Cute coffee corner with a great neighbourhood vibe. Lots of regulars and laid back staff make for a comforting visit. Good service. Prices are excellent and baked goods are sourced locally. Limited seating and a bit of a raucous atmosphere with convos and catchups limit ability to read/work in the space, but that's not really the intended vibe.

Super cozy and cute cafe. Had an oat milk latte and ginger snap cookie! The cookie was pretty spicy. The barista is also nice and friendly. There are also a variety of croissants available that were also delicious!

Had a delicious cappuccino (with a nice leaf pattern on top with thick foam) and it paired nicely with their lemon currant scone, and almond cookies. Friendly service, reasonable prices. Note it's very small inside; there's not much seating (five stools, and a small counter, plus a bench outside). There's also not much parking. Watch out when driving because it's actually a door in on Howland and that street is one way.

Whenever I'm visiting my friend in Toronto we come here for coffee and croissants. She lives very close by and goes there pretty much daily. It's a neighborhood favourite that always seems to be packed with people who all know each other. The coffee is fantastic and the staff are great. Their croissants are crave worthy!

Every time I am in Toronto, I visit this place and grab their almond cookies. They are absolutely delicious and great alternative for those on the keto diet. Of course, I also get my cappuccino which is always made to perfection. Although the space inside is blocked off because of covid. The curb side offers a great grab-n-go solution.

Often crowded... simply because the coffee is perfect. The americano is a bold approach with a hint of acidity and a smooth finish. A gem of a place. What separates good coffeeshops from great ones is consistency. Eventually, the owner can't be there every shift and at many places, the quality drops off. This isn't the case at Oakwood, despite various staff over the years. Great coffee and neighbourhood hub.

Busting tiny cafe on a Sunday. Proper italian style coffee so don't order a cortado if you're not used to strong BOLD flavors. Take note from the old Italian guys sitting out front on the bench, the coffee here is serious. Hot chocolate is a little weak but it's fine too.
