Best college to study in Vancouver, I definitely recommend this college to everyone.

Vancouver Community College - Broadway Campus whooot! whooot!

I wasted my time and money going to this community college for 2 years. Not recommend at all

I completed 2 semesters at the Vancouver Community College. 2010-2011. It was a good experience ☺. Wheelchair accessible. Located on the north side of East Broadway. Between Clark and Fraser. The #9 and the #99 B-Line drop off north and south Broadway.

One of the best English schools in town.

Nice

Friendly staff, smart teachers :)

College is great.

Awesome collage

ONE of the best places to upgrade! Staff was so nice and helped with a plan. Now because of this school, I'm entering an engineer program next fall. THANK YOU!

Lower and Upper Advanced Classes good chance for me to adapt the language

Better than you'd expect

This place is like my second home. I really love it VCC. It has down to earth instructors and they have great classes and programs for everyone. It's a little society of Vancouver so it's good place to start anything and make your dream come true. One concern only. Never buy from bookstore the sale person wouldn't give the information and they won't accurately listen to your concern.

Helpful and pleasant staff. Accommodating and focused on help rather than profit.

*collection of the bests*

Best place to get your Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship in the lower mainland. Been that way for 20 years and continues to excel

** BEWARE ** Did you ever want to know how it feels like to be robbed by an institution? Deal with the refund policy at this school and you'll find out. The customer service at this school is terrible, its run by people who don't care about your situation and will steal as much money as possible as sneaky as possible. Here's my story, I was put on the wait list for one of their programs. It wasn't till the last possible day in the week that I was accepted (3 days in). I was forced to do a one day payment, otherwise my payment would have been deemed "late". Here's the kicker, they forced me to pay the entire tuition for the year, not even telling me that I was able to pay for it in 2 installments; nope they just made me pay for the entire program. Here's advice if this happens to you and you decide you don't want to be shoved into a classroom overcrowded with people. Simply don't pay, that way you won't have to deal with their less then adequate supervisors, and you'll end up not wasting money like I did. My program was close to $5000, How much will I get back? I can promise you this, that one day of school will cost me a couple of thousand dollars. Do yourself a favor, don't give in to their greedy ways, knowing that YOU as a student will NOT be taken care of. Having been taking programs here for close to a decade and this is how they treat you. Don't be scammed into their ways. The truth of this school is they will overcharge for everything and are dishonest when it comes to situations like these as they will always rule in their favor. This school has been going downhill for the past few years, its easy to tell when your put into a classroom. It'll only be a matter of time until the doors close, with their shady business practices. Keep in mind it takes over 6 weeks to process a refund, which in my opinion is ridiculous. Also they have no problem taking as much money from you as possible, I finally got my refund cheque back and needless to say, that 1 day of school cost me well over $2500+ (Over half the tuition). ** Avoid being scammed **

Great City College. Spent 2 years here and loved every moment of it.

I took the health care assistant program and it was the worst experience of my life.People were not very nice and acted like they know everything and try to put you down for small things.Instructors were trash, and were not good at helping students.I always came depressed each day to class and hated every minute of it.I would rate this school 0/10

Vcc is awesome!

Garbage school. Lots of bully and harassment has taken place in culinary arts department that ill never forget in my life. And they just want to charge you more tuition fee instand of focus on teaching. I dont think that is the duty of a teacher.

A school where you see the different minorities constantly arguing and fighting who is better... full of insecure people representative of Vancouver's social scene. BEWARE

Those in charge of hiring for LINC are not well-versed in appropriate/quality qualifications for TESOL. As such, I feel sorry for their students as they won't likely get the instruction that they need.

Welcoming and helpful staff, engaging programs and instructors, and a great feeling campus all make VCC and excellent choice.

Great view of the mountains!

I was bullied lots at this school by teachers and older class mates and felt like a outcast.Taking the Healthcare Assistant program at vcc was a living hell for me each day thats why i left this college even though i got high marks in this class. If you are quiet and shy people will pick on you and destroy your self esstem bit by bit until you no longer want to come to class.

The foundation class for heavy mechanical trades at Annacis island was a joke. I wish I hadn’t spent my hard earned cash here. I wish I had known before hand. They had a teacher for us who had no idea what a joke. My class had the worst instructors and when we told the department head Rick Cyr didn’t even bother looking into our concern and seemed arrogant. I am not spending any of my hard earned dollars at VCC ever again.

Its fine i mean strict but ok i guess

A great place to study and find a career path!

This school has a terrible Website application program that can't recognize errors in applications! This can happen even when you already paid for it online and without even asking for the SPECIFIC PROGRAM OR COURSE! This however was kindly corrected with the helpful staff.

Cheap lunch near work. It's a school so quality is hit or miss.

I have had horrible experience with VCC when applying for self paced courses. Staff is unprepared to deal with questions and there is so much misinformation between each department. I'm literally having a mental breakdown just trying to get into my courses or receive a textbook I need (still haven't been told I can recieve it). When I confronted them about my problem they completely deflect. Is there anything I can do? It seems like they are just going to drop me from my courses because I'm extremely unhappy with my services instead of dealing with clear internal problems. Is there any way I can formally complain about my situation?

Good if you are on campus and forget your food. Some items are overly salty or sweet. Not much selection in the vegetarian department let alone vegan department! Keep in mind they are students and they make mistakes. It's hit or miss really. The cashiers are nice. Price range of items go from $1 (fruit) - $6 sandwiches - ~$10 entrées. That's quite a bit to charge students. Maybe that's why I see most of them eating instant noodles!

I have been studying at Vcc for a while and I really like here. Good atmosphere, Great smart excellent linc 6 teacher Bob, friendly helpful tutors, professional counselor zhang dan and pretty warm receptionist. Everything is great!

Lying scammers

Great community

I was a student with disabilities in the culinary program at this school and I was treated like utter crap by Chef Hamid and Chef Kratz. It's unreal the abuse that's dished out by these individuals and they believe they should be mutely respected for it. I completely understand the culinary industry is rough around the edges, yet that shouldn't be an excuse for the way I was treated. Will never attend this school ever again. The new head director of this program is questionable as well. (Do I have to tell you one more time, that's not my knife in the sink and never was), thank you for picking on me all of block 11. On the other hand, I appreciated Kamal for putting her best efforts forward to integrate me into the program. Ty, you are truly a good hearted natured person.

Great school, I made a right choice!

Review is for the student staffed cafeteria. Top quality food at a very reasonable price, it's nice to have an option like this close to work.

I have studied at VCC's great continuing studies courses and absolutely loved it. During my time at VCC, I have had the chance to dine at the JJ's fine dining restaurant, which is run by VCC Culinary Arts students and supervised by instructors. Wow, the students and instructors are very professional and provide a five star dining experience. I was amazed. Great place to learn and eat well at the same time!

wonderful experience with wonderful staff

Had Very bad experience with registration staff. Very rude.

Had Very bad experience with registration staff. Very rude and un sensitive.

Does this college has a SDS status?

This is a school where the administrators/people in power (chairs, professors, dispute resolution etc) will fight tooth and nail for their caucasian students. It doesn't matter if the caucasian student was the instigator, if they have a clear pattern of discrimination - the administrators do not care. The administrators will do everything in their power to set their preferred students up for success. If you are coloured, speak with an accent, or are in any way different from the administrators, do not expect any equanimous help if you are having issues at this school (bullying, systemic racism, professors withholding education from you, etc). It is sad, but it is the truth. That being said, someone who is marginalized and treated poorly by people in power can still leave VCC with a certificate or diploma. But honestly, the lasting trauma is hardly worth it.

It's not a school, It's movie and television base. They took the classroom, parking lot, cafeteria, even the toilet almost everything. That's dereliction of duty.

50 minutes waiting on hold.

Just been here to have my vaccine. Thanks to the all the staff for their professional hard work and also for the great fast paced layout for arrivals

I've been studying a course from CCA, and their self-paced courses are quite frustrating. Although I took English as a requirement for my program, it's hard finding a right teacher for extra help. Teachers get rotated for their schedule every week; sometimes some teachers forget to record your mark into the system, or not accountable enough to keep up with grades and such. I asked for a help on English grammar (for English course), some teachers just want to keep chatting instead of helping students. There are distraction in the environment where you study with other students talking to teachers, it's SO hard to focus on studying. Not only the distractions, teachers don't seem professional enough to do their jobs. If you're independent to study on your own it's okay, otherwise I DON'T recommend. I met a few nice teachers, but they don't know how to listen to student's concerns aside from giving false hope. Besides I had to track progress by keep reminding the teachers and the coordinator always give excuses about lack of student for class-based courses. Like seriously, some teachers at VCC are so lazy and unprofessional.

Friendly staff, very helpful

Rud staffs... That's what I can say about this college

The people that work here (instructors and staff) have quite the god like complextion. I highly reccommend going to another institution over this one - the course even costs more at VCC.

College does not support its international students who pay the most tuition.
