize Don's effort & professionalism. His kindness and helpfulness definitely did something in our decision-making process of choosing a school.
Dont go to this college or any of the related colleges. CDI and VACC. My wife has been attending these courses for massage for 3 years alternating through both. In her time she has seen students failed for no reason, and even claims forged against innocent students to have them removed from the program. The management is corrupt and they will fail you for no just reason, only to milk more and more money out of you. Please avoid these institutions if you can !
My friend told me that there is a current student who is confirmed positive when she did Covid test couple days ago.. I think the student should report herself to school and government that she has infected. I think some people who tested by themselves with the self Covid test kit don’t report themselves ! The school and government should test the students everyday to ensure the safety of everyone ..
Going to Vancouver Career College for the past 8 months has given me the tools that I will be able to use for my entire life. All of the faculty teachers. have gone above and beyond in forming a strong support system for all students. Its a great experience!
Excellent educational institution. I had an amazing time.
I am currently in the Early Childhood Post Basic program and also did my Basic Early Childhood Education program at Vancouver Career College. Vancouver Career College is an amazing college because of how accessible it is and how available the intructors are when help is needed. There is always someone to get ahold of for any problems you might have.
I am currently a student here taking the electrician foundations program, and everyone is very welcoming from teachers to admins. I have had all 3 instructors teach me, and they all are extremely helpful. Teachers and admin are very accessible and welcoming whenever you have a problem or when you need help with school work. Overall I would recommend this place to other people.
I just get my RMT licence. I am so lucky that I study at VCC. The instructors and office staffs help me all the way. We are like a big family. Without them I can not finish the program. Now I have a job right away and a wonderful future. I recommend the College is the right choice to change your life.
Coming back to school was a huge challenge and an obstacle that I knew I had to overcome in on order to attain a job as an Education Assistant. The Administration along with the Instructors made my decision to enrol at this institution the greatest obstacle I had the chance to overcome made possible without regret. The effective method of delivery to diverse learners on various cognitive levels of learning and backgrounds speaks to the philosophy and commitment of the Instructors. They create a positive learning environment where all learners are respected and their engagement is welcomed. The Philosophy and Vision that this school adheres makes everyone accountable to uphold to the highest level of professional conduct. This school proudly delivers and is accountable to the commitment they deliver to their students, School Boards, and Stakeholders and Management. The instructors create a positive, welcoming environment for all levels of learners. They promote engagement of all students. The Curriculum along with the practicum makes the student's job ready, and ready to succeed as an Education Assistant.
If your looking for an RMT program do not choose this facility. They robbed me of $30,000 and forged my test results to make it look like I failed when I aced the program. Sarah is the head of this branch and cannot be trusted. The instructors are God awefull and unprofessional. If they are in a good mood you have a higher chance of passing. Bad mood... well everyone fails. I'm strongly considering a class action lawsuit on these guys because I know that I'm not the first student to be failed for no reason. Please anyone willing to band together and get our money back please get in touch with me.
Terrible School, all they do is lie to you. I did the electrical program. We've had three teachers in the course of four months. we finished a month early because they messed up on the contract. We didn't even learn anything. They also lied on the transcript everybody got the same mark, they just gave everybody a passing mark.THEY ARE FRAUDS! if you do fail they don't actually let it count as a fail. They just keep you in the program until you finally do pass so, their pass rate stays looking good. The school's a joke if you want to waste your money go ahead.
Great teachers, Very good courses for ECE career. Cheryl is the Best! Every one is super helpful.
