I had this not so good experience with the college admission. I applied and gave my COPR as proof that I am a resident but Gail was hesitant to admit me because she was looking for my PR card in which i haven't had yet because of the delay of the process from IRCC. She was looking for another proof and I told her that it is the only proof I have because I only downloaded it online from the portal. Then she asked another lady, so they accepted my application but she told me to bring my PR card as proof. I had to call IRCC about it and they told me that my COPR is already a sufficient proof of my status and that the school doesn't need to ask for my PR card. Since I was very worried, I called the admission again and informed them of what IRCC told me to relay to the school. The lady from the admission, who answered the phone, was very aggressive in telling me that my application has no problem whatsoever. I told her I just want to make sure because they were hesitant during my application in the campus but she was belligerent in telling me that they were not hesitant because she was there during my application and that she explained it to me already. My point is, she should not be that aggressive in defending her co-worker. She should understand my situation in which I am very worried. She could've just explain it to me in a nice way but she was talking in a sense that I don't understand her point at all which is not nice. People working in the admission where they talk to new applicants and new students should be nice and understanding and should be very patient so that they will not scare the students and drive them away. I hope the administration will look into this matter seriously. Thank you
