Nice
poor management
It's calm good learning environment. Very friendly.
awsome
Eight people in my firefighting program, accepted, than suddenly one week before program to begin. Told we made errors in payment structure and were bumped to waiting list. We accepted in May , paid tuition in June and subsequently leased housing for the year to find out suddenly we were not in program in Sept? NO one to answer questions or help us ?. Covid has been horrible enough , finally excited to start fresh and enter into field and study of my dreams only to have it ripped out at the last minute. Most of students also had student loans and NOW have government debt to be repaid with nothing to show for it . A mistake was made. But when same mistake was made by eight people , the information WASNT CLEAR!! There are several devoted students with not a word of guidance or assistance from Fleming to transition from high school into college post covid year. Fleming has lost both my business and respect. Kids have suffered enough this past few years. This was a horrendous experience. Whats worse is there was a chat room of all firefighting service students. The ones that were bumped are devastated and their peers replacing them the program are all in one group. Thank goodness I was accepted elsewhere. I will not be reapplying for next program. I hope others who read this stay clear of this dysfunctional and cruel treatment of young students and I pray that FLEMING grasps this is a difficult enough transition. I am new to college, I had not even started and I did make a mistake. Im human. There is such a thing as a phone. The error could have been rectified in as little as 30 seconds. Instead you devastate eight families and take away what little hope we had left for better days ahead. Its just MEAN !! I'm never one to write a bad review , but when speaking to main help line - I was told this happens every year ?? WHAT - How is this ok ? This is horrendous treatment and yet you continue to do it every year ........ rather than trying to aid your new students to success. This is ABUSIVE !! I certainly wish I knew before, hoping my review will help the next student, so they will not have to go through what we did. APPLY ELSEWHERE !!!

I started at Fleming this January, 2020. I’ve only had fantastic interactions with the staff. The faculty in my program is excellent, facilities are great and the student body is composed of a seemingly open-minded and multicultural group. Students at Fleming also have access to the Peterborough Wellness Centre, ride the bus for free and are included into a fairly good health plan.
Spent 2 years there in WIN program. Not getting any job after study.Wasted 32000$ for course. They don't care about future. Now , i am registered in unemployment centers so that I can get jobs.Do not come and easte your money in win,Ibm,gbm,pm courses.Useless college and poor city.
Beautiful sight.
It is a collage
My first Fleming experience occurred when my aunt brought me (a young child at the time) into one of her classes to be interviewed for a class demonstration. The experience was profoundly influential to my development, and reinforced my already strong love of learning. Fast forward 30 years to the present day, and I'm now a professor at the college; a big-kid at heart who still loves learning. (Not a professor here anymore, but the warm sentiment is still there).
Loved my three years at Fleming! Awesome faculty and the facilities just got upgraded to world class status.
Best college
I was in the welding program for a year and a half. I was the only female in the program. I was harassed from the first day, and didn't stop until the day they forced me to drop out. I guess they dont like females in this field. DO NOT go here for the trades, they will do the same to you. I complained and was treated even worse. Bullying at its worst. Go anywhere else. They don't care about you, only your money.
Vdry nice method in order to remember him
Good place to walk in good weather
I went here back in 98 and had a great time during my few years of study. Lots of great staff and profs. I later returned last year to take part in the applied projects that last year students take part in to get some real like experience. Staff is still as good as ever. Very happy to also see the school has become very multicultural in the last 2 decades.
An okay college. There are both good and bad faculty members. Not very many subjects to choose from comparatively to other colleges I had looked into. This college, however, was most convenient for me as it was closest to where I was living. It is a good environment. Food on site is available before class.
Great college and campus to study at????
Great colege bt lack of facilities
Awesome
The only thing keeping this school alive is International students, It feels like your in another country when you enter the doors of that school; I would say that at least 60% of the school is made up of Indian students. The school is rather small and the hallways are quite narrow in my opinion. One thing that is rather annoying is the washrooms here in certain areas, for example on one floor there is only one gender bathroom and you must go up or down a level to find a washroom for yourself. There are no real lounges to be able to relax and chill unlike other schools. Just like any school there are good and bad faculty members. In the end I would say the best part of this school is the food (that they sadly close during the summer semester).
The administration team is beyond useless!! Don't return calls and will not answer questions. Really disappointed in the school commitment to the students
Worst college I have ever been to, I graduated from this college in 2019 and I still have not gotten my degree. No replies of emails no call backs worst experience ever with an institute I have ever had. To anyone reading this save yourself a lot of money and trouble and do not get admitted in this college.
Fleming GDV program is excellent. I’ve learnt quite the bit in just the first month and a half and met many great friends. Students in the course have lots of resources in the studio. The teachers are often stressed from the slack they have to put up with elsewhere but we as students tend to comprehend the bigger picture, given the course we’re taking. Fleming has made me feel very at home here in Peterborough as I’m still new to the city from Toronto, and I’m excited for what’s to come.
What I experienced here was beautiful, I've learnt even more indigenous teachings and I was able to connect more with my ancestors and my indigenous roots. If you're going to this college and your gonna take the indigenous studies course THEN DO IT. I will be forever grateful to the people I meet here. Miigwech to Kylie the indigenous assistant manager. And to her husband. I hope our paths cross again. Miss you all already ♥️
Fleming has Few good and promising programs to offer. It has good chunk of amazing faculty member who often share a positive and interactive bond with students. Even though it has lesser students than many other colleges in Ontario, it comes up as crowded because of improper arrangements and in-construction 'A block' from over a year. It has some of the worst administrative staff you'd encounter ever. They seem to hate their job and still continue with it because of paycheck. Irresponsive and irresponsible which takes your college experience towards negative zone. Tim horton closes before 50% of the students are done with their daily classes. There's no point emailing or calling up administrative office in general.

good
Clown college, most teachers are good and are very knowledgable, but the others either don't care or don't know what they're talking about, one teacher would go off topic for 45 min (about fish walking on land for example, that happened) or teachers would show up late 10- 15 min almost every class. Not to mention if you do a compressed course and live in the residence, be prepared to be evicted at the end of the summer because you don't actually hold full time status on compressed courses. If you can deal with all the bs you will walk away with a piece of paper that will get you a job, but many many times I've questioned if its worth the thousands I'm paying for.
Good experience
This place need heater bus station because this is 2nd terminal , there is bus station is open door so all people are filling very cold for the waiting bus
Great school to attend, many options to choose from and can choose from many hands on learning options as well.
Missing this college ????????
Been a student here for over a year, every other student I've spoken to has agreed when I say, this school has most useless staff (inducing residence staff)I've ever encountered. Incredibly rude, and arrogant.
Great school, beautiful building, kind and intelligent teachers. For the most part anyways.
Hello! I want to gather information about Early Child Care Programme of this college? Also, are part-time jobs available near by?
I'm coming in this college , 8
This school has to have the most incompetent Office staff I've ever seen. Just zero communication between staff to fix any issues or communication with student (such as hey, you submitted this form, you also need this done). They just don't care, and it was absolutely disgusting to be in the office and hearing one of the staff tell someone needing something like a transcript (I forget what it was) from them "sorry we only help people coming to the school, we have no interest in helping someone not enrolled", basically if you're not giving them money they could care less. Absolutely disgusting.
Stop protesting and get. Back to work. Just be happy you actually have a job
Corrupt practises in admission office. I am an international student. I send numerous mails regarding my admission. They haven't replied yet. They are not even answering my calls when i give them the reference number. Horrible college. I will surely file a case once i reach Canada. I advise all international students to be cautious with admission office.
Went there in the 90's. A lot has improved since then. An important part of Peterborough's culture and one of our biggest employers
Facilities, Faculty and academic wise its great, but fees are high when compared to other colleges in general. Academic integrity is taken very seriously.
Beautiful place to explore your horizons...
Never regretted anything more than attending this college, dropped out in my forth week. Paid thousands just for them to hand me a book (which costs extra) and tell me to teach myself. Absolutely atrocious institution.
The best treatment and joy

poor
I love my college. My teachers make me feel proud to be a part of that college.
I understand that this school semester is online but it has been brutal trying to get in contact with anyone at this school. You can only email and sometimes you don't get a response or it takes days. Very frustrating
Any one please share about the availability of part time jobs near college, anyone planning for may intake to this college please message me .my insta I'd is adarsh_ab13.
Amazing and supportive staff
The College does not have enough seating for how many students are attending this school. The front entrance has some seating however it always gets taken away for events, and sometimes the cafe seating gets taken away for other events . Leaving students no where to sit. The college has no quiet areas to work either, you can go to the library if you are lucky to get a spot but most of the time that doesn't happen. it turns into you running around the school trying to find a table to do homework at, and most areas don't have a plug for you to charge your laptop, so if the battery dies you will have to find somewhere else to sit. If you go to the basement it is loud because everything echos and a room that is down there makes the loudest sound.
Best place for studies. Professional and friendly faculties.

My daughter attends ssfc. Lately she has been telling us how unsafe and intimidating the school has become due to groups of men blocking stairwells and doorways, forcing her into uncomfortably close passings by leading to "accidental" touches. I am disgusted by this. Hopefully this will be adressed soon. I am going to continue bringing this to the schools attention, and documenting such actions, as shaming institutions seems to be the way to make change in 2018. shame on you fleming. Your security guards can verify my statements.
They treat you like you are the only person who matters. The college tour was enjoyable and the hostess were helpful in answering all our questions.
If you are an international student and you want to work part time along with studies (20hrs) please do not come to this college because it is really hard to get job in peterborough city;which is the second largest jobless city in canada. If you want any proof please search in google. before taking admission in this college please talk with at least 5 international student and if 2 out of 5 have job in peterborough take admission in Fleming college so that you do not have to regret about it later on. college is big but the staff at the registration office are so rude they takes long time.
Amazing and supportive staff
Don't go.... Worst college of Ontario You would regret your decision for whole life. Especially business course..
Worst staff you'll ever see. They don't reply to your email or pick your calls. They don't even care. International students please don't waste your 7-8k $ per semester on this college not worth it.
Worst school in history...no plans on deck for international student..rude staffs...useless city peterborough l, had to switch to mohawk college, hamilton after 1year in this miserable school.
Corrupt practises in admission office. I am an international student. I send numerous mails regarding my admission. They haven't replied yet. They are not even answering my calls when i give them the reference number. Horrible college. I will surely file a case once i reach Canada. For international students no job here for part time ,higher fee, accommodation problem.
Good college
Is it easy to get job overthere during study period
A fine college in a finer small city granted as with most educational institutions a fair amount of what one learns is of little use unless one choices to distinguish oneself and raise through the professional ranks. Even so the professors are pretty good, the counselors are excellent, and the academic advisors are excellent as well.
They Fixed a lot of things from past I guess
Great college, great new additions, teachers are very nice always there to help, a huge rugby school, recommend everyone and anyone to go
How is the biotechnology program in this college? Please comment
This "college" is garbage. Too many rude, disruptive, cheating and non English speaking international students who don't even care for learning. The professors have questionable education backgrounds and do not know how to teach. More often than not I am teaching myself the material. This school is garbage you will make no friends here since no one speaks English. This college experience is something that I cannot wait to get past. Which is a shame since it should be memorable. If I do have one positive thing to say it would be that their co-op program and team is really good. They genuinely care and are always more than happy to help you in your job search. Besides them everyone else can take a hike.
Nice campus, kinda small. Lots of stairs from one end to the other. Small cafeteria. Some of the school is old and some of it is brand new. So its a funny mix walking around.
Trying to apply has been a nightmare. I am doubtful if I will attend, because by the time someone finally listened to me and figured out the issue (on their end) the course I wanted was waitlisted! I am not impressed!
Right where is was shown on the map. Gotta love when that happens.
Bad service. Refund policies vague
Most of the thinks I like
if you love pindar and his whole family

Wow, good college to study in canada...
I rate 5 bcz my brother is going to study there Divyang ahir. I love u bhai . ???? Mere dill ki duwa he tu bahoot successful ho.
Worst college and too irresponsible staff. Better to find another college.
Nice college.
I have no complaints about the quality of education at Fleming - it's the infrastructure that's a problem. No matter where you go in the school, you can always be sure of one thing: there WILL be a group of 10+ idiots standing right above, right below, or in the middle of the stairs, blocking the way. This is such a pervasive and huge problem. Moving through the school is a big issue, because there are always people blocking the stairs! I'm not sure how this problem could be addressed, but it NEEDS to be addressed. Perhaps some basic education is in order - Fleming could create a mandatory course for every student, called "How Not to be a Douche 101." First lesson: don't block the stairs. The second problem is this. There is simply not enough seating for everyone. The college is IMMENSELY crowded, a situation which reaches its peak at 1pm, where you almost cannot move through the lobby due to the swarms of people. A great number of these people want to sit down for whatever reason and whatever length of time, only there are simply not enough seats. Recently, Fleming has put empty space to use by placing several tables in an empty area. That's a great step in the right direction, but it's not good enough. There are days when every seating place in the college is full, and there is quite literally not a single place to rest. There is a huge demand and no supply. This is a big issue because many people, like myself, need a seating place to study and do work. By the way, the comfy leather chairs may be comfortable, but they are absolutely useless for me and many others because they do not come with anywhere to place your books or laptop and study. I would suggest that the useless leather chairs be removed, freeing up useful space to place practical tables. So there you go - my two big problems with Fleming. There simply aren't enough seats, the leather chairs are useless space-takers, and people are constantly blocking the stairwells without thinking of others. When Fleming addresses and rectifies these problems, I will gladly upgrade my rating to 5 stars.
If you have a learning disability and/or iep, your profs here will not value or respect it. NONE of my accommodations were respected or followed. Complaints fall on deaf ears. Equity is not something Fleming values or practices. Even child and youth care professors failed to practice what the teach.
Student's are a sham. Teacher's are a sham. Their online classes are terribly managed, they think they are doing well but they are only pushing student's into depression. They can't manage their learning content and failing students.
Not a student, but tried calling for over 2 days to get some information for my cousin and NO ONE PICKS UP. It's not that big of a college how busy could you all be?! UPDATE: About 3 months later and yet to have gotten a response: call or even an email for the 3 messages I left. Obviously I was able to get the information through external means but it goes to show how much these guys actually care.
If you're going to this for Pre-health then forget it. I took it two years ago. They make first semester super easy and then second semester hell. One third of all the students dropped out only during second semester. The second semester teachers don't care about you whatsoever. This is a money making scheme so that you've put in enough effort and time that you won't drop out and will take summer classes to make up second semesters failed/low course marks. Which will inevitably cost you even more money. Take whatever course you were planning to take but the lower part (aka assistant, or something related). At Least that way you'll get a career at the end of it.
many don’t think the administrative team job is worthy of much
Fleming can be very hit or miss depending on your luck/ course / which teachers you get. For some; you learn a lot, its simple, and stress free. For many others going to Fleming is a regret they will always have. Faced with uncaring staff, courses that are not designed or taught to the level expected of a paid institution. I consider myself to be lucky; as I didn't need to personally experience most of the low points Fleming has to "offer". Unfortunate I have also seen the side of the school they don't want to acknowledge; both from my fellow course taking students (7+ years ago); and those going to school there now. The issues with Fleming seem to be systemic and need to be reviewed by an objective third party. - During COVID; some teachers are not bothering to be on time for their own class; and even cancel it 45 minutes after being late; they also refuse to get child care for their unruly children who will yell during the whole class. This may even result in the teacher just stopping the class and leaving, or canceling it entirely; If students are expected to get child care to attend college, why are teachers not held to the same standard? - Student support is almost non existent, if you have any disagreement with your assigned "professor" you have no real recourse. Even when your criticism is valid, and supported by your peers; the school will not take you seriously. Note that these complaints are not coming from a young child; but adults. Some staff treat all their students as children whose opinions can be ignored. They are usually the most ignorant "professors" who have the most need to grow. -They needs to do a deep, third-party, review of all their teachers / courses to get it to the level you would hope for an education you have to pay for.
Worst college. They will fail students intentionally for extra fee
Great ambiance, and wonderful customer service!
Absolutely Brutal. School caters to international students more so then the people actually living in Peterborough. Very disorganized, no school spirit, and teachers who have no business teaching. I wouldn't recommend, even if you get it all paid for. There are better options. Believe me.
Worst experience in this college. They increased the fees where every college was giving refunds to students. They do racism and partiality with international students.
They did not want me to come in .I'm alumni and who cared And yes I understand Covid-19 because I've been working through it since it started . They really didn't want me come here and I'm alumni . O well .
Nice
HVAC Program: Very pleased with this program as it far exceeded my expectations. A great opportunity to enter into the trades with a well paying job. I received 2 trades licenses including Gas and Oil that requires no further apprenticeships. I also received more than a handful of trade certificates I believe 8 in total and received all of this in just under a year. This school is very respected with Hvac employers and offers allot of hands-on lab time in one of the best Hvac labs in the province. All the equipment is top notch as well. Every teacher had trade experience and many are still actively working in the field and they all went out of their way to make sure I understood. The school also has a huge cafeteria, lounge, and also a free membership to the wellness center that features an indoor track, weights, sauna, and pool . I highly recommend this school to anyone serious about a trades career and give it my endorsement.
Why a huge increase in fees of international students without any notification? Not et all supportive for international students
poor faculty not able to reply even one email in 2 months I am frustrated from them all as they never do there work.
Beautiful Campus
Worst teachers I have ever seen......nobody listens to students. They don't care about students. They just want their money. Useless college... it would be biggest mistake of your life to go in this colleges.....some teachers are so rude and take revenge from students because of their personal issues..please avoid this college rest upto you
All I can say is wow beautiful so clean looking to start soon
Its the best place to learn
Lost a star because of the service provided in the registrar's office. Granted their service has improved over the last couple years, in my experience, they have never returned a voicemail and rarely answer the phones. As for support services, library, and other departments... 5 stars!
I am not talking about studies here, but they do not have minimum curtesy on the students and their requests. There are lots of other colleges who cares about student situation. It is huge mistake for a middle class student to join in this college.
Nice
