Great university! Smaller classes sizes, lots of study space, some really great professors, plus it's in such a great city.

i don't rlly know what im doooooooooin here

Unclear information about the sky-high application fee until the very last step of the process. Poor communication and an unwelcome atmosphere during the application. This broke school will squeeze every bit out of you to generate revenue. Think twice before you apply.

Great place for research and growing collaborations

Absolute disappointment of an establishment. This flip flop on students who have moved to Lethbridge to attend your school & then told there aren't online options if they aren't allowed on campus is ridiculous. Informing students the DAY before online class registration ends that they have to figure it out themselves; and that only some of their classes have online options amidst the very predictable chaos of covid is appalling. & now just word-vomiting emails to students confusing them farther with contradictory statements. Regardless of opinion on current events this could have been decided upon initially instead of in the middle of the first week after people have commited to attending your establishment. There is no excuse for the utter disrespect to students and their families this year.

Great Place for International students, proudly earned my degree from it

Great University, and highly recognized by employers

This is about tuition fee deposit. I have a grave concern with the policy of this institution on tuition fee deposit; that international applicants offered admission, but denied visa by Canadian embassy will not be refunded their deposit. The policy of a non refundable tuition deposit fee of $200 as condition for acceptance of admission is fraud and unjust, a means designed to exploit. I need you to justify why this fees is not refundable. You need to explain to the public what form of service you have given an applicant who was denied visa and did not step his foot on your institution. I think there are other legitimate means to exploit to improve your revenue base. The non refundable tuition fee deposit of $200 should be refundable please. This policy is barbaric and should be reviewed immediately. Tyler Jonah

While Lethbridge and the campus is nice, the UofL is not worth a single dime of your money. The administration does not care about its students and academic advising is woefully unprepared and often causes students to graduate late. Compared to other Universities the UofL is more expensive, less prestigious, offers less opportunities, and just has a general disdain for its students. Go somewhere else.

The WiFi is 200 years in the past....non-existent.

we love all the community activities hosted at the university

This is a good, well-run, highly rated university in Canada; and the fact that it is in a smaller, comparatively inexpensive city only makes it a better place to go.

Small but still okay. Getting a degree in tubercyotosisogeology here.

I like the view from the new addition. wife loved the school itself

Friendly environment

Jeff Hamilton is the Best ????????

Aaahhhhh the U of L. Next to Calgary the only place to get a decent education, and no one wants to go to Calgary amirite! So tie down everything you own to keep it from blowing away and get in here.

Who cares they are teaching and learning. My previous review was angry and frustrated i was wrong so theres my review google *)

Medical testing. Convenient, helpful & on time. Very good.

Liberal education tradition is a good and a bad thing here depending on what you like. small class sizes, will meet other people and seniors too. Tip is to make the networks. Tuition fees, not too high as compared to other universities. Studies can be challenging, take 3 or maximum 4 courses in first semester. housing is cheap, car insurance is cheap. gets very cold and windy. academic advisors are good.

Compared to many othwr young Universities in Canada, this one is more organized and very good facilities for study and research. City is small and is a good place to live. Parking inside the university is very expensive.

Amazing university with great class size and high-quality teaching. Tyler Martineau got his education from here. U of L plays a huge role in the city of Lethbridge. The University brings many people from all over the world to our city who likely would have never come here which turns this city into their new home. Either for a few years or the rest of their lives.

The city is cheap to live in and it is a good school. However, transferring from another school to here doesn't work out that well as you have register at a time slot a year behind what you were. i.e. 3rd years register at the same time as 2nd years, making ti impossible to pick up the courses in order to complete one's degree on time. Cost me an extra year to complete my degree.

Great Comp Sci program

Great School!

amazing place of study.

Great place.

I feel the need to write a review to counter what was said about the Fine Arts program at the University. The facilities are amazing and the instructors are wonderful. There is a large staff and diverse amount of practices that the instructors cover. If they lack the knowledge of anything they work hard to help you find it or even find other artists that come in for workshops. They are all accomplished and very interesting artists. Now it is a constant complaint from people coming into the program that they 'don't get to do what they want' at the start. The first year or two is about developing your skills and it is after that, when you have the skill set and knowledge that you begin to develop your practice. The only slight complaint that I have is the printmaking studio needs to be utilized more. Other then that Uleth has an amazing Fine Arts program with numerous opportunities for people who are actually passionate about what they are doing.

bad just bad

Jeff Hamilton couldn't ask for a better setup if it's possible do it ????

Best post secondary experience in Alberta!

Unbelievable that you are forcing the students to get injected with poison or leave!! What happened to freedom of choice and the right to refuse any medical procedure?

Wonderful place to study

I wouldn't want to get my education anywhere else! The Faculty of Management is excellent and has so many amazing extra programs and activities for Management students. Whether it's the Professional Development Programs, Case Competitions, Speaker events, Excel workshops, and so much more.

Awesome ????

Beautiful campus

Besides some courses are inconsistant from one professor to the other it's a good university.

This university is not a good uni for international students, they exploit international students, especially the 1000 dollars deposit that they tend to take 75 percent when you don't get a student permit. Iam so disappointed with this uni since it has refused to defer my brothers semester they want to take all the money. So disappointed they don't listen to anyone and they don't understand anything students needs all they want is money.

Excellent post-secondary institution. Great class sizes, high quality and personable faculty, great facilities!

It's just beautiful how the University architecture is designed to fit into hill.

Since my previous review appeared to vanish, I feel the need to repost as I do not want anyone going through what I did here. If you want to attend a welcoming environment that will work with you to succeed, don't come here. From administration and academic advising whose favorite phrase is "I'd love to help you, but it is not my job," to professors who tell a student asking for a simple accommodation "You never should have come here," and "All you do is inhibit the creativity of others," it was certainly a memorable experience.

University is really fun, but also really hard. It's okay 3/5

It's a great place to study, work and have connections as well!

First experience with the U of L and it was really good! Everyone was following the rules and the staff & students were very helpful ???? The deer was having a nap I think & woke up to check us out ????

Decent place to go to school so far! Looooots of walking around campus to get to classes. As with any university some professors seems more invested in their students well being than others. But it seems there's no shortage of various kinds of support here if you're looking. Beautiful sights to see every day through Uleth's giant windows.

Great university with quality facilities!

Amazing people very friendly

Nice facility. Hopefully they updated the residence cafeteria because the food was garbage years ago.

Attending the U of L (BSc Neuro) has been a great experience. Great profs, great opportunities for research, and great facilities.
