Waste of money on residence and meal plan, everything advertised on the website is closed. Paid for a full semester of learning, didn't tell us we were learning online until our payments were confirmed, and when I asked numerous staff about why we were learning online when other schools are going back to in-person, they lied or wouldn't be direct with their answers. Every other institution I know has been able to fill lecture halls with hundreds of students in a socially distanced manner, I don't understand why SLC can't even attempt to do the same. Paying thousands for a meal plan in a food court that has almost every station closed, better off paying money on fast food. For some reason they only allow people to get in the school from one entrance, so everyone on res has to walk across the entire school just to get in. I don't know how many days I've walked over to find that the cafeteria has already closed, or one time they even said they just ran out of food completely at like 4PM. Spent so much extra money out of my own pocket from uber-eats and other food places just because the caf has been closed so many times. They have a great new facility but the services are just so confusing and irritating as a first year. I wouldn't have gone to residence and pay their fees if I knew this would be what we get. UPDATE: I am dropping out of this institution due to the misleading advertising, poor faculty members, and lack of a feeling of community. Moved into residence with high spirits and I am now leaving with mild depression.
Most staff are wonderful, but a minority of staff who are very vocal and upfront for their disdain for their job, is overwhelmingly obvious, its all about money money money, educating our youth is secondary.
Great community college with lots of resources available, great professors, renovated and new facilities available.
An amazing school with great courses
Just as good as Queen's, but cheaper.
The Shac opens at 6:30 (I believe) and yet the doors are locked and the school opens at 8?
Anyone from tourism course for sep 22 Insta: official._navi
The worst institution available in Eastern Canada, most faculty make $100 000 or more a year, but the school still struggles with funding??????? My Money was taken and when I asked if I would have a diploma from a accredited institution for my specified field I was quickly silenced.
Orientation for accelerated psw program...excellent????????
Seriously amazing college! With the small community, every interaction is a personal one that makes you feel home and apart of a family. Favorite college by far!
So far its pretty. Little disorganized but what buiness isnt in all this covid shenanigans.
The concerned authority , please Hey , I am not giving any ratings to this college at present as I don't know anything . I have only heard it is a good college . I finally request to the owner to please give me acceptance letter as I have applied for it for more than 15 days . I want to be in this college .
Great campus, green place. The college has many indoor games and outdoor play areas. It has a huge reading all and library and a food court which connects to almost all wings in the premise. It’s build under one roof so there’s no need to exit and re-enter to be in a particular part of the college. Residency is next to the acad building and the college has indoor gym, but no swimming pool. There are an enormous parking areas and a transfer point for all city buses near the main gate.

This college is public or private
First pn lab went well.
Sir, for supply chain management how many days college in a week?
It's been pretty good. The courses I'm in have been helpful so far, and the residence is cozy enough for me.
Love to back in college again, but everything is not normal now, it's so empty, everyone got tagged, few places to sit, library closed, davis as well. Tims is also closed maybe. Still 5 star because st. Lawrence is st. Lawrence ✌
Probably the worst school to go to. it feels like a Highschool almost.
I have Successfully wasted two years here, wouldn’t recommend to international student.
transfering to a better school next year, started a program in welding and fabrication and the school has so little budget. We spend more than half our shop class simply looking for a functioning machine and some scraps to weld, there is little to no tools to work with, we don't learn very much in theory classes and the school itself is very boring and not much happens here. If you want an exiting college experience to remember do not come to this school.
Went to St Lawrence College to get a Vivid booster shot. Very well organized and many volunteers who did a fantastic job.

IS THERE ANYONE TOOK BUSINESS ANALYST COURSE IN ST LAWARANCE,how are the placements offered by the college.what are the chances of job after that?
Moved into the residence for a semester. Never got my security deposit back, and there was a lack of cooking appliances in the kitchen. Kitchen was a mess, and it stunk to high heaven. Laundry is too expensive to do, and the rooms for what you get are overpriced. Still haven't received word on when my security deposit is coming back.
Endlesss i will come in this
Orientation for accelerated psw program...excellent????????
A+ Teacher, support staff, and location. could be better with interdepartmental communication.
Anyone for jan 2020 intake??
I did not know why this college staff is so lazy. They are charging you for the transcript and then you have to pick up from the college. If we have to pick up from the college then why are charing extra? Moreover, they have to provide the students official transcript in 15 days after exam finiah . but they issued after two months. Such a lazy staff.

It's a good college
I don't know have not been there
Very good college and very peaceful surroundings.

Send your children here if you want them earning minimum wage after graduation and living on welfare.
As a graduate from SLC I do not recommend to attend to this college. The student service is poorly. I studied at St. Lawrence for over 3 years and I had to deal with so many problems and miscommunication. I had problem after problem in this school and they seemed to not put enough effort to help students at all. There are much better college options out there.
Some teachers are good, others go to fast and it's hard to keep up to pace.
Couldn't wait to get out of there.
Different experiences based on different programs. Computer Networking and Technical Support was incredibly professional. The Bachelor of Business Administration program, sponsored by Laurentian Univeristy is another story. I was shocked to find a university level program to be less difficult than the college level CNTS. As well, some of the professors are unprofessional, putting in as little as 1/4 the time and effort that other professors do, and come off as rude and condescending when interacting with students. This is an optional PSE institution that students choose to go to, not some local public or high school that they are required to attend, so you'd think that certain faculty would put more time and care into their classes and the overall program. I think its a matter of people who entered into the industry for the paycheck, rather than it being something that they love to do.

A capitalist organization, run by organized crime. They will take your tuition, you will earn minimum wage. Enjoy your life of pain and poverty. Thank you, St. Lawrence College.
I am privileged and pleased to be a first year student at St. Lawrence College - Cornwall Campus. I just started my winter Practical Nursing Program. Great educational place with great teachers.
Bad experience here at the Kingston campus. Head Coordinator of the program I was taking was verbally abusive towards me. Once pushed me against the wall and put his lips on my forehead staring me down. The campus is small and not impressive. The teachers here are pretty much all bad at there job. I had maybe 2 good ones out of the year I spent here.
It's a good school
I go to the culinary program here. Great place to go lots of wonderful people. You will never be left out here. If your think about going here for school or work this is the place you wanna be.

Hi, today i got acceptance letter from Kingston Campus for healthcare administration program in JAN 2022 intake. is there anyone for same programme and same intake from INDIA and also need advice from the previously reached student plz contact me on my insta at raj.parikh98.
Really good school if you don't factor in teachers like Stephan McDonald saying things like "even if you score 100 on every assignment I will not pass you in this class" , over missing an "assignment" that was not listed or mentioned ANYWHERE on the school's blackboard portal online (I kept screenshots of every page) and had no mechanism to view, upload or be marked for said assignment.
Excellent
Attending there for buisness administration. Beautiful campus
It's a decent school, beautiful view along the river. The staff and teachers are very friendly.
Anyone going for May, 2022 intake contact me on instagram: s_aujla2213
I love it and it's my dream school for early decision
ABSOLUTE RIP OFF FOR STUDENTS!! Poorly designed courses and the faculty doesn't even try to make the classes interesting enough. Paid around $25k for Office administrative(General) course till now and still haven't learned anything useful. I feel so scammed getting accepted this college. ???????????? NO GO FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS!! Please don't get trapped just to get PGWP, there are lots of better options out there with much more value for money.
I've succeeded at better colleges....
it's my dream college
good location supportive faculty
Nice campus along with good transit systems

SLC is awesome. Great staff, great teachers, always helpful and tidy.
I did the college prep classes in Cornwall and they never posted or upgraded my grades so it’s like I never did the classes and they don’t seem to care. Not a well organized college, but they like your money.
called to ask about apprenticeship programs applications and the lady on the phone for admission was rude and not helpful and didn't seem like she knew much. Then I called Scott (program contact for pre apprenticeship programs) who was super helpful and kind.
St. Lawrence College (SLC) is a College of Applied Arts and Technology with three campuses in Eastern Ontario, namely Brockville (1970), Cornwall (1968) and Kingston (founded September 1969). Prior to the 1960s, only institutes of technology and vocational centres co-existed with universities in the province of Ontario at the post-secondary level, and many of those schools were established primarily to help veterans reintegrate into society in the post-war years. In response to an increasing need for technical education, Minister of Education (later Premier) William Davis, regarded now as the “father of the Ontario College System”, established Ontario's colleges of applied arts and technology to train individuals for employment in their respective communities. St. Lawrence College was founded during this period in 1967 as part of the province's initiative to create many such institutions. These schools were designed to provide career-oriented diploma and certificate courses, as well as continuing education programs in the communities in which they are located. Brockville was originally proposed as the site for the main campus of St. Lawrence College, but Kingston was ultimately selected, since its larger population base would allow it to support a full campus. For the site, a 59-acre (24 ha) piece of farmland was purchased from the Ontario Psychiatric Hospital (now operated by Providence Continuing Care Centre) located at King St. W. and Portsmouth Ave. Brockville would retain a smaller campus, while the Cornwall and Kingston campuses were designed to serve six counties in Eastern Ontario (namely Frontenac, Leeds, Grenville, Dundas, Stormont and Glengary). Some of the earliest full-time courses offered included such programs as Business Administration, Home Economics, Early Childhood Education, Engineering Technology, and Electronics Technician. Today, about 89 programs are offered. In response to increasing enrolment, in part due to the double cohort, Ontario college's have received funding for expansion in recent years, including St. Lawrence College which has grown considerably since its founding. The Government of Canada sponsors an Aboriginal Bursaries Search Tool that lists over 680 scholarships, bursaries, and other incentives offered by governments, universities, and industry to support Aboriginal post-secondary participation. St. Lawrence College scholarships for Aboriginal, First Nations and Métis students include: Brown's First Nations Opportunities Bursary; Aboriginal Postsecondary Education and Training Bursary.
The Instrumentation and Control Engineering Technology Program has awesome teachers, that are willing to help and take the extra minute to work through a problem. Highly recommend this program through St. Lawrence college
I don't know have not been there
Best college
I so much like SLC college
1st, is that I don't know about this school, but I won't recommend this school to anyone that doesn't know English well, because of the security reasons. I have an argument with the security guard that give me a parking ticket for my vehicle that happens to have a parking permit on my dashboard, and for the security guard that give me, saying that he doesn't see that I have it's on my vehicle dashboard, lying in front of me, even though I show him the permit. So there for, DO NOT TRUST ANY OF THE SECURITY GUARDS THAT IS WORKING AT THE SLC, this is my advice, but it up to u. If there's a zero star rating, I would have given it a zero star, that's how BAD I went through. Lucky my English is not that bad, but is not that good either, n I still fight back with them.
Is there anyone who took Health care administration course at St. Lawrence. what are the chances of getting a job after the course and does any placements offered by the college for HCA graduates?
Seems to be nice
it is osm...Awsm teachers...helpfull students
(Translated) No! (Original) Siraaa
Teachers only care about themselves and dont realize the student is spending thousands to be there
They're charging me full price for this semester even though none of my professors are lecturing.
Decided that Kingston would be a nice change up from Ottawa. Boy was I ever wrong. I joined a chat group on Facebook for people attending St. Lawrence that were staying in dorms. I thought it would be a great way to get to know new people before even living there. It was indeed a great idea and talked with a lot of new people. After talking about partying I got a message from the dorms running manager that I should not be promoting drinking in the dorms and such. I told her okay thats fine I wouldn't but she shouldn't be reading all our Facebook messages as those are private to students. When I got to the dorms they placed me in the room beside the front desk and security is. The bathroom inside our room was literally right beside sum ones office that we could hear talking all day long. Ever tried to study for a big test when sum ones yelling almost all day? Everyone that I had talked with were on higher floors than us and there was sum very inappropriate things going on but security didn't do anything about them. Just because we were placed right beside security we were always the one getting into trouble. They even took our packs of beer for bringing it in - we were all legal they had no right to do that. I then sat down with the dorm manager and she said I shouldn't be promoting drinking in dorms - if I'm legal I should be allowed to drink no matter. I was not giving it to anyone under age just our friends in dorms that were all legal. The classes were terrible as well - each class was half way around the school each time - walked a marathon each day. Not only that it was like we were in grade 9 again with everything so basic - I came to learn new things! The food was good however. Lasted one semester and then dropped out because the none sense of dorms only received 500$ back in food credit that I had to spend in one day out of the 6k paid. Terrible school that just wants money !
Cornwall campus not good for INTERNATIONAL students.
St. Lawrence College is very welcoming. The hands on experiences from instructors is amazing as well as the overall material learned in classes. I don't understand why some of the program requirements have changed for some of the highly competitive programs such as the Social Service Worker program requiring math which I found very disappointing and do not understand as I struggle with math and have a disability. I love that St. Lawrence has updated parts of the college.
This is an incredible College and I am glad my 17 yr old decided to attend, Not only were the instructors patient, thorough and had the interests of every student in her classes, But the Optional Credit Courses were mishandled and the teaching scattered, She had a grade average of over 80 except for the Optional Credits, The one thing that I am not to pleased about, it had been over 4 months and counting, and no diplomas sent out. As with myself when I graduated and began looking for positions, $500 from last May, 2018,, that is 6 months late in paying out, This money could be used by her as she is still looking for an apprenticeship. Overall, and excellent College, as is Loyalist, but slow,,
This college still did not handover the original diploma certificate yet. I done my graduation 2021.
Do not attend any school that takes $8000 for a "career" that pays you less then minimum wage. Thanks for runining my.life!
The staff and students ought to be very proud of themselves. This dinner experience ranked right up there with the finest dining rooms. The quality, selection, presentation and service all deserved top marks! Understandable why there wasn't an empty seat.
They have taken application fee and other stuff and now they are just delaying admission to my son
Some teachers a good
Best college in Ontario ❤️
This is an excellent college. I got best experience and Its best place to study and enjoyment as well. Teachers are great, especially of Computer Networking. I have graduated from St. Lawrence.
I have applied and l have not yet receive acceptance letter
10/10 would recommend
WORST COLLEGE
awesome....
I go fishing around there lol...education-wise, I am not quite sure lol...I hear good things. But I will give it 5 stars for the fishing in that area and the theater.
there is nothing interesting here
I have done my studies in 2020 still didn't get any original documents. More over this college gives you transcript for PGWP after 60 days. No one take care of your future. Just only Money is the Moto.
Very bad management My cousin recently got accepted in a program he attended all his classes for 1st semester from India(online). When he arrived here he was informed the he had failed in several courses. The reason given by college management was "labs are mandatory and must be attended" 0 marks for labs. If that's the case why accept students Just to ripoff international students. ????????if you r a international student please don't apply to this college there r tons of better options out there.
PARAMEDIC PROGRAM REVIEW - If you're considering taking the paramedic program at this so called "College" you should reconsider. This is by far the worst place to take this program. It's completely unorganized and the teachers don't care about actually teaching and providing support. They just read off powerpoint slides until it's time for exam. The lab teachers never teach, just told us to get into groups and figure out stuff on our own. They kept changing test days around last minute. Classes changed and canceled last minute. I basically felt like a rag doll trying to figure out whats happening. They accept almost everyone that applies here because they know 75% will drop or fail and take your money. If you feel like you have time and money to waste this is the place for you.
Pretty good place
Am studying in campus at alpha international academy very bad experience sorry to say I don’t know where to complaint again the teacher I wanna complaint I pay a lot still teacher fail me by one mark last time nobody listen to me even this time also I have 49 marks I need only one mark to pass the course same thing again teacher don’t wanna listen me
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE ENERGY SYSTEMS ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM!!!!! Graduated this year back in April. Now that the TSSA has finally opened testing up I thought I'd get to it, after all the program I took at slc allows me to challenge the gas technician 3 test. NOT! Got a message back from TSSA saying I need to get a form filled out saying I completed the course, makes sense. So now I've asked 4 people at slc and nobody has any idea. This is the best part...there were supposed to be two practicals in that course, well we didnt do any of those so I dont have any marks to submit to TSSA proving that I have taken the course. The program might as well not have existed. Not to mention the rework of the third year which caused me to take literally the same program in my third year as I took in the first semester of the 2nd year.
After a month of being passed from one person to another, trying to get information on classes and admission, I attempted to call the school directly. Not knowing which extention to use, I choose to speak to someone directly for help. The girl who answered was anything but welcoming. It was like talking to a hormonal teenager. She was rude, snappy and spoke condescendingly. It was unprofessional and disrespectful. I will never look at anything this school offers.
I have graduated from st lawrence college
Was on a wait list for a program... Never received a call (like I was promised I would), stating if I was accepted or not. I wasn’t accepted, so now I’m waiting weeks to hear back from the school. When I called to inquire about getting my tuition deposit refunded to me, I was told that it would take about a week to come back to my account. A month later and there is still no trace of a refund. They’re very quick to take your money but when you have a legitimate reason to get it back, then dance around the issue. There is also no support. When I visited the campus, I waited in one of the offices for 30 minutes before being given a two-sentence answer to a complicated question. When calling on ANY of their phone lines, I have to call between 5-8 times on seperate occasions even to get someone on the line. Leaving a message is pointless because they never call back. This has been the single worst experience with any Ontario college I’ve ever had. I can’t believe they’re still running this institution the way they are. They need a complete overhaul.
Got bed bugs from the dorm, lost my furniture...
It is very good place for international students
Your Rugby team is awesome
Worst college ever. Teachers only care about themselves, they never give out help and are rude. Would not recommend this college to anyone. Terrible
If you love "work to rule", you'll love this place! The professors are lazy, careless, rude, disrespectful, unhelpful and generally unsympathetic to your student experience. Waste of my time, money and ultimately human lifespan. Go somewhere else where your dignity will be preserved and your future career has a chance of survival. I regretfully chose this college and I'm only one semester in. This is a C Rate College at best. Their just not a reputable school and their behaviour is unprofessional. I can't wait to graduate in Summer 2022. I chalk it up to a mediocre and painful experience navigating this dump heap!
It's an excellent college with some great full and part time programs to choose from.
Very bad staff. They don’t even answer phone calls.
If you aren't fluent with APA formatting, think very carefully about this decision.
Best college .Leading course Mechanical Technician ..sept 2018- 2020 batch Wonderful time of my life
Best college, professional staff and have lots of on campus job opportunities. Highly recommended.
No reply not satisfied Bad service Hi Sir/Mam Could you please tell me that do you guys provide Pg dilpoma courses I Have done BCA ( Bachelor in Computer Appilication and wanted study further in same course I have 6.5 Band Overall ,Listening-7,Reading-6,Speaking-6,Writing-6 and In which can i apply. Thanks Vikrant
Money grab - make you pay every time to save your seat when you're already enrolled and a returning student in the program.
No ping pong table
I can honestly say the three years I went to this college were the worst three years of my life. Too many reasons to write it all out, but as a hard working student, this is a very demoralizing and isolating place to go to school. Might as well spend thousands of dollars somewhere else because you will end up paying the price with more than just money here.
I have applied offer letter of may intake for health care administration in this college. .. But i do not received yet... Can anyone tell me about the timing of offer and also about this course
