The most racist school I've ever seen. They don't return phone call or emails. The only students I've ever seen there is east Indians. The director all the way down to student council does not know there head from there but. They entertain you so it doesn't look suspect, but they are choosing who to teach and not to teach. I call for a full investigation on this school. It's not for the people unless your brown. Stay away you can do better for education. Racist Evergreen college.

I'm a student taking the education assistant course and I'm pleased to say that this is probably one of the best private Colleges out there. The teachers are amazing and super friendly. Would highly recommend this College for anyone looking for good education and a job right right away.

I am a HUC&MOA student at Evergreen college.I learned lots of up to date medical knowledge and got hands on practices. The staffs and instructors are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional.I can feel they really care about us-students. They do everything they can to help students to find professional jobs and fulfill their dreams. In my daily life,I am beneficial from this course because I can undertand most of medical teminology when I visit dentist or family doctor. Moreover, I use medical terms to communicate with the doctors instead of using normal words. Not only I have a bright and promising future now, but also I know more about my body, my health. And I love the school's atmosphere, I love my instructor, we are a big family, full of hope, fun, happiness.Enjoy and share each and every precious moment in our lives.

I got my job quickly as soon as I finished my practicum that the College set up for me, very satisfied with them. I'm looking to take another course with them soon. Very friendly staff members and instructors and always looking after their students.

Please trust me this place is a scam. My fellow students looking to attend a college please look elsewhere. All the reviews saying they had a positive experience here was most likely fake or coerced. From the president (Mr. Mahmood) all the way to the teachers everyone is incompetent and a fraud. They don't care about any problems you are facing as shown by their lack of concern for the student experience and the only interest they have is collecting your tuition every semester. Extremely unpleasant experience here after talking to the president and the career councillor. Please please go elsewhere, you'll thank yourself for not having to deal with this absolute joke of a college and extremely weird, obnoxious, unintelligent, and rude president (Mr. Mahmmood). I would give this place a 0/5 if I could after they scammed me into paying more than they originally promised.

I enrolled my wife here at Bay River last 2 years ago . I was supposed to have a referral pay that was staff said for a student. After a couple of months of there is no answer and they leaved you hanging . Plus the course that my wife takes is a Pharmacy Assistant the topic there was irrelevant to the course. Every time we question the management they turned theyre backs away . So please be aware . There's a lot of colleges nearby . This place is scam .They are not credited . Its all about money. 1 more thing If you reach 50% of studies you cannot take your tuition fee's back .

WORST COLLEGE For students 1. It’s not fair for them to pay that high amount of tuition with the kind of education system they are offering - very poor quality. 2. There books are delayed, sometimes it will take them the whole program to finish before they can provide them. 3. There are only 4 washrooms, for 100 plus students. 4. The ventilation of school should be questioned. 5. There are programs that they only opened because of money. 6. They will suspend students without prior warnings. 7. They will falsely promise students just to get them enrolled just for money, especially their practicum arrangements. 8. Management is only good during enrollment but after you will have a hard time getting into them to get answers from your questions. 9. The google reviews and fb reviews of this college were either coerced or they will bribe students to write good comments. 10. The transcript of records are inaccurate and most of the time (95% of the time) delayed. For staff 1. They don’t know what they are doing even the management level. 2. Management did not even go through training before they acquire this business. 3. They don’t know anything about Canadian workforce or labor laws. 4. They will implement rules which are out of their emotions during that time without doing any research of Alberta and federal labor laws. 5. The pay is always delayed, up to a week. 6. This school is run by a family and if they have personal problems or disagreement - you can see them physically arguing in front of students and staff. 7. If you call in sick, they will doubt you and will suspend you right away. 8. The benefits that they are offering are for their employees only not extended to the family. 9. Micro management is really rampant. 10. They will promise commissions, raise, and other benefits - will never happen. This comment will surely create a fuss on their end. The National Association of Career Colleges, Alberta Association of Career Colleges, and the Alberta Labor Standards should make further and thorough investigation on this college.

I choose to do my Health Care Aide Course at Bay River College and realised it was a natural choice for study. The lecturers are very knowledgeable and I am able to get the best out of my studies in less time. High quality course with compact size. Helpful staff and students care with reasonably scheduling. A choice i dont regreat.

If you are looking for a good career college in Western Canada or Calgary then I will highly recommend them as they are very helpful and also experienced.

This school has been a nightmare from the start. The staff is condescending and disrespectful. They agree with anything and then do nothing. I heard from so many students that they were just trying to get through to the end to get their certification. They also have every student sign a non disparagement contract. The courses seem good until you sit down and realize they are either way too easy or way too unorganized to be useful . There is no consistency. Asking to speak to an advisor can be a multi day or week long process. I personally have been threatened with disciplinary action and I’ve witnessed intimidation and just plain bad customer experience for other students. It feels like they just want our money. I wish everyone considering this school would take the time to find somewhere else to get an education.

They launched the Education Assistant program before they did their research. When students and employees were asking the management/administration about this - they did not know what to answer them. When they knew that this is only for Level 1 - they delay the answer to students, so they will not quit the program half way thru, which means more money for the college (Bay River/Evergreen). There are programs that they opened without fully researching everything - so everything that they do are just experiments. Even, when they released that they are accepting INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS - they haven't done their research on this. Some International Students are done with the program they enrolled - and they haven't had all the information they needed. These are the reasons why most of the students are complaining. Same, with their past employees or current employees, especially teachers. They are offering $18-$25/hour - these rates are not even for the the caliber of great teachers. Constant turn over of employees are very rampant. You will see some will only last 3 mons, most of them a week or 2. This is why students cannot get what they paid for - the quality is not there.

Akinya Buhle

They are just posting a job to be a part-time teacher for classes "Cyber Security & Cloud Computing program" suggest wage $20-25/hr. Not sure what kind of IT people work for that rate but it does not speak well to the quality of the staff they seek. 9-1 weekdays - right in the middle of the business day. Part-time, contract - sure to attract the best. Sad.

This people are asking google to delete the reviews - BEWARE! They really want their reviews to sky rocket! They are not even worth of 1 star. They are scam. I was a student back in 2019 and referred few students, but I never get the referral fee. I called few times and they just neglected it. The education standards are below average, if you want to talk to any of the manegement, it would take years! They just took money and I have debt to govt that I have to pay, but it's not worth it. They are not credible dealing with.

I found this college to be such a sham. They initially waved my registration fee but then asked for it again later on. I met with a career counselor and when she advised me I'd be paying more than originally stated, I was upset and told her kindly that this school wasn't for me. I got up and left the meeting and headed outside to cry in my car .I had spent my savings trying to pay down my interest of a previous school loan so i could go back to school and I was now financially tapped. I called back to speak with the career counselor and she advised me to return back in to speak with her. When I went back into the college I was met with rudeness and the receptionist speaking about me to another person on the phone in a totally different language. I heard my name 3 times before she hung up. Totally unprofessional and inappropriate. I was then met in the waiting room by the director of the college informing me that I was no longer allowed on college property and I was to remove myself immediately. I was in shock and asked why was tus happening. He answered with " you have made our counselor cry, and if you don't leave we will call secuirty". I said thank's and left. As I sat in the parking lot I was met with hand jesters and waving to get me to leave. They also told me they would call me.with a decision about whether I was allowed to attend their institution. I never got a call , nor email. Also, when I called to apologize for making a career councilor cry (unbelievable. .. clearly in the wrong job field ), I wasn't allowed to speak to her directly or even leave a message. In fact they left me on hold for nearly 10 minutes to only come on and tell me some lie that their phone system wasn't working. All around a horrible experience. I've shared my story with other reputable colleges and they have all said the same thing. This place is a sham and comes HIGHLY not recommended! !! Beware of their tricks and money sucking ways. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I've never been treated so badly by a place of business.

This college could have been better if they have a good management, first of all I would like to thank my instructor Mr Sanat Ullah for all the effort and ensuring that his students will be graduated with knowledge, he is one of the best asset of Bayriver. I hope that Bayriver will continuously improve their service to many students as they’re losing potential to become competitive with other colleges, I would say that I was satisfied with the education that I had from Bayriver, I’d also like to thank Leonard another instructor in my computer even though the course was short but he demonstrated a great teaching. I wish all the staff the best. Thank You!

BE AWARE, only believe those whom rated one star, if there is a zero star you would see the rate zero. They change the college name from Evergreen to Bay river and they will change it again I am sure ( you should know why ) my wife is a former student ( assistant education ) hoping to get her Supervisor license ( level 3 ) after her diploma, they assured her that they are credited and after hard work/ $15,000 and more in student loan we realized they are NOT credited and my wife got ( level one only ) which she can get free online in a week. They didn’t care and literally dumped you. Now she start over again with Bow valley new loan and new struggle to be added to the old loan. Be Smart and do your research good. ( In response to your comment below) Thats not what you told us when we registered. Its fair for everyone to BE AWARE as I mentioned above.
