Honestly best CEGEP, I'm in the Psychology Profile Program and the teachers are extremely helpful and always try to accomodate you to help you succeed!!

This place is always super busy and tons of nice people to meet. I currently go here and most teachers (at least those in the core courses of programs) care so much about their students. The teachers here want to see the students succeed and that's nice to see. Just got a new Tim Horton's there. My main complaint is that the stairways are WAY too hot around this time of year. Needs to be hooked up to the central system air or just better ventilated.

Does not care for their students or their health. Holding in person exams during a surge of cases is not ethical, especially after the mental drain of an online semester

As a student, I like the general population that goes here but the place could be much better kept and not all the teaching staff are good teachers which becomes really frustrating as a student trying to do their best and learn. Absolutely love the look of some of the places such as the library.

The teachers are good. (well most of ones that I had, like 90%) I couldn't stand the general atmosphere. Some people are decent ones while others ones are slackers who don't play any attention and disrupts the course. Critical thinking was terrible. The noisy ones took advantage of the old teacher and there was nothing going on the classes. In other cases the atmosphere has been mostly in an awkward silence. Can't stand it anymore so I left. The business class is by far one of the best.

Ultimate Food Reviews

I didnt get accepted there because apparently I was not qualified enough to go to a disired program even though my average were in the 80s and had all the requirements to get into it compared to my friend who easily got in who has 70s. Im guessing there is a race problem in this school where the white privileged students can easily get in where as in for a minority group it is much harder.

I was at Dawson for a 3 year program with internship and couldn't be happier. They prepared me for the real world and I feel comfortable with the knowledge I gained from my program

Were extremely late with my refusal letter. I got it late May, wasting my time. I got in to Cont Ed, which is fine. I enjoyed my courses. My only gripe is with students. They are very messy. You’ll find trash EVERYWHERE. I’d rather go to Vanier but I don’t really have the energy to switch schools at the moment.

obviously this college has racial prejudice. I have an average of 90+ every single term in all academic subjects since grade 9 and they refused my application even the second choice which is a technical program claiming that my profile is not strong enough, while I am admitted to the honors health science in Marianopolis

(Translated) What a fantastic school! The teachers are very good, the location is perfect, and the student ambience is very pleasant! Everything is located very close and the Atwater metro station is connected with the school and more, so do not go outside when it's raining outside! good, but not vanier good.

Bianca Hutanu

As a student there for two years, getting help from the counsellors and other facilities was a pain. Alot of resources are hard to access and take forever before you are taken into consideration. Alot of staff aren't very competent, especially when a french teacher makes basic mistakes in their mother tongue.. And that's only one out of many. Although, I've had the best philosophy teachers there and some teachers are actually really good.

I am not here to give a negative image about this beautiful college. there is many positve points, for exemple the location and overall the science teachers are very good, specially in physics and math. I frankly posted a one star, because I just cannot stand the administration anymore. I had terrrrrrrrrrrrible service previously with the continuing education departement and the academic support service. I missed ONE TOTAL session, because of their lack of professionalism. I was given wrong information. not once or twice but this has happened three times up until now ( its only my first year ). I was provided with wrong information in regards to refund process, they just threw the ball to the finance departement and they ended up paying me a month later ( it was supposed to be in two business days as per them ). Thus, once I took an appointment to see an academic advisor over the phone on the begining of the winter session. the appointment was confirmed with date & time. As I am an adult who is a bit late in school, I was highly concerned in regards to my academic path, so I needed some advice/support. That day, I had to drive an hour to montreal at -40 degrees I remember, I had troubles finding parking at around 5pm ... then once there 30 minutes ahead of the appointment, I went to aware the lady at the counter of ( continuing education ) about my appointment, then she said . Oh sorry, it is not possible today, all the places are taken, come back during drop in hours :S ... seriously, for her it was kind of normal, she did not care at alllllll. I told her about he situation and she had NO empathy nor compassion, I was treated like a little kid who is misguided. She tried to reverse the situation on me, like I was hallucinating. Anyways that appointment was EXTREMELY important for me ... finaly I did not take any appointment. and ended up dropping.

Good for daytime students, continuing education students are treated poorly by administration. Do not bother trying to get any college services or academic advising, you are on your own.
