We've got the information of real people who consume the products and services of Mohawk College (College) in Borden (Canada).
Nowadays the business has a rating of 3.7 over 5 and the rating has been calculated on 127 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is quite high, and it is based on a large number of scores, so we may think that the score is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to put opinions when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This College is classified in the category of College.
Horrible experience with the Photography program at Mohawk. Program had little to no direction, no updated assignments to match the quickly evolving industry. Lots of busy work and under qualified professors. The “work placement” program isn’t an actual work placement. They just leave you undirected to find your own volunteer work to fill hours. Scott is cocky and unwilling to take criticism to better his program. Would not recommend, you would be better off going to Sheridan College for photography, where you actually have access to makeup artists, models and other peers. Edit: I would like to add that the Associate Dean of Mohawk at the time I was a student there was condescending, childish, narcissistic, unintelligent, and incompetent. He is not capable of carrying out his duties and responsibilities. Avoid this school at all costs.
I have taken courses here ????
My wife went into the square student services today august 1 and encountered the rudest women on planet earth. Extremely poor representatives of the school. Made her so upset she left without the paperwork she had requested. Terrible experience.
Average college
Im not part of this college but in short time I will be part of this college....this is one of the great college ever...
Security officials are considerate and professional while admitting visitors
Mohawk College is fantastic!! Today is my first day at the college and every one is so much cooperative! I am looking forward to see the professors as well on the orientation day!!!
Campus is close to home, clean, everyone is friendly
#studentstimematters
I'm currently a student at Mohawk College. The campus is clean and we'll maintained. Near the library there is a beautiful plant wall.
pretty decent
It's aight
My 3 friend son is studying in this mohowk college becouse of them opiniyan I know the truth n what is the real education efort in this college I MEAN IT,::thank C T NIMAVAT
Happy to have gone here. Money well spent!
Very nice college and staf
RUDE PEOPLE WORK HERE, RUDE PEOPLE GO TO SCHOOL HERE......NO DIFFERENT THAN GOING TO WALMART
For a student institution its not student friendly. Everything is so expensive and no free parking. Getting a street parking ticket is cheaper then a mohawk parking ticket.... Nice people and a half decent campus but nothing for entertainment but to get drunk at the cellar.
Great school! Nice facilities. Awesome teachers!
4 stars cause my dad was an instructor here, my partner went here too for his schooling. Was a good school when he was teaching, not sure now since his retirement
The Finance Department need a raise, not only are they thorough they are life saving and caring. I have called and emailed several times due to a crisis I am experiencing and the way they helped me truly compelled me to pay it forward one day. I am so grateful and blessed, this is how customer service and empathy is done.
Great!
Can't I give zero star !?? I am an international student and paid my fees for the whole year and after getting my visas when I registered myself for the course all I got from them was a mail stating the course I was already full. And other programs suggested by them were not even relevant to my field. And now when I call them up and ask for help all I get to hear is choose from the course suggested to you or ask for refund... And this is what I get a week before start date of my program. Poor management, at least inform students well in advance or provide relevant options so that they don't have to waste their whole year.

Student's time matters
One of the best college in Ontario since it provides quality education.
This place is first and foremost, a business. Do not think the college cares about you, they will nickle and dime you for anything they can. Your profs may care but the college does not. "Our parking machine is broken so you have to pay in person? That's an extra fee" "Our parking lot is 'full' for the entire semester, looks like you gotta walk that 30min drive"
I was taking English course and paid for two levels and after I've got some personal problems. So I decided to leave the college after I've finished first level and was about to take the money back , but they refused my request. I gave all the documents I had , but still didn't work out. Whenever I tried to do my best , they kept telling me no. I was even ready to talk with the main person in the college , and what do you think ? Still no, and didn't get any money and was not allowed to talk with anyone. I lose $3 500 to the garbage bin . I put the 1 star only for the really helpful people there. I'm strongly not recommending this college for international students. I really appreciate the teachers there and the people who were on a charge ........
Currently in first year if business, teaches are knowledgeable and friendly. Mohawk students get tons of benefits including health, dental, gym access, bus pass etc
very good
Big College, very safe
I love it here
I had a pretty rad experiences my 3 years at Mohawk. I did computer courses and completed Social service worker program. I found a majority of my professors super supportive. The Accessibility service is amazing and the staff is top notch.
It was amazing.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS READ THIS BEFORE YOU APPLY, Do not pay the application fees UNLESS you have asked about the program you are trying to enroll in is open for international students or not and when. Their website does not state if it is closed or not, and does not mention anything about if the program is not offered for international students. I have paid the fees and applied, but then I got an email from them stating it is not offered in that semester. then sent another email to send me the acceptance letter for the next available semester (As stated on the website and it was updated a day before applying the first and second time). but No they stated it's not offered for INTERNATIONAL students after applying and after they have stated it's not available this semester. If you really wanna go there good luck but I doubt it's nothing but a fraud for international students and want to get their money in anyway possible.

I feel like most of the teachers don’t want to be there
I was enrolled in a 2 year program! Unfortunately I missed out 2 of the courses and I failed 2 courses. I had my study permit which got expired on March 3rd and I was in restoring period in Canada, in the meanwhile I was taking 2 of the courses and paid like 3500$. I had to withdraw from that bse of my study permit issue.. The international Dept refused to give me a refund of my fees
Staying at The Residents and Conference Center. Great staff thanks
WHAT A COLLEGE!! THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY ANY ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SCIENTIS'S DOCUMENTARY BOOK. BUT, THEY HAVE GIANT TRASFORMER , ROTATING MACHINE AND MOTOR.
Great teachers
Loved Mohawk college there are so many nice people at Mohawk college
College never responds to any emergency situations such as documents requested. Awaiting response since 2 weeks.
#studentstimematters
They seem to have trouble with their crosswalks
The nurses were so kind and helpful.
#studentstimematter
Big campus with residence.
Ridiculous parking prices and I literally think those parking patrolers camp out to give at least 1-3 tickets a day to students, even for parking out of lines and to top it of no room for parking, just first serve basis, do they even plan? Any plan for students? They just make students pay but don't even acknowledge them. One time the lot was full and they said park at the mall, there is a city bus. What was the use of a parking pass then? I think a high school student could do better budgeting.Very disorganized staff that blame students and don't take the fault of their own errors, very immature. They take your money and screw students over, they don't tell you when courses are full and people don't have the time to sit around their computers to wait for a call back from their services. Even when my friend paid in full up front online and did not get the course they wanted, so they only give opportunity to some students...my question is ..on what basis do they choose which get to choose their courses online or not? Completely unfair and ridiculous. It's disheartening for students to stress about money on top of their schoolwork. Overall: Unimpressed, disappointed, it is a greedy school, they Don't acknowledge the struggles of those students who aren't rich and can just throw 2, 000 away. And don't have high hopes of getting the courses you want, because most likely they will be full. Complete BS.
Lovely experience with the people
took the media fundamentals program back in 2008. Was a solid experience and was a good stepping stone to get into better University programs. Oh and the pub is great.
Networking Grp ????
One of the best college in Ontario
Bad experiences at this college! I never went here but have taken online courses through my college. This was the second time I took an online course here and was disappointed! I feel the teachers do not really accommodate students as much although, my last previous instructor did give a better hearted effort than the last one. Unless I really need to take a course online through Mohawk I will be avoiding it in the near future!
One of the worst college ever, in aviation the materials are sooo old 10 years old the teachers tolds us half of what we study are way outdated, this college cares only for money, they worship international for their mony they don't care if you want to learn modern and scientific, cheaters always get away with it. So not recommended if you really want to learn BTW one of our instructor said he studied the said subjects in the 60s
Who the Hell designed the layout of this place, M.C. Escher?
It's rip off school All this school want is money Student co-ordinators: so called student advisors are sales men for college and entire goal is make students pay as max they could get out International students don't apply at Mohwak college unless u have useless money to waste....!!!
Money is more important at Mohawk College. Doesn't matter where you come from.
I like this college
#Studentstimematters
A lot of screw ups, course renames, and nickel and diming at this place. General disorganization and lack of sinnergy in-between departments. Very few teachers actually care about you as a student. Avoid it at all costs!
Great college with outstanding support from staff.
I’m writing on behalf of my husband. He bought a simple 50$ course for on-line learning (continued education, not a Mohawk student) and they never initialized the course in spite of hours spent on the phone with them. What a time waste! Very disorganized facility. They were sending him back and forth everywhere, phoning different college numbers trying to figure out who can help. No one. Don’t even bother buying any course from Mohawk.
Students time matters
This is a light 2 stars. I attended Mohawk for about three semesters before I dropped out . I had experienced a very difficult time in my life and I don’t feel like the school “supports” were supportive at all. Why would you tell someone who is grieving to just get over it ? I also had to witness very inappropriate signs along the way of my experience. Not blaming the college at all for the signs , but at least bring more awareness and a no nonsense policy to the people who enter your campus. Overall I was not happy with how my program was delivered. I almost fell out of love with what I wanted to do . I was so distraught that I had to drop out but luckily, I am about to graduate at a different college and I will be moving on to getting my degree.
What is the email address for information from college??
Yeah it is really awesome to get admission in Mohawk the best one college ever
Do not go to this school, I would recommend university or other local colleges over this one. Humber college, Sheridan college or Brock university are other good options. Reaching out for help in this college is hard. Professors do not give the required help needed during the Covid-19 impacted year, some not even offering zoom lectures. No care packages given during covid which was not expected but later realized that almost every other educational institute provided such tools and recourse for their students. Not enough tutoring or student TA’s in any of the programs. Teachers/ professors are VERY hard to reach at this school, sometimes having to send multiple emails on high alert to never respond to.

Not too well
We have to push our son super hard otherwise he end up coming next year and have to spend extra money. Some of the professors were good but generally do not recommend it.
Very bad profs.
Facilities are great, professors are very helpful!
Poor service never pick up the office phones on hold siince 30 min also trying to reach them since week by call and via email . Didnt got any response from them till this date. They cant be that busy to reply.
Very bad experinence on the 1 st day theyjust give u offer letter then when you come to college they say that seats are full .very bad.
You need to have a look on the bottom of the tables where you find chewing gums. Disgusting!
I went to mohawk in 2009-2012. I made great friends and met alot of people. I learned a lot from my program. I had great teachers.
Can anyone please write a review about the heath, wellness, and fitness diploma? I'm trying to make a decision about which fitness program should I join. Thanks!

They treated international student bad and they misleading us
its good

Great faculty
Not happy at all with the site. It was very unprofessional. They sent my life up side down at the covid site
I am supposed to have a mask fit today, and that instructor kept asking me to provide a proof that I finished my online course. I did finish it in few days ago, and I just couldn’t remember my password for MyCanvas. Seriously? Waste my time, and make me so angry today. I think they should have a system to check if a student finish the online courses or not. Today’s experience just made my depression and anxiety worse
I have applied offer letter in Mohawk college even after 25 days i didn't receive any hear back from the college so please can you tell me that in how many days i will receive my acceptance letter
Best college
i hope i study in this place next year
Do NOT waste your money attending this school. I attended one semester of the Pre-Health program, and it was a complete joke. The work load is non existent and when you email a teacher for clarification NO response. I visited a counsellor to help me decide about future programs and she was even less helpful. As for the tutoring, yes its available but only if they have enough staff and IF they can accommodate your schedule. So if your looking for an easy grade sure attend this school but if you actually want to learn something this is not the place.
I went there for 2 years...the building are nice but it is clear they do not care about their studies. You are constantly kicked out of study spaces for other non school related events and during exam time is when they decide to have fire drills and little girls dance recitals....for a school, they do not show any concern for their students at all
Just dropped off media equipment. need to go through security procedures due to covid.
Wonderful

If anyone going to mohawk college for september 2021 can ping me up on instagram for connection id-- __13_navneet
I am giving 0 point form my side. Go to other collages there are good options available. From my personal experience.
Fantastic college, great modern campus, when live classes available, professional kind and experienced Professors, very happy with the applied music classical voice program!
Only been going here for a few weeks but seems pretty good, will update review after I finish this one year program
I have applied offer letter in Mohawk college even after 25 days i didn't receive any hear back from the college so please can you tell me that in how many days i will receive my acceptance letter
business program is a joke. I passed all my classes in my 3rd semester by mabye studying 2 hours before the midterms and exams and not even showing up for any of the classes.
Very nice people. Fast and quality service. Many thanks

anyone here from biotechnology 2 year program ???? i am planning for it !
First year student, and I am already disappointed. No accommodations were provided for students during the one month long strike, one of my professors kept canceled the majority of her classes last semester. School is also very very overcrowded, not enough study spaces for the students here. Library is also not big enough for the students here. Services/food stores close at a very very early time. (6pm-7pm).
can give me a suggestion for interior designing course in this college ?
It's an average community college. Like most community colleges, though, it has programs that focus on actually getting jobs. You can't beat that!
Parking is disguasting! The classes and the professors were nice. but the parking is disguasting expensive and will ruin your experience at mohawk if u drive. if you didnt buy the permit fast enough(they sold out fast but in somehow the permit parking has many parking space). I just think they just want u pay 17 per day or 5 per hour. Sometimes u already paid full day parking but between the class u went home, found out all the vistor parking is full but the reserve parking is empty. if u park there, you will get a 35(up to 50) bucks ticket even you paid the parking n the lot is full n none is using reseve parking. The parking issue made me dont wanna go to school at all. People might say Why no take a bus? sorry what? Why i wanna take 50mins bus or 1h30m in cold winter if i miss the connection bus while its only take me 15 mins to drive??
I have been trying to apply to the OTA/ PTA program and it has been difficult to get my questions answered. I've called the international office multiple times to ask a question about transcripts, and have received no response. I will probably not apply here.
awesome college!!
I am sorry to say that it's a worst behaviour from the collage, not giving any response to the emails, not giving any proper solutions nobody is taking care of students, these people's want's only students money nothing more. because of the management worst behaviour we lost our seat and now these people's are saying that they can't give admission for the required seat.why they are playing with students future. Because of there late response I am unable to do the proper procedure on right time.now iam going to lose my one year.this is cheating.you are responsible.if we are asking some urgent requirements they are giving the reply after 7,8days. And even that also not the right thing.what we have to do.those students who took the admission in your collage is crying, they lost there money and not getting there seat's
idk
my name is Linnea Vollick using my grandmother computer. I have several choice words i would use to describe Mohawk that are very vulgar. Every step to the process of applying to the collage has been screwed up by them and it never fails. I'm so infuriated with this school, and convince they cannot do anything right. My first attempt to apply was revoked by the school without my knowledge. It took me a month and a half to get in contact with someone who knew anything about my situation. Finally found someone that actually had answers instead of sending me to contact someone else. I was told that the wait list was over flowing. Yet their website listed the course as open and the Mohawk home page had an advertisement to apply for that time period... TELL ME HOW THAT MAKES ANY SENSE. So i spent the 95 dollars applying to the only course i was interested to find out i never had any chance of even being looked at to begin with. Finally get my self applied to September 2017 and before i get the chance to pay the sites reads that i have? now i receive an email stating i need to keep track of my application through a program on their site. So they send me a username and passward that is INCORRECT meaning i cant log in to check the status of my application. Honestly don't even want to go to Mohawk any more, more work applying then it would to actually take a course.
Amazing 3 years spent here. Thank you so much Mohawk!
Mohawk College is dedicated to student success through high quality education and a vibrant College community. It is a positive and encouraging environment with a strong focus on inclusion and opportunity, the staff go to great lengths to help students with every aspect of their lives.
So after paying around $3,500 for a business program, I was told for almost each class I had to buy a separate thing online for these courses. These are American companies who get paid by colleges to come up with questions for students to save teachers time. Absolute waste of money, please go to any other college that would actually show interest in something else besides your wallet. All the content that was provided in the course was basically high school level when I took academic so I guess I paid $3,500 to go back to high school. The teachers are very nice but obviously they are because their job is done by another website generating questions for students to work on while the teacher sits back and runs up due dates. I was taking an online program and was told that I must go in to campus this January as thy we're canceling the online version of my program and I do not want to attend campus as I do not have my vaccines and they we're so quick to refund my money and not give me possible options for change. If you wanna spend $3,500 on something for your future do not spend it here, invest in a business or make your own business with that money because you won't learn anything here either. The only reason the school is favourited is because the parties at residency and the on-campus activities available. It also doesn't help when they push all the good reviews to the top so you will probably never see this!
Great college, doing alot of modern renovations
its good
Very very beautiful and so good college. .I will want do study in this college...I will come... mohawk college!.Please wait for me.
I go here. Good school. Books not included in tuition.
Very nice college. Good faculty
Great college for learning.. welcoming staff and friendly environment!
Very bad reviews i am cancelling my intake
2nd Semester @ Mohawk. So far so good. Faculty and staff are great and Helpful. Campus is awesome.. during the winter I never had to walk from building to building. Gym is great. Overall, a very great experience so far and I cant wait to graduate my 3 yr program next december.. since they offer a fast track where we take 6 consecutive semesters . Its tough but well worth it.
just feels like they're taking advantage of students compared to the other college I've attended. teachers don't seem to engage with students or care, the math/phys/science/etc teachers seem to be either part time or teachers that don't seem to care and are just coming for the pay, whilst the courses like 'computer tech' have full time staff that seem to be more than willing to engage in helping you. making it incredibly difficult to engage with teachers on the subjects that would be considered more difficult (since they're part time and don't have as much of a stake in the college). E-learn was hardly used to communicate by math/phys/sci/envr teachers. side note; I think they may care more about international studies because they pay exponentially more to get education here (which to that point, even the amount that international students have to pay for a course compared to myself is insanity and incredibly scummy) cannot in good faith recommend this college to many people, maybe if you're going for a niche course, however I'd stay away if you were thinking of attending this college for engineering.
Week 1 done . Amazing college and good staff
Long story short, I was here for a two year course. I was treated unfairly by the female staff because I'm a full time dad raising a daughter with special needs. Very rude and unprofessional people, dedicated towards ruining the lives of others. Graduated from here with the intention to earn myself better employment, left with stress and more hardship in my life.
For a student institution its not student friendly. Everything is so expensive and no free parking. Getting a street parking ticket is cheaper then a mohawk parking ticket.... Nice people and a half decent campus but nothing for entertainment but to get drunk at the cellar.
I did a full time one year program and it was amazing, I learned a lot while I was there. I am currently doing the continuing education programs Make-up Artistry night classes. I love the classes it works around your schedule and it's a really good price for each course. There shouldn't be any bad reviews since you are being the adult should be not waiting for the teacher to spoon feed you.
Bad school
Sprawling campus in busy mountain neighbourhood. Easy access and parking available
Really good college, good professors, good program choices, etc. Reason I took off one star rating is that the parking is a problem now. The residence streets nearby are getting pissed since students can't afford this expensive parking, also the College doesn't want to ruin it's "LEED green status" if they build more parking, that's the thing, you can't have more students attending the college and have more green status, you can't have both. Since more students = more parking permits, but can't since all get sold out. It would be far more better if it's a first come serve system, for example one student parks just to do a morning class and then leaves, then another student has noon, afternoon and evening classes can come by to park, but the problem is that it can't happen since there's "permits" and spots are all used up or sold out.
I just want to know when the Mohawk college is going to start its processing . It's been like 3 MONTHS since I applied for OFFER LETTER for janary intake.
Good College

One of the bests in Ontario with lots of decent services for students.
Very excellent college
They took all my fees in advance and when I applied for study permit, it was rejected and it took more than two months to return my money plus they also deducted almost $ 700 from fees, it cost almost ₹ 100000 which is equal to annual household expanse in India. Don't go to Canada never ever
Well they reply and process offer letters only for immigration agents there is no response for normal international applicants. College's international academic section sucks, they never reply to emails and dont answer calls. On the other side immigration agents from india gave 100 % surety for offer letter if you go with them. If you apply your own you will get nothing just wastage of time. Its all about the sharing of percentage of commission agents get from college and sharing with their partners. Academic section and agents are running scam ????????????
Best college in HAMILTON!
Got transferred from this college to cchs Scarborough in January and they told that they will transfer the fees in 4 to 6 weeks but till now they didn't transfer it till now. The management is so irresponsible and careless and i did not proper reply from them. The international office members don't give proper guidance if u have any doubts or inquires .did not expect this kind of behavior from them.
Terrible school..They just want screw students and take your money.Took a computer course had to purchase a very over priced book teacher told me to read the book and i will know what to do while she sat in her chair on her phone .Any thing you asked her i was told it was in the book..Wow I could have done that without going to their overpriced courses ..What do you need a teacher for when i just had to read a book. Total waste of money go to a real college elsewhere .And do not park out side of a parking line when their is no parking they are hard up for money their wanna be cops will give you a $50 ticket yet..Beware of this screw the student school . They just want to take your money anyway they can!
Best college, amazingly friendly and supportive teachers!!! But of course you have some that are iffy but 9/10 are amazing! Would highly recommend but encourage to do own research as well at the end of the day it’s just my experience! ????
Hello sir can i ask you some qustion about mohwak collage ?
I wanted to give zero star.... I applied to Mohawk college for Jan. 21 intake but due to visa delay I applied for refund on 7th January. I also mailed college about my refund process and on same day college mailed me on 25 feb. that I didn't fill any webform regarding refund. And it will take more 6 to 8 weeks for process and they will deduct 2200 $. How they can deduct huge amount of money without attending any single lecture.!! Very poor refund policy. I am giving this review so I can highlight this issue.
Technically a public space. But since covid they've remade the campus into a bunker. All entrances are locked except for 2 and you will not be admitted in unless you're a student - even if you're vaccinated. If you're looking to access the food court and grab a coffee, you're out of luck.
this college is best College ever
Best college, amazingly friendly and supportive teachers!!! But of course you have some that are iffy but 9/10 are amazing! Would highly recommend but encourage to do own research as well at the end of the day it’s just my experience! ????
The school is very clean and has many open spaces. I would encourage more seating around hallways and these open spaces though.
I am in Computer Network and Engineering and Security Analyst and the edcation is lackluster and mediocre at best. This is not an opinion rather a fact. The education is all eLearning based so you can do your own thing if you want, however this provides drawbacks for certain students who rely on class lectures and detailed explanations to learn. Most of my teachers are from other countries with accents and very broken english. You also can't count on your teacher for a solid and detailed verbal explanation because they can't speak advanced English. Hardly any one on one experience with the teachers in class even if you are persistent. If you raise your hand they are reluctant to come and instead answer the people blurting out questions at the front of the class. I am in programming (HTML/css and Python) classes and the teachers do not like coming to your screen to help you at all. They stand at the front and dictate and hardly move all class. I once even emailed my teacher and haven't ever received a reply. I asked my teacher for help I notice a lot of unnecessary frustration from my peers due to the laziness of some professors. For example a simple misconception can not be cleared up because the teacher on purpose will ignore you for the entire class. Overall I wouldn't advocate to send your kids to Mohawk. It's not challenging education, more so challenging infrastructure with lackluster education. So yeah I will give mohawk a 2 out of 5 and not a 1 star simply because you atleast manage to hand out diplomas, unmerited diplomas, however its still something I guess.
Excellent place to be
Is there any postgraduate deploma program regarding electronics & communication students?
Proud to be an mohawkian
It is the best over all
the worst mistake i ever made in my life was to go to this school.all they want is your money and they don't care whether you succeed or not.they make life unbearable for you as an international student with threats and stupid policies. i think someone should sue them .they are a rip off and they ain't got any standard at all
????????
Pleasant trip, nice and quick!
Terrible service at international centre.....
#studentstimematters
A very nice college
5th semester software dev and I love it. Faculty is great and the new H wing is awesome. School doesn't feel so old now.
Deciding to go through with the virtual program delivery was an enormous mistake. The faculty is great but this program delivery is absolutely atrocious. MyCanvas was not designed to be used this way and it shows, it is incredibly disorganized and some professors use some features while others don't so it's a guessing game to try and figure out what assignments you have to complete. I was given a time table but instead of having scheduled classes on a consistent basis sometimes classes are scheduled and other times you just get a pre recorded lecture. It honestly feels like I paid thousands in tuition to be teaching myself and it is overwhelming and an awful experience. I am furious that the college saw dollar signs and decided to go through with this dispicable excuse for an education method. They knew they would make money in cutting costs via virtual delivery and that was considered more important that providing a quality education.
Terrible school, where should i begin? - Over priced everything - over crowded - too many terrible teachers - very little concern for students by the college - trying to get help at student services is like trying to walk through a brick wall - admin is cutting back funding to all the hands on portions of pretty well every tech course - poor planning - school doesnt spend money where it should - the whole parking situation is a joke, $600 per year to park, parking security is useless except when it comes to writing tickets, parking lot looks like it was hit by a tornado and earthquake at the same time etc. - as a student, you are nothing more than one of Mohawks funding units Cant stand this place. Only reason im here is that its 15 minutes away from home.
2012 Convocation Ceremony (19 October 12) a proud & dignified event...

Mohawk College is an inclusive and welcoming space to study, to work, and to volunteer. I am grateful everyday for the quality of the education I am receiving. The teachers are passionate about the courses they teach and offer assistance and guidance when required.
Big thanks to all my Business Accounting teacher like Mike Elliott, Miss Carol , Miss Patricia , Miss Monica and all other teachers . I was international student the way they taught I learned everything more practical from them . I started as pizza maker in canada , then I got good financial accounting jobs , then in logistics and many more Industries with in 5 years I came to that spot that now I am getting my own commercial helicopter license. Thanks Mohawk and all my teachers to make my dream come true . There is no words to describe my feelings they support me like my parents in Canada. I am also crying but in happy tears of success and wealth that I got from such a good and great country Canada
Its a one of the famous campus in canada, because of this covid pandemic, students are not allowed to enter their
Hello Foks, honeslty speaking I took "International Business Managment" Program started in sep 2014-2015. it was great experience those 2semesters learned a lot from professors and other teachers. the best of "MOHAWK" is campus, lots of help from faculty, best activity for learning and good teachers that made a complete college. I would like to "BIG THANKS" to college for providing us best education and knowledge to us. Freinds please do not lisen to negetive comments. give a chance to urself and take walk in college and experence it personally. CHEERS TO MOHWAK.....)

Absolutely incredible
This is the best school I have been to! The teachers, the staff, the students! All amazing and all willing to help each other out. I had the best experiences of my life there and will recommend to all family and friends.
I just applied for Falls Section... I'm from Nigeria and I hope to get admitted soonest!!!! I love this college!
I don't know what those negative comments below me are ranting about but Mohawk is a professional college, I have had no problems with at all their staff is all kind and helpful so please don't base your judgements on some lousy comments you will love this college the moment you step in it
OK
!!! SCAMMERS !!! If you get admission in particular course from back home and even you have offer letter from college and CIC approval then also once you land in college they will refuse to give admission in that course by saying that course it'll is already full and there are no more spaces which is embarrassing. They will put you in compulsive situation to select any other courses which is less taken by students OR leave the college. Bogus college in Canada !!
I would not encourage anyone to attend this college. Now I usually don't give one star ratings, but one of the biggest regrets of my life was to enroll myself into this place. The first thing I want to say is that this college is first and foremost a business. Most of the staff and professors here don't care if you learn anything. They are mainly here to take your money. People here want to rip you off. The high parking expenses are ludicrous. The restaurants here are substandard. I actually got sick a few times from eating the food here, which makes me question the food safety practices that these workers are suppose to take. I also noticed they seemed to have more interest in "carnival rides" and entertainment events for some reason. While I'm not against having entertainment at all, however, I feel that they put more emphasis in that than in educational development and academic achievement. This place makes things more difficult than it has to be (for no reason what so ever). It feels like they want you to fail deep down inside, so you can keep attending this place as long as possible and get all the money they want from you until you go broke. I tried to give this place a second chance throughout most of my semesters (hopefully things will change for the better), but I have not seen this happen. Even when I complained about some of my issues, they (some of the staff in the college) seem to brush off my comments and showed no genuine interest in what I had to say. If you want to get a good quality education and something that will boost your career, please save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. I feel sorry for some of the people who had to attend this place.
I have been a virtual Mohawk College for several years. I find it a little confusing when I visit and thought that you would like a little insight before coming. The campus is beautiful.
new joyce building is beautiful
AWESOME SCHOOL. THE STAFF IS EXCELLENT
love this achool , facility is great and the staff are awesome
2012 Convocation Ceremony (19 October 12) a proud & dignified event...
So cheap. Today got an notification that the email is not longer available for guaduated student after Nov this year and only available to staffs and current students. Just so cheap, remind me of the terrible parking experience when i was a student there. There are some really good teacher there, but the school is purely abt getting money not education.
Great Experience
Great school...Am an international student at Mohawk College and I have had wonderful experiences so far. I highly recommend!
Nothing to see. Place was empty
I really like the service they provide, the staff here is always helpful, accessibility service is also great, faculties are awesome - always supportive and friendly nature...
over proced food, very few healthy options. little communication between departments. there is a lack of confidence in the students which isnt very surprising since they let anybody with payment into this school. you would think they would train the professors in properly utilizing elearn BEFORE implementing it across the board. hears hoping that training comes soon.
Ok, so I would like to say, Mohawk College is a good college, I have finished 3 years coding course in this college, and what they taught is new technologies and it is useful. Professors, at my time, they are responsible knowledgable and resourceful. Hardware, sure, yes the hardware of Mohawk college is not the best, but they trying the best to improve them. Plus, the president sometimes are around to check out, which means, they cares. Mohawk is not like some other colleges who will always try to become a "University", and present to students with a big mouth. So, they are concentrated on that college education.

I am a future student of this college. the college made a application called 'I cent' and I need to put my information before go to college and before my enter to Canada. This application is AWFUL. the system does not seem to fit international student. it is showing error, not fillable and very unstable. the college staff is NOT HELPFUL at all. They don't even know about this system well. Especially the Korean staff for international students. It is such a waste of my time. I already regret why I register this college where even they can't make one application stable.
Week 1 done . Amazing college and good staff
The college staff not helpful at all, emailed and called several people and sections about my emergency situation, and its a month after that and still no response!!! This college just want international students money without caring. Thats it
Aswm college..... Simply much attractive
Avoid this school at all costs. I was registered to take the second level of my trades apprenticeship program to begin in January, and Mohawk cancelled the program with less than two weeks notice. I lost over $6000 in rent, and accommodations. I was then registered in the next course available to run late February when again, less than three weeks from the start date Mohawk cancelled the entire course again. For the second time, I am out over $6000 in prepaid accommodations after being told this course would for sure be a go. I’m shocked this is how Mohawk treats tradespeople, especially students. They clearly do not care about the mental health or finances of young people, and are only in it for the money.
Their teachers are great. Love to study here ????

Do you ever answer your phone's? Like ever?
There are so many one star reviews I think that's hilarious
NEEDS MORE SEATING!! There's not even a 5th of the amount of free seating the school needs for the amount of students it has; I spend 20 minutes just looking for somewhere to sit and eat.
Amazing ?????
The best college in the GTHA for 6 years in a row
Mohawk is my real home where I have found myself as an individual. It had given me a second chance to re explore my capabilities and turn them to work in my favour. If you are interested in a real and well established basis in Accounting before gearing towards university or pursuit of CPA or ACAF then 135 Fennell Avenue West is your destination.
This is a great place to start and reinvent your career. The infrastructure is splendid and the teaching staff is experienced, knowledgeable and very friendly. There are so many different activities going on like cultural events, sports, technical events, etc. The training Courses provided are world class and extremely well designed to leverage learner brains.A great place to grow and share knowledge.
Pretty good experience for the first semester
Fraction of the cost of University with a higher chance of employment in my field.
not so good .the staff are very rude and not friendly .
International staff doesn't provide enough information.
I already applied for September 2020 , please let me know that how much time it will take for Letter Of Acceptance (LOA). Thank you .
There is a reason why it is known as "Slow-hawk".....ugly campus as well
Great school, staff is alright
This review is to recognize John F who works at the campus bookstore. I received a damaged item when I ordered from the bookstore online, but John went the extra mile in helping me exchange damaged item. He literally working off-the-clock just to help me get the item I ordered. Thanks for the hard work John, I really appreciate it!
Ah mohawk college the place that has apparently "improved" over the years. If impovement is effectively having staff who treat people as meat on the grill when the restaurant is 5 minutes from closing then yeah. The staff at the square seem more caring about ending there shift then they are about getting the next generation started.
I've gone twice, (2 x2yr programs) both times to try and improve my employment opportunities, and ended up at a call centre. The school is acceptable in terms in infrastructure. There are few healthy food options. They really do nickel and dime you for every little thing, and the survey we're expecting to take (post secondary ratings with other colleges and universities) is a joke, they make us watch videos that basically say if we give low marks to the school our diplomas are worth less. Some teachers are amazing, passionate, involved and actually care. Many are not. Its a crap shoot as to which kind you'll get course by course. I met some great friends there, ended up with $40000 in OSAP debt, and learned a little. My final point would be to say that some programs are over filled, so many people trained to do the same thing and all looking for work in the nearby area has destroyed any competition, there are no jobs left, to the point that teachers cant find you anywhere to work for your on the job training-literally they cant someone who will take you for 2 weeks of free labour.
From what I could see and encounter, this is an awesome place and school to study. The layout is strategic, the staff - professor and the City - bustling. If you want to study, yet feel alive, this is the place to be!
good teachers
This is the worst school ever. Please do not give your money to these people!! Disgusting.
There is a sense of ease to the place encompassing everything!
Student Accessibility is amazing, but some of the instructors seem dated in their knowledge or in some cases unwilling to teach material from this millennium. Which is troubling since I was in the programming course, since technology is obsolete within 6 months- 1 year. Some professors care and some stick around to stay on the sunshine list.
Poor college service.

Best post secondary experience ever. Will always cherish the memories with greats profs and friends. The environment is amazing with plenty services. Msa is a great student association too, Very active. I'm in university now and soon too be masters, and can still say uni doesn't top this school.
My younger sister is an international student at this school. The administration is NOT empathetic to the needs of international students and appears to not care about their success. Mind you they pay more money per class and get the least amount of support. She can not even get a straight answer about who her advisor is or how to declare a major. Even the people at the international office have no clue about what is going on.
Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology is a public college of applied arts and technology located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. It has three main campuses: the Fennell Campus on the Hamilton Mountain, the Stoney Creek Campus in Stoney Creek, and the Mohawk-McMaster Institute for Applied Health Sciences at McMaster University. As of 2014 more than 1000 faculty instruct roughly 12,500 full-time students, 4,000 apprentices, 46,000 continuing education registrants and 1,800 international students studying in more than 130 post-secondary and apprenticeship programs. Since its founding in 1966, over 115,000 students have graduated from Mohawk College.
Their student services is a complete joke. Run by a bunch of 30 somthing females who blame students for things and dont actually do their job. You basically wait 30 mins at the square to be told that YOU need to go fix your problem. I've been a student here for 1 year and its already a worse experience then my 4 years at Conestoga. I did 1 summer course at Seneca college and their services were infinitely better and I wasnt even a full time student.
Not only will they lie to you the whole time you're there in regards to your classes, assignments, and placement, but they expect you to extend grace to teachers that teachers will never extend to you. I am about to graduate from their nursing program and have had 1 truly nice teacher in total. All information received is last second and by that I mean each time I started clinical placement I wasn't told where to go until the night before, morning of, or 2 days after placement was supposed to start, there was absolutely no communication. Don't even get me stated on the 'help' they offer in student services, they will waste hours of your time on purpose. I dont know if other colleges are the same but knowing how Mohawk treats its students I would never come back and I'm happy there is no graduation ceremony as I am in no way proud of having graduated from here.
I love it here
spend excellent time at Mohawk college 2 years.....great memories great place
Amazing school
Great school...Am an international student at Mohawk College and I have had wonderful experiences so far. I highly recommend!
Not bad but definitely not the best college for Aviation but hopefully I graduated on time and got a job in my own field. You have to push yourself super hard otherwise you end up coming next year and have to spend extra money. Some of the professors were awesome ???? but some don’t care at all.
With the way the economy is now it's not worth going to college these days.
This place is terrible. If you apply here they can mess up your application and kick you out of school right before the start of your semester and do nothing to help you. All the help did was say "Thats to bad".
International student think it twice before apply in this college, they don't care about you they only care about the money.
Mohawk College. Not as morally great as you expect. Pop up under community College results. This is more a adult daycare for children then it is a way to get a leg up in the world. Lovely setting tho
Playing with student's future. I secured my seat for May and then had to defer in September. Now the only exception Mohawk is saying without full study permit I can not study online. If government is allowing all colleges are agreeing what is the point then.
Best place to study in Hamilton
I applied to Mohawk college for Jan. 21 intake but due to visa delay I applied for refund on 7th January. I also mailed college about my refund process and on same day college mailed me on 25 feb. that I didn't fill any webform regarding refund. And it will take more 6 to 8 weeks for process and they will deduct 2200 $. How they can deduct huge amount of money without attending any single lecture.!! Very poor refund policy. I am giving this review so I can highlight this issue.
I personally wouldn't recommend this school.
Mandatory vaccine to attend. Pound Salt.

Don't bother if you want the hands on experience colleges are supposed to provide. They knew full well of covid, as I applied for January 2020 classes. I knew most would be online but the in person labs and classes would remain. False. Everything is now online. How will I mix concrete over the computer screen? How will I learn to survey and never touch the machine. Teachers have pre-recorded videos and checked out. Do not apply here.
Covid vacc for Debbie í was so nervous she was à trooper I am so proud of her
Great course for ESL students. after language course smoothly enter the major.
Awful experience with the architectural technology program. Most of the professors in the architecture/building science department have little knowledge of what they are teaching. Do not make the same mistake I did if you are looking into one of these programs and choose a different school.
Nice space for éducation
Great School for Engineering
It is splendid. The campus is state of the art, designed intelligently and is quite spacious. The faculty do their very best to help you out. There are a myriad of services and supports to take advantage of and access isn't difficult. I'm loving my experience so far.
I've gone to this school a couple of times and they do offer good education. Most of the teachers I have had have been friendly and knowledgeable, with a few exceptions lol. Dealing with OSAP can be frustrating but it's not really the college's fault, it's a joint effort lol.
I don't take this review lightly, and it's with great disappointment that I urge people to read my review, and absorb my negative experience to their benefit. I am currently enrolled in a program that requires a set amount of field placement hours. My graduation is contingent upon me completing these hours. I am one month away from finishing my 4th semester and Mohawk College failed to find me a field placement. I will not be graduating, and my $20,000 spent on this program has been wasted. Now, before I simply blame Mohawk College for not being able to find me a field placement, there is more information that needs to be provided. We were told by my program coordinator that students are under no circumstances allowed to find their own placement. Students are not allowed to send resumes to and hiring firms. All resumes must be sent through Mohawk College, and if we obtain our own placement without Mohawk College's blessing, it will be taken away from us and given to another student. I hope that now, my frustration with Mohawk College is completely justified and transparent. My resume was sent to approximately 5 or 6 hiring firms that were willing to accept students. The college didn't actually attempt to find me a field placement, they simply sent 10-20 resumes to these hiring firms, and the hiring firms "cherry picked" the students they wanted. I received absolutely no follow up from any of these firms or from Mohawk College to inform me that I was not selected or was not successful in obtaining a field placement. The hiring firms did not conduct interviews, they simply picked the names of the people they thought would be the most attractive, and selected them for field placement. The last straw for me was in a class, a student publicly informed the chat that they wanted to stay in their field placement for longer than the required hours, and simply "not inform" the college that he was finished. If I can provide some context, the students who were unlucky enough to not be selected for a placement were encouraged and informed "When students finish their placement, they will be completed and the hiring firms will take on a new round of students" That seemed more than fair to me, so I was happy to restrain from frustration. Now when this student told our class that he wanted to under-claim the amount of hours he had completed, the response from our professor was "What a great way to go above any beyond". And to make matters more devastating, the professor who endorsed that idea is a field placement host. In summary, I completed all of the required courses with an average above 80%, I was on the deans honour role in my first semester, and I failed to graduate from Mohawk College after spending $20,000 and a year of my time on a two-year diploma program. I strongly advise you readers, to stay as far as you can from Mohawk College. They will happily take your tuition and fail to fulfill their duty to you.
Large campus with lots of labs and small classrooms (most wont hold more than 100 students at a time) and terrible organization for students to be able to sit down and work and a computer but other than that, the new Gym is quite nice and the renovated food court has some great spots. All in all really clean and lately it's been updating the interior look which is quite pleasing to the eye.
I am giving 0 point form my side. Go to other collages there are good options available. From my personal experience.
I love the campus and staff participate in obvious visual measures against COVID-19 which is reassuring, admin staff were largely friendly if quite busy. However... Beware of parking services. In the five to ten minutes between parking and entering a campus building to sign in and request access to Wi-Fi so I could download HONK! and purchase parking I was ticketed 35$. Thankfully their appeal process is reasonable and done through a department on the campus itself as opposed to by the city and took only two days before I received a response which cleared the ticket for me. *You are given five days to pay the ticket and you are also told that it could take the same amount of time for a response to your appeal request.
the best college in the world.....according to me, all the people here are very welcoming and friendly....and all are awesome and i have to add that everybody here looks like a supermodel.
I am a future student of Mohawk college , I got offer letter in September 2020 and they told us that we can start online course as we can not come to Canada because of COVID, considering them I paid my fees and before September I had my AIP and they came up with a twist in the story that in my course labs are mandatory so I was not allowed to start the online program. They purposely informed us after the fees is paid so we can not change our decision. It is just a business not a school they don't care about student's future and money. Now they are not giving me 15 days extension even and forcing me to defer my intake. Nobody is replying your email or phone. I am regretting my decision to choose mohawk college .
average school
They using a student. And they care about money more than student this is business not school (this is the place where you lose money without getting knowledge). Ready before APPLY.
Fantastic instructors and real world practical assignment. As a student in Mechanical Engineer technology , this school has well prepared me for the working world.
No concern fir student's future. We are waiting from January. They're asking us to defer again for January 2021. #studentstimematters You just can not decide one day if you don't wanna follow the rules of Canadaian Government and make your own rules. Avail online classes on the basis of partial permit. It's our right.
Waste of money. Police Foundation program is a joke. Those who are coming this year, do not go into P.F.!
Worst college I have EVER attended! The teachers rarely tell you what your suppose to do so you're left guessing what you need to do for the assignment. Teachers don't show up to the class half the time and they force you to buy the textbooks they NEVER use but you need it for a code inside to do 2-4 minor assignments worth 5% of grade. I was put in the wrong math class and then told I need to pay 300$ more and they will put me in the right class? I'm so beyond appalled at how terrible this college is! I'm so sad I moved all the way here for poor service and a lack of GOOD teaching. I'm sure there are some good teachers but all of them but Craig Cooke (Math) so far in the G.A.S program are horrid! I was going to spend 28,000$ at this college... now I'll be taking my money else where! I would go to ANY other college than this one.
Safety protocols in place.
If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Here are some of the following reason -Teachers do not care whatsoever about the students; all they care about is the money. -I can't even count how many times I have had classes cancelled and no reschedule of them ( also class time being change all the time with last min notice ) - You can never get a hold of anyone from the college itself, so trying to get the help you need is near impossible. -Good luck on trying to get the help you are on your own. most teachers will not answer your emails, and when you ask in class about it, they will just avoid it - Also, never taking complaints about teachers seriously If you are thinking about applying to Mohawk college, I hope you read all of these reviews and think about your choices again. There are much better colleges out there that will treat you with respect and have teachers that care about you.
Too many expenses(parking pass, books/uniforms and fines for smoking/ parking) and with all the money you pay most of your learning in done online with elearn.
Not professional teacher and staff to help student .All they care about is the money. I wish give them zero but no option.
(Translated) Bas mein a rahi han (Original) Bas mein a rahi han
If I could give this no stars then I would. Not worth the money. You’re better off at McMaster or University of Toronto or something else. The staff can be very disorganized and unhelpful. The help centre was confusing and The Presto Card was a nightmare to activate. Tried to explain my situation but the MSA couldn’t help me and kept Saying I had to call Presto themselves. Gee thanks for helping! I had to take a Communication Course and the teacher promised that she would reply to ALL emails within 24 hours. I sent her at least two and I never got a reply back. I fell behind and she was never there when I tried calling her. Several courses literally felt like they were holding her hand to do something that you could do in your own free time. Parking is annoying and the food can be so expensive. Several electives in my course seemed pretty useless. Lots of money wasted on “mandatory” textbooks that I rarely used. Again NOT worth your time or money.
Very vey bad bad school. My program CICE is the worse some staff and some staff coordinadors trying to fight with me with no reason and there bad now. Recommended not to come back here and not come here in september
i hope i study in this place next year
Best 3 years ever. Excellent program
A very nice and modern campus
GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE IN 1998. LOOKING FORWARD TO VISITING SOON
Did the pre health program 2014-2015, they make a lot of promises and don't stick to any of them. Have had many issues with getting them on the phone, getting tuition reimbursement, getting in contact with program coordinators. School campus is nice but that is the only good thing I have to say about Mohawk College, very glad to be out of there.
They are super helpful and caring. I am student in another college but because i failed in one course and my college was not offering it any sooner than 6 months. Therefore, i sent emails to several colleges and this was the college which i felt that really cared about my email and got back to me the next and provided all the details i needed. Best support i ever recieved for anybody in Canada . Specially, i thank Paula Golding and Karen bacher.
Best College with excellent infrastructure and professors are like Google. . . Knows everything. . . Except some. . Lol. . Exceptions are always there. .
Very lovly place to spend time and learn.
excellent horseback riding
This place is just a business not an educational institution
A very accommodating college.
aethe ee aa apa v... best college
I would put 0 star if google make this option. English teachers has no experience they make lots of grammar mistakes and some of them don’t know why they are teaching !! Good teachers doesn’t have enough hours !! Very interesting school $$$$
So much has changed since my years as a student and employee it's so lovely to see the advancements Mohawk talks about how Innovative it has become and it's truly standing up to it promises
Excellent facility... Clean, friendly.
This is my second time attending this college, when I attended years ago it was a very different experience. The school held many events, frosh week was always a blast, the campus is massive, free gym membership on campus, and they have great selection of food, downside was parking was usually a nightmare. This year is a bit different, with classes online its a bit hectic, confusing and I knew it would be. In my course the professors are very supportive, the layout is making a bit more sense each day, the it department have been fantastic. One thing I will say is that it can be a bit difficult to get some answers from certain departments, but my course professors are doing a great job so far!
Best college
It's a beautiful college with really good teachers. Furthermore, the blended learning that they use is an amazing tool which complement all the contents.
1 star based on accommodating people with disabilities. The Accessibility office grants you extra time but, professors will use the UDL time loophole to deny giving extra time to students for exams or midterms. Mohawk isnt a college that supports disabled students.
#studentstimematter
I am writing this review on behalf of a mother of a potential applicant who had a bad experience with the college " I had contacted the college back in December 2020 to inquire about admissions at the college for English program for my son who will be finishing high school in Qatar in June 2021. I was connected with some who is responsible of Arab speaking countries, however, she does not speak a single word in Arabic which we weren't able to communicate with her and get the information we need. She sent us an email in Arabic after a back and forth emails in English and we had to wait for someone who speak English to translate for us. Unfortunately that was quite a challenge for us specially the information she sent was clearly Google translated which was inaccurate. Over all it was a bad experience and we ended up finding a college called Centennial where we recieved an amazing assistance by a staff member who speaks Arabic fluently. I would never recommend Mohawk College to anyone who speaks Arabic and trying to study English in Canada because they will not get the assistance they need. Name: Amira Ali Almahi Son's name: Mohammed

Newest update(covid-19l I have graduated and was finally able to finish my last portion of online classes due to covid. Thankfull to all teachers and friends. Had a very good Tim's there and now I'm working at ford aiming to start my apprenticeship . UPDATED/EDITED: so first semester has came to an end and it's been 4 months that I have been attending this school, everything has been great. My relationship with my teachers is amazing I talk to them and they talk to me with respect and friendly manner. I recommend Mr.Joe Mihalic, Mr. David Currie, and Mr.Ryan Shah for the motive power program as those teachers helped me when I needed help and were always there to help me understand more about any question I had. Great semester overall! Just started first semester 2 weeks ago, I'm in the Motive Power Technician program it's so far very good. Teachers are great and a huge school with so many facilities I need a huge list to go through everything. Parking lot is huge too I bought a Parking permit for the whole semester for 280$. Will update this post by end of acedamic year.
Great school lots of things to do and many areas to study and do work :D
Please do not think about applying to this college. After arriving in Toronto I was informed by the staff that my course is not longer available and told me to choose a different course. The staff was less than helpful. Contacted them everyday for over a week and the only response I got was that someone will call me back the next day. This cost me a lot of money like any other international student and alot of time was wasted along with the entire stress from this situation causing my anxiety to increase alot more. Make sure you only contact them via email so you have evidence of all they say to you and I have already filed a complain against the college.
Great school, great staff, clean. Only issue, super busy
Do yourself a favour and don't go here! Go anywhere else, this place is just designed to fleece you of your time and money and then tell you "too bad" when they mess up your records and kick you out the door.
Great school. Always well organised with student events, and the profs always take the extra step for their students.
Amazing College!
Efficient, friendly and safe
Edit: have lowered my rating to 1 star from 2 stars. I have tried to contact the financial office several times and was told I'd receive a call back about my reimbursement costs. Never did. They're reply below is useless. Good luck with this school, all! Wouldn't enroll in the PSW government funded course. There are several course requirements which you are to pay for yourself and will supposedly get reimbursed for, but nobody answers about when you'll be reimbursed, if ever. There's also a rule requiring you pay back your books if you drop the course, even though the government program has already funded them. You have no idea ahead of time where the possibility of your placement is. If you miss the in person lab, there's no rescheduling, even though you're supposed to stay home if you feel any symptom according to covid policy.
Ripping people off. Ripped my niece of $12000 and wasted her 1 year. She had to switch the college cos after u pay them no one listens to u but start harassing you..
Don't waste yo money(highly expensive) n time they are nthng more than sales guy don't get roasted....
Big and good college
I have always had issues with Mohawk College- from giving two student ID numbers, to emailing my tuition fees to an old unused email account. They don’t offer support or help. I guess I’m stupid for going back Mohawk again and again. Most recently, my issue with Mohawk College is their employment service centre. I reached out to them for information and help in finding a job. One of their employment consultants emailed me a job lead that turned out to be fraudulent. I trusted Mohawk fully, I assumed they knew what they were doing. I thought they would check the employers posting jobs on their board, not just background checks but they could have called them or something making sure the job post is legitimate. DON’T USE THIS SERVICE- save yourself the headache.
Completely disorganized and everything has become asynchronous (teachers post stuff and you're on your own). Don't apply here if you want hands-on experience. Do apply here if you want a brutally sub-par learning experience, with teachers having no idea what's going on and schedules that are changing day to day. They only care about your money, not you.
Not bad but definitely not the best college for Aviation but hopefully I graduated on time and got a job in my own field. You have to push yourself super hard otherwise you end up coming next year and have to spend extra money. Some of the professors were awesome ???? but some don’t care at all.
They accommodate my learning disabilities excellently, and I cannot stress how good the staff is!
I applied to Mohawk collage for Jan. 21 intake but due to visa delay I applied for refund on 7th January. However collage mailed me on 25 feb. that I didn't fill any webform regarding refund. And it will take more 6 to 8 weeks for process and they will deduct 2200 $. How they can deduct huge amount of money without attending any single lecture.!! Very poor refund policy.
Excellent educational platform
Professors not the best
I was enrolled in gas technician course of the winter last year i understand covid was difficult for all of us but the lack of communication and last minute cancellations/changes have finally pushed me to the edge. It has impacted my career and id advise anyone to try and attend a different college if possible because mohawk has proven to me that they did not care about me as a student.
The worse place in the world. They don’t deserve any star.Stupid registration staff , the don’t understand what is someone saying.
Aman doraha from punjab
Excellent vacuum cleaner of your money!
Keep calling me 2 years after I graduated trying to ask me survey questions when I dont want to talk to them, they still keep calling. Many times several times a day. Pathetic.
