I was so lucky to Withdrawal my application at early stage as they asked me to translate my Montreal University's docs from English to English, asked me "where am I from?" even I told them I am a Canadian, asked me to provide the student visa. I watched their YouTube video, the google their reviews and Media: thank you the God, with GPA of 3.8 and GMAT of 710, I am going to apply to the University of Toronto as the best Canadian University. I was so naïve to apply, by the God has stopped me at entrance.... Nope and nope...Only I will apply to the Public funded Colleges and Universities like McGill, Hec Montreal, UToronto, and my Seneca or Ryerson.... To Owner's Respond: Some Professors as I can see on the Video are speaking English with using the Dictionary and by using very Simple English, the staff is speaking in the different English and I saw why they asked me to translate English to English docs, they asked the Canadians to provide the Student Visa, that could be nonsenses (but not for them); the supervisor who contacted me on the LinkendIn, was never in Canada, acting unprofessional and rude that required to block him.. In addition, UCANWEST staff not ready to accept their mistake, they have prefer to actively to promote their University... So sad and unprofessional...

I am a student here. The staff are well prepared, courteous and very helpfull. The university is centrally located in the city and is very accessible. As a student, you need to study hard to pass the courses but it is possible to get good grades. I am reading the negative comments and to my experience, this University stands shoulder to shoulder with my previous educations at Swedish Universities. The only hard part is that here the terms are about three months each. This puts students under more pressure but again nothing that one can not manage (even if you work part time).

Unexpected and unwanted reply from UCW regarding admission appeal form decision Hi, I'm Sandeep Singh Brar from India. I got admission in UCW July intake 2021 with MBA foundation+MBA program as well as scholarship of 10000 CAD dollars. Then I sent them admission appeal form with supportive documents to remove MBA foundation from my offer letter. After waiting for more than two weeks, this was their reply for decision: UCW Feedback Foundation Update: "Admissions Committee has reviewed student's second resume, and found it not adequate in either depth or scope. Student is still required to take the Foundation courses." University must know that my resume is entirely adequate and I deserve to get direct admission into MBA. However unfortunately, as I read all the reviews online about UCW, those are exactly true in spite of the fact UCW forces students to take MBA foundation program and then most of the students when cannot pass the course due to rigid requirements, then they change the university/college to another. I really condemn this kind of practice done by UCW to make money. I'm competent enough to pass GRE or GMAT exams and can also take admission in public universities like University of British Columbia, which are at least genuine and totally effective and recognised globally. When UCW firstly offered me admission in just one week after applying, I thought it was due to my competencies and skills which University would have liked as per CV and I was very happy to be offered admission in such a wonderful MBA program, but now when I'm making appeal for the admission, they are saying my resume is inadequate. I'm looking for a reputable University and high quality education in Canada, not like this what I just faced or got to hear from UCW. I don't need their false promises of scholarship and fake assurances when I can't even fulfill my desired course directly. This MBA foundation is fraud and not supportive in terms of international students services. If they can't recognise my worth by my resume, then I don't either consider University Canada West to be my dream University. I know how skillful, knowledgeable and experienced I am. In today's world it's rare to experience 100% satisfaction from any type of services that we try to avail. People are busy and occupied and in the given pandemic state, it's most challenging to meet the desired expectations. I am an IT Professional from India who searched every corner under the sun seeking the needed assistance to get admission in Canada with the intention to pursue my Masters. My age and the study gap on my resume made my case an uncommon one. Hence, I cannot count the number of calls I made to innumerable consultants until my online hunt drove me to UCW. I ran through UCW profile and was in the process of comprehending the impressive information available online for this university. Within the next 24hrs, I get a call from Bhavana Kadaboiena (Admission Counselor at UCW). She was prompt and knowledgeable and quick in introducing me to the Admission process at UCW and also ensured that my application was duly filled with the required documents. I did not have my English Proficiency test in place but Bhavana guided me as a friend to sign up for Duo-Lingo test which gave me the ability to complete the test Online without moving a step out of my house yet getting the results within 2 days and enabling my application to flow to the jury. Bhavana guided me at every step to make my successful and safe online tuition fees payments. She was prompt in getting the acknowledgement of payment receipts and always followed up with me while we walked every step together. Finally, when UCW issued me the Letter of Acceptance along with the Scholarship letter (this was the biggest surprise of my life), Bhavana did not have words to express her joy for me over the phone call. She was delighted and so was I. I remember telling Bhavana, "can I say that you are lucky for me". You indeed are, Bhavana. I cannot thank UCW enough for considering me in their institution. Moreover, I did know how to thanks Bhavana for making it all happen for me like a miracle. If it was not her prompt and regular support and follow ups, my broken confidence could not have gained the spirit to move ahead at all. Having said that my case was not a common one, I am and will always be obliged to UCW and to Bhavana for making me feel cared and looked after so well. I enrolled in UCW, master's of MBA, in April 2019. The registrar's office was not convenient at all. Also, the financial office was inferior in terms of customer service and response to the emails and in-person asking before the COVID pandemic. The only positive thing I remember was the career service office responded to all questions respectively. Devi Sharma and her college were very patient, and they always smiled to respond to all questions and ready to assist. The quality of instructors was inferior. Not only because of academic knowledge but due of their characters. They were always angry, and I remember one day, one of the instructors in another class roared on the students (very loudly and with bad words). In most of the classes, students were free without any course presenting. Library was very small and inconvenient. Having limited computers and pay for every paper print while in other universities it is free for friendly academic paper print with respect to the environment. I was shocked; because I thought I would encounter modern professional classes and management. I tried to book a time with Dr. Barak, the Chairman; Unfortunately, I couldn't meet him because his secretory while I book a time told he is in the meeting; surprisingly while I booked the time! Finally, I switched to another university 5 minutes far away from UCW. It was totally different. The rest money, $ 2950, has remained in UCW financial portal, and I requested to refund my money a couple of times, but they didn't refund my money yet after almost two years. It sounds that they need to do big housekeeping, basically; it is my friendly suggestion. I am still waiting to receive my rest money.

University really need to start taking student reviews seriously, one of your professors' named "John Shayegan" who teaches Project Management (MGMT-640) to MBA students just reads out the slides and is surely not good enough to be a professor. There is no scope for participation in his class and if you would ask him about something, he wouldn't be much interested in responding to your query or if he would answer, he would make it look like as if he is doing a favor on you. Note: This review is fully given by a current genuine student. I am very satisfied with the teaching method of UCW. Learned a lot about adequate writing skills. This university also holds different session to help struggling students. One thing I must say if you are coming to study MBA, need to manage time and study. Without studying no institute or university will pass you. Please read all the reviews about this school before you decide to enroll. My wife applied for the MBA program at UCW and we have submitted all the required documents on September 28, 2021, only to find out 4 weeks after that my wife's Philippine 4 year bachelor degree is not equivalent to Canada and thus do not meet the entry requirement for the program. UCW should have seen the documents by the first week and made that assessment instead of waiting for 4 weeks that is lost. We should have looked for another schools instead, we kept on following up but they also say that my wife's documents are in order. There are also a lot of bad reviews for this school.

I sent an online application request for my daughter to study in management stream. on Friday morning I received a call from your staff Robert, during the telephone conversation his wording were towards insulting and questioning like "can you pay the fee $ 69k and do you have a passport" where I didn't want to continue and disconnect the phone. When Sireesha Yekula called me 4 months back Aug 2020 I had no clue that I would be able to be part of UCW .I was very sceptical about getting the acceptance from university .I wasn't even ready to give a shot to start the applying process.But with her never say no attitude and relevant experience in the subject she relentlessly ensured to guide me through out the process ,i didn't look back. I am a current MBA student, and I am totally disappointed by UCW's schooling behavior. There is no proper and cautious attitude to face the course registration for international students on time. I was continuously asking which courses I could select in my last semester before the official registration time. I got no response. And when I tried to drop my elective class and remain it in my last semester, the register stuff told me I could drop it in my portal system by myself, which indicated I could only take one optional class in my last semester. However, when I sent email to ask how long my requirement can be approved, I got a total opposite and horrible reply from other staff, he said I have to attend this class, no chance to drop it. I followed all the rules of the school, but no one can give reliable information to students. Those behaviors are totally irresponsible, and I have enough reason to doubt that the school wants to charge me more tuition fees (2350 Cad dollars per class each time) to make me fail this semester and push me to take this one class in my last semester. I am a hard worker on study, and I collect money to pay the tuition fee. Now I have to stand out to protect my right. I did everything properly and cautiously, and now I got unfair results and was insulted! I need to hear the responsible reply from the school!

University Canada West is a good business school located in Vancouver. Accrediting bodies in and out of Canada and internationally as a proof of its academic standards clearly shows that they are at par with top 100 MBA schools in Canada and the world. I did my research as I just found the school through online (website). What convinced me to be here was their flexible blended program where you can weigh your time during studies from a 100% online from your home country, mixed 50/50 or 100% on-campus in BC. It's great, specially during these unprecedented times of the pandemic. They also offered scholarship which was friendlier to the budget compared to the popular and expensive universities. At the same time, the educational standard is rigorous as they have a very good syllabus where only practical and applicable business concepts are taught ensuring that learning time is well spent. So one should not be too loose as it is a serious business school delivering quality graduates prepared for real life management skills or start-up business. Many of the faculties are experienced professors coming from the well-known top Universities like UBC. It is underrated, new, well situated boutique University at the downtown Vancouver. During my admissions process, I was assisted by the friendly student advisor, Ms.Kavitha Yarram from the application until the enrolment. Please do look for her as she would be very happy to assist any interested applicants and walk you through whatever questions you have like I have experienced. I am so disappointed with the poor quality of the UCW financial team and their student service. I was a UCW student in the previous year, about two months ago I have accidentally transferred money to my UCW account and I have applied for a refund right away. I have not yet got any response from them after 2 months. I have dropped several emails to their financial team and called them more than 4 times and every single time they had put me on hold for 15 minutes and after that, there was no answer. Additionally, they have kept on hold more than $2500 of my deposit tuition fees when I changed my university, due to their low-quality professors and services. I am more than happy that I am not any more UCW student although they offered me a $10,000 scholarship to study MBA there.

My brother "Simon DaimYar" paid for our nephew $7,900 submission and couldn't get a visa so he asked for a refund and he got refund confirmation on Feb. 24, 2021, which was saying "Upon verification of your refund eligibility, the process time is 30 business days excluding weekends and holidays which is approximately 6 weeks.", then after 16 weeks my husband sent 4 different emails to 4 different departments, and left a voice message, also left rate and review here on Google until someone sent him an email and said "My name is Bradley and I am the Senior Communications Manager for UCW. I will look into this for you.", then a couple of days later another unnamed general email came and said “We didn’t get any consent form, and the email we got was refund approval, anyhow if it’s necessary then send the form”, then my husband replied to same email and Bradly (the UCW Senior Communications Manager) and said "As you can see on the email we received it doesn't mention any consent form, it just says refund approved, it's in process and will be deposited for up to 6 weeks. Anyhow, if it's necessary then send it to me.". Since then nothing happen another 4 weeks passed totally over 20 weeks and no refund no proper communication. Please have a business manner and DO NOT REPLAY and say “Sorry to hear that”. TAKE AN ACTION AND COMMUNICATE WITH US (phone/email) AND REFUND OUR MONEY.

Responses to my emails were very quick until I paid tuition deposit. It was a struggle to get a revised LOA and I have sent at leats 5 emails with no responses in the last 2 months concerning other issues. They also keep changing my student advisor. I am a prospective student at UCW and up to now, I didn’t have a satisfying experience with them. During the pandemic, the application processing time was very long. They always provided me with the email addressee with no response. According to their website, students do not need an MBA foundation if they have job experience related to business. When I provided them proofs and all other documents, the admission team refuse my request and even do not explain to me why. It makes me feel disappointed about their performance. The information on their website was very useful and attractive but they did not follow what they said and even could not explain to me properly. Even I asked to talk to the supervisor but they refused to give me an email because I didn’t pay the deposit yet. I think during this pandemic the University should have been more supportive and trustworthy.

Whenever I had a doubt or some problem regarding my course or fees , he always helped me and guided me on how to proceed. So overall he made my application process effortless... excited to start my term at UCW.

UCW is playing with their student to refund their payment after they rejected for Visa. Applied for a refund from early December and after more than two month still nothing. They are playing to postpone the refund as much as they can. They are not replying back their Emails until you send many reminders. After 1 months I have received a new form to fill then I followed up again two time and finally they responded that soon we will deposit. again after one month after phone call and two follow ups by Email they send another email that they are waiting for their management approvals for one month back!!!!! This University is so irresponsible and playing with their applicants. not recommended to apply at all as in case of rejection they will not return back your money which is more than 7000 Canadian Dollars. I am really sorry to be interested to study in UCW sometime I will try to publish this in any social media that I can to make students aware of such behavior.

Worst experience...They intentionally fail students...Students can't eat,sleep or work properly because of the pressure of assignments..Focuses heavily on writing and resources like you are not doing MBA, you are going to become either writer or researcher..Some professors think that we can't write even a single line by own and we need to cite each and everything..if not then it will be plagiarized..I want to ask if we didn't give proper credit to the author then what? you are not going to publish our assignments, so you should appreciate the efforts of the students, the matter that they bring in their assignments not the credits or citations.
