I came from a country that computers are so scarce and rare to find. Having one in every classroom of 40-60 students was a previlage if not the Principal or the Director of the school is an influential person,that can directly affect the outcome of the election in that particular place.... The only thing We can do and give freely and willingly is the TLC that does not require much money and you dont have to be a genius one, All you have to do is demonstrate what TLC is all about... TENDER,LOVING & CARING... How can I help my countrymen in putting computer to every students inside the classroom if i take the HCA? i seek an advice from this college that I cant believe what I've experienced the Faculty and Staff up to the Director they are so very welcoming and all my fears vanished in an instant but when we started our program I felt like quitting already during the first few weeks I then went to the person that i can talk to and air my problem in an instant they gave me a lot of options all of them are good you have to choose whats best option that could work for you and all those struggles i went through were gone and I am happy that I didnt quit because I'm almost there ,They took care of me right from the start untill now they treated me like a family and I did the same thing now I am so proud to tell the world SPROTT SHAW COLLEGE is my family and this is my second home. Campus is clean and easy to locate. Our instructor Mindy is an absolute gem. She is very professional, patient, knowledgeable, and it is really easy to follow the class' discussions when she teaches. She can get the class engaged even when we do it online. If only we can have her as a Lab Instructor too. We have learned so much from her and she always is available for any of our questions. Our class is really lucky to have her.

I recently graduated from Sprott shaw college. I took the ECE Basic course here with instructor Karen Abalos. I learned a lot about ECE by taking classes from her. As an international student, sometimes I had difficulties taking classes in English, but she always gave me positive feedback and encouragement. Also, her classes were so much fun that there was never a dull moment !!! <3 I'm so grateful once again to the miss Karen Abalos who taught me and improve ECE knowledge and skills.

Its been 5 months with sprott shaw in HCA course . the instructor Mindy Thandy is amazing, had great knowledge about what she's teaching, helpful, very good listener, always on time, lots of patient with everything, and always ready to hear any question and cover lots of information in each chapter she go through, and love her reviews all the time :) :) the course is full with lots of details and information, in one side its great to know all this, in the other side your going to spend a decent time than you expected to study and read and consume all the information . more appreciate if there is more lab training , but I think because of COVID there is not enough labs. over all, I am very lucky to have MINDY on board as our instructor highly recommended, she will be missed big time

I am enjoying to study about this course. My instructor is Karen Abalos. She is kind and supportive. And she has a passion to teach. She knows each student well. And she respects the individual personality of each student and offer support for everyone. Her class is always fun. She always offer comfortable envrionment to students. Her explanation of lesson is easy to understand. Because she include her experience story a lot. So students can understand easily. Also for example, when international students met new difficult vocabulary, she changed that to easy words or explain about that vocabulary too. So it easy to understand her class for international students too. I am glad that she is my instructor. I want to learn a lot from her in the future too! Thank you!

At the height of the pandemic I saw it as an opportunity to start my ECE journey and I am so glad that I did! Sprott Shaw College did an amazing job making remote learning seamless, and having graduated last year I find myself to still be using the skills and knowledge that I have acquired over the past couple of years. On top of that, I am incredibly grateful to have Karen Abalos as my teacher throughout my whole journey! There is nothing that I miss more than the amazing classroom environment that she has single-handedly created for me and my classmates. Very nice location, I started my journey with Sprott Shaw at the Seymour Campus but have since moved to Pender location, Karen was my instructor at both locations and I genuinely think that she is one of the reasons I excelled throughout the program. Take your money else where..instructors and the school itself wouldn't teach you properly. They want you you learned an intensive unrealistic amount of material with 4 weeks..instructor that teaches you don't know the material very well..they just memorize the power points so if you ask them for help they won't help you.Safe yourself money stress and unreasonable material to understand for the LPN program. My instructor in this educational institution is exceptional. She goes way beyond in order to assist and accommodate us. She patiently teaches us the modules and she makes sure that she would review with us before and after every quizzes. The course may be challenging but because of the dedication and patience of my instructor-Mindy Thandi, I am more motivated to learn. The first week's class was good. I had a school orientation, and I learned about various school systems with my handbook. My teacher gave me a quiz in the middle of class and allowed me to learn it naturally. It was good because I think I warmed up properly before my major class started.

I canceled my LPN application with this college because they kept changing the start date on me, they could not get enough students into a class and this was a real pain for me as I had to cancel my CSL funding as well and I lost my opportunity to study. Thanx SSCC for messing up my life.

International students Be aware, This school is not eligible for Post Graduation Work permit programs. A College full of crooks, especially the international department . They lure the international students into getting admissions with false and incomplete information just to get the commission money. Beware of Mr. Tarun and Mr. Jashan, managing the International department for Indian students.

Unprofessional, rude, condescending. The director at this campus is a joke. Who speaks to you like your an illiterate person who can’t speak English. Humble yourself. Get off your high horse & maybe actually do your job? The fact that i had to reach out to the school 7x in one week about one incident which also took 3 extra weeks to resolve. Take your $$ elsewhere.
