I was most excited to try my new neighbourhood spot this morning. I was made to feel not welcome as I can't wear a mask. I was about 10 feet away from the barista, whom had a mask and stood behind plexiglass, protected. Demanded I GET BACK, as if I had something wrong with me. I was over the social distance minimum, by a few feet. I asked if they would serve me, to which I was responded , "what do you want", in an abrupt way. I had my debit out and just wanted a coffee, the staff serving customers today was not kind to me. I went up the street to Soul Provisions, where they were more than happy to serve me at the door. I have to say, I walked away from Hunter coffee in tears, so I won't be giving them another chance. There's always another amazing spot just up the street. Try and remember that, I was looking for a spot to buy my coffee. I drink a couple a day.

Ashamed it took us this long to find this place. Quality beverages (coffee as smoothe as silk), yummy baked goods (scones) and the service is always amazing. Made to feel like home as soon you approach the front door. Always a line up, for good reason. Love that this is our local. Lori and the team are the best.

This place has the BEST pastries and cookies that I have had in Toronto and I am not exaggerating. The chocolate chip and pecan cookies and the scones are so delicious it's ridiculous! I haven't tried the coffee but the lemonades are great and refreshing and the staff is always super friendly! I'm so happy you guys are located there! I just wish it was open earlier to grab a coffee before work :)

Absolutely gorgeous place - some of the nicest interior design I've seen in a new cafe in a while. Owners are friendly, and coffee is delicious. It's a stop-and-go place with just stools to sit upon, and there is no washroom, so keep that in mind before planning your coffee brunch here. There's a friendly neighbourhood vibe and owners seem to know a lot of locals. I'll try to make a point of stopping in again, and I hope they do well.

Well made espresso macchiato, short and the new right amount of foam (i.e. more than traditional). Beans seem fresh, balanced flavours, but have to come back to taste because I had the very good cardamon bun first. Friendly staff, pleasant compact space. Just fell in love with this local coffee shop, friendly and polite staff. Tasty Pastry and fresh coffee. Only open limited hours and no indoor/outdoor seating. Always a line up in the morning (when you know it's that good!). Daily specials: donuts and scones. Grab a coffee to go and take a walk with your friend in the neighborhood. Will be coming back every Saturday

This is my favourite coffee shop in the St Clair area. The staff is so friendly, kind, always have dog treats and a doggy bowl for my little guy. Also, the baked goods are truly some of the best I've had in the city. Those scones are amazing. And of course, the coffee is great, especially the cold brew. Highly recommended!

I was in town visiting my daughter today and she took me here for a quick stop as we started our day out. I had the best gluten free muffin I’ve ever had, the lemonade she had raved about was well deserving of all the raving, and the latte was perfect. The staff made the visit absolutely delightful while being fast and efficient at the window and I plan on making this a regular stop whenever I’m in the neighborhood.

The staff are fantastic, the location is kitschy and the cookies are delicious! The coffee was good bit I've only had the Americano. I am waiting until I sample more of the menu before posting a more thorough review. Heads up there is no shade while waiting in line for service until you are about 5 feet from the window, the hours are rather restricted but it is a coffee place, not a diner so that seems understandable. The atmosphere outside in the lineup is good. Lots of young couples and local foot traffic to keep the conversation upbeat and lively. Lots of parents in the area as well so if you are on your way to a local park for a bit of fun in the sun and need a little pick me up for those 8am monkey bar trips, stop by and grab a cup! In my eyes it's worth it!

I wake up every morning dreaming of their coffee and i know my dogs wake up every morning drooling over their liver treats. You’ll see a lengthy lineup at all hours that they’re open and at any time of the year. Yes - dead middle of a winter snowstorm you’ll see dogs, strollers and coffee enthusiasts waiting in line outside. It is always worth it because of their coffee and service. Definitely the best coffee locale I've been too in the Humewood/St.Clair W area. Staff and ownership are friendly, outgoing, accurate and fast! I highly recommend the cold brew on a hot Toronto summer day. The assortment of baked goods and cold pressed juices are limited however very delicious. Coffee and espresso products always fresh and made to order. We need more local places like this who deliver on standards and customer experience! 5 stars, without any doubts.

I was in York for a business trip and I needed to grab a coffee near my airbnb and this was the closet shop so I went to check it out. BEST DECISION EVER. Beyond just having a great and tasty selection, the staff were so welcoming and kind!!! My only regret is I wish I discovered it sooner, instead of 3 days into my trip. Whenever I happen to be in the area next, I will DEFINITELY visit again :)
