From the moment I set foot upon the UBC Okanagan campus I knew this was where I wanted to spend the next four years. Four years later I can truly acknowledge that I have never made a better decision in my life. Beautiful facilities, found in an amazing location, filled with lovely people.

I did not have a good experience with the staff here. Some great profs of course, and a pretty campus yes, but many of their staff were rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. On top of this, the advisors' lack of knowledge resulted in me not being able to get my minor by one course as they told me I had all requirements needed to get in to my next program, then when I fortunately went back to reconfirm in my last semester, they told me I would need one more course. Due to this being my last semester, I had no choice but to drop my minor. I wouldn't recommend unless you live at home and are wanting to save money by staying in town. Otherwise I would absolutely look to uvic or other schools.

One of the greatest schools to pursue higher studies in Canada and in the world. UBC Okanagan is perfect for people looking to get a world-class education from a top university, but still want to have that laid back slow-paced lifestyle. Pace of life here is perfect for people who may get too overwhelmed by the city life, and the professors and staff are amazing too! Plus the natural beauty here is absolutely beautiful!

I love this place. Great energetic student body and great staff! I love the small campus however that does mean parking and lunch time can be challenging. You're not missing out on anything by applying here. Lots and lots of things to do in the surrounding area. No Regrats.

This campus was originally Okanagan University College. I went here back in the 90's. Campus has grown. There are dorms and rental housing right on site. There is a bookstore in location, as most campus' do. It is UBC Okanagan for awhile now, but it is no where near the size of UBC in the lower mainland. I went there also, so it's easy to compare the two. I found the professors and staff well educated and accredited, here, in the Okanagan. Location is far out from the city. It is right close to the Kelowna International Airport. UBC in the lower mainland is also far out from the city also, so I don't think that's much of negative, unless you have transportation issues. City Bus has routes out to this location.

IMHO, When it comes to --my field of study-- this college looks bogus and only shares names with the real UBC in Vancouver. Be careful! If you like UBC, go to the real UBC! Generally speaking, the faculty at UBCO are weak and the bright students end up leaving the campus for access to real academic resources. However if you are only seeking a degree and don't care about receiving real education, this is the perfect place for you! Good luck!

Beautiful modern campus with new buildings as of only a year ago. This is a small campus especially in comparison to UBC Vancouver but the surrounding area is beautiful in all seasons. Worth it.

Its great place and beautiful building. However, rude student advisors, untrained professor, very depressing community. I have wasted 1 year at UBCO, seriously all the courses i took i had to study on my own and the professor are just reading from the slides.

Campus is beauty. Student body is energetic and there are a whole lot of club options. Coming from the U of R, this University is hella good. No matter what you're into, partying, outdoorsy, studying, athletics, arts, there's a group of people stoked on it. The Okanagan is obviously beautiful as well. Only complaints would be, large class sizes for a small campus (many of my 300 level are over 200 people), inaccessibility (university is pretty far out of town, and parking is rank), and the athletic facilities are pretty terrible (small gym, no pool, no sauna).

Nothing wrong with the units minimal decor as it is a dormitory. I would give it a better rating if the air conditioner worked properly without over powering the tv. We unfortunately got a unit that smelled like bad body odour from a bunch of people who overdosed on spicy food.
