I went there and the esthetics teacher doesn't speak English at all, she is from India I believe. Most of the students that come to this school don't have good English. I believe it is not very professional. They accept everybody in the courses only to make money.

Hi! Ms. Mona Dhawan is an amazing teacher. She is very knowledgeable and accommodating to her students. She always make sure that we understand our lesson. I was hesitant to take online course at first because we have to do everything online and I'm not sure how we can do the laboratory, but then Ms. Mona did a great job teaching us everything in compounding drugs even if we were not be able to perform it in a real pharmacy laboratory. And one more thing, I am not a techy person but I was able to understand and do everything that she taught us in our Kroll subject. So I am very happy and bless to be part of Ms. Mona's class.

I have had a very good experience with ABM College. The new campus has a huge facility located close to Whitehorn Station providing easy access. The College has excellent teaching equipment and they really emphasize on hands on training. The lab is world class, its Health Care Aide lab is the best in Calgary. It is an exceptional place to study. And they all really have your best interest in mind. It is very multicultural too making it easy to adapt and make friends. 10/10 Would recommend.

ABM College has been a one-of-a kind experience. I have had the pleasure of meeting amazing people, my co-workers, the students, and instructors. I also enjoy learning different bits and pieces about the courses that are offered from instructors who have passion for their subjects. Sometimes I would participate in pot-lucks, and enjoy all of the different types of food that the students would bring from their Countries. I also enjoyed learning about their Culture, and their language. Overall, I can honestly say I grew as a person in ways that I did not know I am able to accomplish, and manage.

I like how I can get here through transit. The people are really nice. They have intakes every month and the classes are fairly small, so there's a lot of opportunity for one on one's with the teachers. Even walking will only be a 15 min. walk from the 73 bus. They have snacks~ which is always a plus.

ABM College is one of our favorite customers. What I love about working with the staff at ABM College is that they are innovative and responsive. I visited their office many times and I am always greeted with a warm smile and welcoming handshake. From the business perspective I admire their focus on reaching out to new Canadians and giving them the training and skills that are required for jobs in industries that where the demands are growing. This includes areas such as health care, accounting, esthetics, legal, massage, laboratory, office and pharmacy. The list of training courses seems to grow longer every quarter. Last year a started my course at my job due to Covid 19. I was so nervous because at the time I was making a career change and had zero experience in the Healthcare field. I was excited when I picked the MOA and Unit Clerk course but had no idea of how my courses will be like neither I did not not have any experience in the field. After meeting Dr. Krishna I received a superb teaching experience I really enjoyed the way she taught her class by keeping us all engaged in the subject at hand and even though sometimes the topics were a little bit challenging Dr. Krishna always found a way to explain to me and the class in a very easy way to understand and would not move to the next topic until everyone had a perfect understanding of what she was teaching at the time and along with her assignments it perfectly complemented my learning experience at ABM. I hope that if you decide to take this course you will be lucky enough to have Dr. Krishna as you instructor as I was. I would to extend a big THANKS TO DR. KRISHNA because of her help I was able to land a practicum as a Unit Clerk in the Pediatrics Department at the South Health Campus in Calgary, AB. That was exactly what I wanted to do with my studies and all the knowledge I have learned from Dr. Krishna directly applies to my position there. ONCE AGAIN A BIG THANKS TO DR. Now I understand that because of the recession and recently COVID 19 things going really bad specially for business, but you post a job on a poplar job website and calling people for interview and yet you don't which position the candidate apply for? I have submitted my resume for the position of Student Loan Officer which from my understanding was when the student wants to involve in a course and they wish to get a loan through the government or any FI's as a student loan officer I will process this for them and as I do have panetly of experience in finance also since my second job just casual I thought such a position is not going to affect my current job!! I was surprised that three individuals interviewed me , they focused on how much I was making in my previous jobs, and how much I make in my current job! how to make sales and bring them students " if I was the successful candidate" I mean really?!!!!!! I was so surprised like its a college do you want me to get you sales and students through the yellow pages?!! OMG I just wasted my time.

Not a good school at all , Dr.baten doesn't run the school properly, and there is no Order in the school , the lady on the front desk is also rude , the learning experience is horrible the class rooms are small and they only want the money , it is a third class college, don't go here. I was promised by my student counsellor upon enrollment that I will receive a $2000 completion award. But at the end they told me it is only $1000 and I will not receive anything because I still have a $1000 credit from my student loan. I don't understand it since the amount they ask from my student loan is the same amount given to them.They seem to look for a reason not to give what they promised from the beginning. Hopefully this review will reach to the owner and they do something about it.

Studying in ABM is a big jump on my entire career, I've been working in oil and gas company for almost 11yrs and when the economy of oil and gas down I lost myself and thinking whats the next day for me. Hello, my name is Kelly. I have been a student at A B M college for almost two years. In the beginning I was nervous but excited to be joining this program. I was introduced to Carrie my instructor and off the bat liked her and was happy to know she was going to teach me. Months went by and my mind expand with knowledge and was enjoying coming to school. Christmas break of 2014 came and after a relaxing vacation, to my surprise admin was trying to get rid of my instructor and wanted someone else. Luckily, her students and others who Carrie did not teach backed her up and told admin they were crazy for doing such a thing. Admin changed their mind and left it alone until March 9th. Everything went down hill and I felt bad for the new instructors who were taking over. This school is ridiculous and I would not recommend this school even to my worst enemy.

Having completed a degree program in another country over 20 years ago, I found myself in a position where I wanted to make a life change. My resume required some specific educational training to try to secure the type of position I was searching for. That led me to AMB College. And having been out of the learning process for such a long time, I was nervous and hesitant. Particularly with English not being my first language. And then I received a call from Mr. Jake Hughes at ABM College. He arranged right away for me to meet with the Student Counselor. While the ABM admission process does require many different steps, the reason is apparent - the school does this to ensure that it connects with students who have the desire to succeed in the multi-dimensional academic and social environment that the College has to offer. That step led to an interview with Ms. Roopali, where I was greeted with a smile and encouraged to feel at home. Coming from Quebec and having a long way to go in English especially for my speaking. I was so afraid to start an education program in English in Calgary.... ABM College was scaring me because I wasn't sure if I would be enough for it. I did it anyway. & I do not regret anything about that choice. The fear of not being in the right place faded by the first week after the beginning of my program class. In fact, my psychology teacher Mrs. DuGray was a key element in my educational journey. She was one of the first teachers I was a student of who not only talked to us about taking care of our mental health but actually cared about it. Indeed, on the first Friday we had the lesson of doing something to improve our mental health. She is one of the few teachers I consider exceptional, inspiring who crossed my path. She is one of those who have been examples, have broadened my horizons, who have transmitted to me the virus of their taught subject, who have made me want to be creative in a field. His humanism, his frankness, his transparency, his patience, his listening and his non-judgment allowed me to get out of my cocoon and to trust myself more what I thought impossible so quickly! I am editing to remove the name of the teacher as per the college repetitive and demanding request to do so. Since starting with this college I have had a multitude of issues, most with no apologies or anything. Between the incredibly hard time I have trying to contact the college (this is all teachers and staff), the not releasing assignments and quizzes to being treated poorly, I likely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone solely due to the headache it has caused for me. I was warned to not come, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I have had nothing but issues with “Dr.K” for the MOA courses, PM teacher. She treats her students terribly, talking down to them every single chance she can get. She won’t release assignments and quizzes, her attitude is atrocious and patronizing when in class. If she cannot treat others with respect, she should not expect the same treatment back. People are paying WAY too much money to be treated like this. Everyone at the school isn’t like this, so this is only a reflection on only her, and the schools should handle the complaints in a better manner in the future.

I am recent student at ABM College. My experience at ABM College has been amazing. I started in May of 2016. I studied Medical office assistant/ Unit Clerk program. Prior to coming to ABM College I was extremely scared, as a mature student that has been out of school for awhile, my biggest fear was can I actually do it and be successful. I started off in Microsoft Office and that was challenging! My instructor told me if I am going to go onto the next part of the program I needed to move along, this caused me great stress and anguish, I reached out and asked other students at ABM College if anyone was interested in tutoring me. I was able to find a student that was already in the MOA program and carried on with the additional tutoring and actually completed the program, one week before I was supposed to move on. Extremely shocked that I was also receiving Student of the Month in June 2016. I moved into the medical office assistant program, I was very passionate about the program, I found my instructor extremely knowledgeable, professional, and instilled excellent teaching resource information to myself and classmates. I worked extremely hard, long hours, as I traveled to Calgary and back to Red Deer daily, I received student of the month in August 2016 in the MOA program. There were moments I thought I cannot do this anymore. Although I loved coming through the doors of ABM College as the staff and front line workers had such a welcoming greeting and truly felt inspired by each and everyone of them. I loved coming to school! Looking back I've had so many of my friends family, coworkers say to me how much I have changed, my reply is I haven't changed and they respond yes you have, you are so much happier, so much more confident and less stressed. I contribute this to my experience at ABM College, the excellent teaching skills, and all staff involved in seeing me reach my goal of success. Another thing I really liked about ABM College, was there flexibility in attending other classes and encouraging and inspiring other students.

At first I was afraid of this course Pharmacy Math and Calculations because it focuses more in Math and I admit I`m not good in calculations however since I have been learning Pharmacy Math and Calculations from Ms. Mona Dhawan it's been a great experience to me. Starting with my student adviser Pauline, She made my enrollment, registration and access to learning materials very stress free. My Microsoft teacher Mr. Kelvin is one of a kind. So patient, accommodating and very knowledgeable in his field. Dr. Krishnaveny has been my MOA teacher since October and I must say that I’m lucky to work under her. If you are someone that needs constant motivation, this woman is your best plug. She got her students back, always checking on us. Even though the courses are online, it feels as though she knows us very well and can easily spot out changes in her students’ behavior. How she does this is still surprising to me. No dull moment in her class OMG; she’s got charisma, she is jovial, kind and at the same time very disciplined.

I was living living in Calgary for 9 months after arriving from the Philipines. I was working at Tim Hortons in the NE, living day to day, hand to mouth! I saw an ad to become a PSW in JUST 5 Months in a newspaper from ABM College and decided to go and check it out. As soon as I entered the College I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist and immediately offered a hot cup of cofee! I spoke with the enrollment councillor who was very nice and sympathetic to my situation. She listened to my needs and my story of being a Nurse back home but unable to find decent work in Canada. She recommended the Health Care Aide program, and explained the course to me, and told me that it is a stepping stone to my future! Needless to say, I enrolled, they even gave a $1000 bursary considering my situation and marks and attendance! I am a very good student! I Graduated 3 months ago, and I landed m first job 1 week after I graduated! Today I am working at a very good hospital and and getting paid a very good salary, and I am able to enjoy my time off with my family without having to work three jobs or worrrying about how I will pay my bills! I couldn't have done it without the support of my husband, children, ABM College and it's wonderful caring teachers, who helped me every step of the way.

If you are a person who enjoys mental abuse on a daily basis this is the school for you. If you value your sanity and want an actual education that will help you in life you need to study elsewhere. Having to watch people suffer daily from the mental abuse the employees receive is ridiculous. No brain Annaliza is the boss and the CEO is her puppet who just says yes sir or no sir. There is no management and dont even bother with a complaint. They will turn it on you and ensure that you are the one who suffers. If you are thinking of being employed here PLEASE do yourself a favor and find another job. The only people who work there are people who cant get jobs anywhere else. And please if anyone thinks otherwise prove me wrong. Once they have your money youre nobody to them. I watched my wife suffer daily from this school. It is not worth it. I just wanted to leave a review about this college. If you want to create fake positive reviews for yourself at least choose someone who can speak English properly. Oh wait I forgot the person who was writing the fake positive reviews no longer works there. As they were “trouble makers” for speaking the truth. If you buy a case of apples and you find one rotten apply you remove the apple from the case so it doesnt ruin the rest of the apples. In The case of ABM they kept the rotten apple and ensured the good ones left. If I was the President I would open my eyes and get rid of the rotten apple to ensure the success of my company. But thats hard to do given the leash that she has around his neck. Dont believe anything positive. All are fake and once youre enrolled youll find that out for yourself.

Because people don't know there heads from there asses. the administration is a joke they are so racist and judgmental its not even funny. If you are not of the dark skin population you don't stand a chance at this school. I was so thrilled and excited about what ahead of me with this new journey in my life. as the months goes by i keep learning new things and things that I've known already but guess what? They have the most wonderful massage program and the best co-ordinator and team of teachers that provided my class and I continuous support throughout our program no matter what questions we had. I know that if I tried to learn this from elsewhere it would not even come close to the quality of teaching I received here, from ABM. The atmosphere is also very friendly and welcoming. The admin staff, Dr Farooq, Perveen and Rupali, were always there to help with any queries or guidance I needed on the logistics of my program also. I can definitely say, thanks to ABM, I am now happily working and applying my skills as an RMT in multiple physiotherapy clinics. Former student here; reached out to them by email couple months ago about my transcripts no one responded until I kept calling the school trying to see who can help me. We started communicating through email but I still don’t get straight answers from them. All I wanted was for them to send my transcripts to the HCA Directory, kept telling me that they can’t because the Directory will not accept my registration anymore. Last month, I met with Dr. Farooq as he said he wanted to talk to me in person, so I went to ABM before work; only talked with him for about 5 minutes just to tell me its not happening at all, and kept giving me reasons that don’t make sense. Offered to pay the remaining balance on my tuition, he said that they can’t accept cheques or credit card. He even said that if they will issue a certificate they have to back date it, because apparently the government told them they can only issue certificates from a certain time frame especially if it was more than 5 years ago; I mean I don’t honestly understand so I just went with it. Asked him before our meeting ended, as to what are the chances of them sending my transcripts to the Directory, he said he will have to talk to Accounting and the School President even told me to give him 5 days to try and talk to them about my situation and then after that he will send me an email the following week, never happened. I emailed the AB HCA Directory, they said that ABM College issues transcripts so there shouldn’t be a problem. So I emailed Dr. Farooq and up until now nothing. Even before communication and management have always been these bad. You cannot get straight answers from anyone; you always end up trying to reach out to them but they never do respond. These experience is just for this year, I also contacted them back in 2017; same thing. No responses for weeks and when they do they are no help at all. So if you’re planning on studying here DON’T!!! I suggest go somewhere else, you’ll find a much better experience when it comes to communication, with how management handle situations and concerns and for your education. Just because they have a new location, new building, new whatever; doesn’t mean the way they run things are different or better its still the same old thing.

If I could give this school zero stars I would. They prey on new comers making them pay for an entrance exam that's free at any other college. Some of the staff was very unprofessional. My wife and I were standing in line waiting when a group of Filipinas passed by talking about other employees in the reception area which really makes you second guess wanting to enroll your wife or children in this school. I guess it was a blessing to be able to see this up front and definitely helped with our decision to enroll at a different college. Not to mention they have a few employees working who try to force you to join their marketing team and try to force you to put their names on a referral form. No thanks. This College is a joke. Save your money and go else where
