Great School!!!!

I went here for online tests many times and I love the atmosphere and the campus is beautiful.

(Translated) Great! (Original) 棒!

Stayed for a conference and was very comfortable. The parking lots almost have steps, so be careful with low-to-the-ground cars.

i love this school. the only things i have to complain about are the food and the security. the cafeteria food is average at best (not fresh or healthy, undercooked meat, etc.). the security guard at the booth was quite rude to me tonight, which shouldn’t be the case since i am a paying student here. i have heard a lot from other students of security randomly searching unlocked cars, and security randomly checking the apartments on campus, neither of which make sense to me or to other students i’ve spoken to. also, although this may seem small, the parking is impossible. there are nowhere near enough places near the dorms (which is important to me, especially to feel safe as a female at night). this school has a lot of potential, and academically it’s great. as a prospective student, i had a great deal of trouble in trying to get in touch with my admissions counselor and to find someone to answer questions about housing, etc. overall, i do recommend this school, but the flaws should be taken into consideration.

Trinity Western University isn't the university everyone thinks it is. Yes, they teach from a Christian perspective which is great, but the teachers hardly teach anything truly academic. You are put into a set of core classes when you enroll, provided that you have never done them. The three classes are English, Philosophy, and Foundations. All three of these classes were horrible and helped me accomplish nothing. If you asked for help from a professor, they will simply respond with "just try your hardest" and then give you an awful grade. While the campus itself is beautiful, the price you are paying for it all is nowhere near being worth it. Unless you came from a private high school or are apart of an international exchange group, you're an outsider. If you are coming in from a public BC high school, consider enrolling at another Christian university. On the upside, the commuter lounges are nice and food is cheap there. Buildings are well decorated and grounds are kept clean. Getting in contact with school admin was easy. Overall, not a positive experience at this school.

Welcome to the first world, where we throw perfect good shoes over a power line.

I love this university. Been to many, all over the continent but this is my favourite! The staff, from profs to custodials are very caring for the students. You really feel valued here. You can tell that the professors really care about their students and most of the class sizes are small enough that they get to know you and you them. If only they would stop letting Sodexo take over everything... Other than that though I do highly recommend this school

Nice to see the new business centre under construction ... unhampered by the normal campus buzz.

TWU provides high quality education, safe environment, faith foundation

Good stuff

The community here is great!

I am a student here and love it! It has taught me so much about who I am, and what I want to do with my life! I’ve made life long friends here, and I will continue to learn here! The community is so strong here which is just one of the reasons why I love it here! The professors are also great!

There is a fantastic community of students here. I've made some lifelong friends and many connections. The music profs really know how to teach their material. Especially the music theory professor! If you want an accessible understanding of music then take the music theory and digital recording classes here. They are by far the most beneficial courses :)

Best community you’ll ever find. Just go and see the culture.

(Translated) Good. I went to the summer camp after school. The teacher was so fun and good. I was very satisfied with the active support of those working there. (Original) Good . 나는 여름캠프 방과후 캠프를 갔는데..선생님이 너무 재미있으시고 좋으셨다. 거기서 일하시는 분도 적극적으로 도와주셔서 참 만족스러웠어요

Great university

YESSSSSS

A great school that follows the heart of Christ.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Trinity Western as a student. It was a transformational time and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for high-quality, Christian-based undergraduate and graduate-level education.

Trinity Western University established over 50 years ago in the Langley, BC about half an hour west of Vancouver. It has been ranked A+ by Globe and Mail University reports for the past five years. Also the same report ranked TWU's school of business number one in the province and second to Queens University's School of Business nationally. I personally have been a student and involved with the students body, the administration and faculty.

Very friendly atmosphere and if you walk the grounds you will find wildlife everywhere. The pond is so peaceful and worth taking your camera for a few snapshots.

Beautiful campus in the heart of BC.

Some staff are not nice and all they care about here is money

People are kind and patient. Quality teachers and quality campus.

Fantastic environment to get a rounded liberal arts education and ask tough questions. Professors know their stuff and care about students.

An absolutely amazing University! Small class sizes, friendly and respectful students, and instructors that are willing to help you with anything and everything! I've had the Dean of my department personally call me aside and make sure I was okay simply because I didn't look as cheerful as usually. It's the type of school where instructors will ask you if you are eating and sleeping alright in difficult test weeks. At this University you get instructors who truly care about their students. Although you do have to take a certain number of Bible courses, beliefs are never forced on anyone. I've seen non-christian students openly debate their disbelief, and it was met with acceptance and understanding. If you take a Bible course as a course on "a fictional book", instructors will not penalize you. It is a great place for those wanting to further their understanding of the grace, for those simply wanting to be able to freely express their Christianity, or for those who want a small community to learn in. I am proud to be a TWU grad and only hope TWU is still around so my children can attend this school!

Excellent faculty and registrar's office.

Great faculty awesome people , Campus life is just splendid.!!

Amazing campus and the facilities are very helpful such as the cafeteria which is open to the public.

My kids have attended the counselling here and seen student counsellors and they love it - they love the students that they see and I feel like that is a very good reflection of the school. I would recommend the school and the FRC to anyone!

Highly caring staff and family feel community. The amount of support I got here so far is ridiculous. Best university experience ever. It is an expensive school but very worth it if the program you want suits you. Also, it is a bit out of the way so having a car would be better but you can manage otherwise.

They will violate your rights if you choose to not be vaccinated! They will strip you of your scholarships, meal plan, and residence if you do not comply with draconian vaccination policies.

The university is small and the fare here is expensive.

Good university

The staff and students are so friendly and caring. The campus is so green, and they have been updating the facilities as well.

(Translated) It is one of the places I went to take the IELTS test, and the university is very pretty. The surrounding natural scenery and environment are good. There is a bus, but I know it takes a long time. (Original) IELTS 시험 보러 간곳중 한군데인데 굉장히 대학교가 이쁩니다. 주변에 자연경관 및 환경이 괜찬습니다. 버스가 다니긴 하는데 오래걸리는걸로 알고 있습니다

It was great

A fantastic experience

As we all know, no university is perfect and there is flaws in everything. There are things that this university does very well and other things that need to be improved. The faculty are truly one of the greatest assets that this university has: they care, they want to challenge/upset, & they will help you individually. Students that attend here are genuinely kind, have a big heart, and have been welcoming. I believe that everyone of whatever background can find a place to feel like they belong if they seek to find the right people.

Great School!!!!

(Translated) I lived the best week of my life in that place ... I will never forget trinity wester university viva Mexico (Original) Vivi la mejor semana de mi vida en ese lugar... nunca olvidare trinity wester university viva México

Good studying!

TWU has great potential. It is one of leading school to participate with Globalizing World.

This is a great, if expensive Christian university. There is one caveat. They do not support people with disabilities, especially the blind, very well. On multiple occasions we asked for stairs and curbs to be properly marked, and they were not. There were also issues with campus lighting that were not addressed. Leadership was willing to meet and discuss these issues, but nothing was ever done.

If you google "Trinity Western University Evolution" you will find among other things an article which states: "Dennis Venema of Trinity Western University recently shared some of his experiences teaching evolution at an evangelical protestant university. Writing in The BioLogos forum, Venema discusses the thrill he experiences when he shares his evidence for evolution with his evangelical students". On January 26, 2019 I pasted part of this article which included this statement and emailed it to the academic dean at Trinity Western and asked her if it is true. I told that if I didn't hear back from her I would assume that it is true. It is now March 1, 2019 and I have not heard back from her so I think that it is fair to conclude that is is true. While I would not recommend Trinity Western, I would strongly recommend that whether or not you decide to got there you google "biblical creation ministries" and you will find any abundance of resources which support the Bible and will strengthen your faith.

TWU is an interesting school, and very interesting if you're an outsider. People are actually very nice comparing to other schools. It does not bother me to study some subjects through Christian perspective, I'm always interested to learn about other cultures. the school administration is very caring. They care about your mental health and physical well being more than other schools in lower mainland. There are many events and sessions to make your university experience less stressful.

Caring, assertive and family like environment as I helped my cousin enroll.

I have applied for MBA in international business in june In TWU, and they charged me 290$ for application, still they havent tell me whether my seat is confirmed or not.I have mailed them but they didn't care to reply at least.Totally unprofessional behavior. International students who are thinking to apply to this university beware of their unprofessional behavior.I regret that I have applied to this university.Hope I could give them 0 stars.

Great place to work

I didn't find anyone responsible here who cares about the student's future. I got admission here for jan intake 2019 but I got visa very late and then I get admission for September intake 2019. Now I register my courses but not approved by instructors yet, then I sent mail and call many times to university to confirm but i didn't get any response, According to me they don't care how student pay big amount and They already know that I am already 8 months late to attend classes. This is my first and very bad experience with the university.

Current student here! Would not recommend this school solely based on its terrible liberal arts integration. The "Foundations" program is an absolute joke. I personally have never talked to someone that has thought of foundations to be worthwhile. It is essentially a manditory class that you spend your time writing about your feelings. There was one unit in a foundations class that was literally about how it was good to exercise. PAINFUL! Everything discussed in foundations are things that you should know going into high school. If you post an opinion on a topic that is differs from other people, you get a bad grade. Oh, I almost forgot - one of the foundations that you pay for is led by a student that is a year older than you! If I was to do it over again, I would have went somewhere else. You go to university to broaden and understand others perspective, not to be deafened in an echo chamber of “WHY DIDN’T YOU GO TO CHAPEL EVERY DAY THIS WEEK? I AM PRAYING FOR YOU BECAUSE I AM VERY CONCERNED. WOULD YOU LIKE TO GET A COFFEE AND DISCUSS THE HELLISH IMPLICATIONS OF YOUR DWINDLING FAITH IN OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR??”. Also - if you do go here and you are not sure if you want to stay (or even if you are sure that you want to stay at the time), MAKE SURE that every class you take is transferrable. They make it hard to transfer anywhere because most of the first year courses (and many others) are non-transferrable, locking you in on paying them unless you want to take an additional year on top of what you have remaining in your program at another school.

Good spirit place.!!

Trash

I went to UBC first. I attended a Calculus class in Heb theater with 400+ students. The Prof came in and the first thing he said was "60% of you are going to fail this class. How do I know? Because 60% of my students always fail this class." I withdrew before Christmas. I went to Trinity. The first day of Calculus class there were 24 students. The Prof came in and said "You are going to succeed in calculus. I teach every concept three times. The first time I teach the lesson, you will not know what to do. The second time most people begin to understand how to solve the questions and the third time it will seem easy to you." Both Professors were correct. I ended up with an 'A' at Trinity.

I absolutely love my school. Best community, students and professors.

Campus, Staff, and students are some of the kindest most inclusive people you'll meet! I attended as a commuter and they have the BEST commuter environment!

Excellent university with exceptional teachers.

So outdated. Place needs a serious renovation.

I have applied for MA leadership, May 2021 intake. Hope to get admission soon. As an international student applying for Canada, TWU is my first priority. These comments, were very helpful to decide my future path. Thanks a lot.

Ok- great place to do your homework- even if you don't attend yet. I like the vibe. I like to work in the cafeteria because it is huge! Hilarious and cheap improv in the drama building on Friday nights at 11pm. Well worth the drive.

Nice helpfully staff

I don't no this place

Teachers are fine. However worst service and unfair treatment to international students ever. Security is very poor: Phone charger got stolen once and sexual harassments everywhere on Langley campus and no real resolution from the school. Very disappointed!

Great Place

Such a beautiful campus.
