Really wanted to give this place a chance but unfortunately most of the bad reviews here are true. I have nothing but bad things to say about this place so if you’re planning on going here, be warned. We had really low expectations to start since it’s already had a time to settle into this new location and get things right, but this... i can’t even. It deserves a 0 stars. First off, The location, decor and service is meh so if that doesn’t steer you away already then the food will. Nothing they described on the menu (in detail at that) is what you’re going to be served along with terribly crude plate presentation (again, nothing like they depict on the menu). Then, once you get your food and let them know about anything wrong with, asking why it doesn’t look anything like the menu says, they’ll just take it away to be “fixed” and say “we’ll make it right next time”... what does that even mean? Why didn’t they serve it right the first time? I shouldn’t even be telling them how to make a simple breakfast plate for them. its like no one in the kitchen even knows what’s actually on the menu. Plus, seeing how little of a crowd there was on a Late Sunday morning is giving me all the red flags I need to never go there again.

Good place to go for a meal. Friendly staff, nice food. I recommend the Italian Cowboy Burger or the Breaded Haddock. Was too full for dessert, so I can't review that. But overall a great place.

Loved this place before it was burned down at a different location. It is very very good! The decorations are cool, the menu has a lot of options and is unique, lots of super tasty milkshake options. Pulled pork is super tasty, the fries are homemade. The owner is cool too :) I don't know if they do this now because of Covid but they have TVs and headphones they can give out to kids to watch a movie or show.

Had The Hungry Man Breakfast here and it was pretty good. The staff was friendly and service was good. I left satisfied and full.

Just discovered this place recently and my wife and I ate there while at the mall this past week. The décor is pleasant and the staff friendly. The food ( my wife had a pastrami on pumpernickel sandwich and I had the wings. Both were delicious and came with home fries. Not sure I understand the poor reviews...unless these are people looking for "fine dining" without the cost. We will return.

My friend and I stopped in for lunch on Tuesday and we absolutely loved the place. Chuck is amazing, I could have chatted with him all day about the decor and the DIY projects that he pointed out to me. I love the whole vibe of this place. The food was pretty good too ????

Waited approximately 10 minutes to get noticed by a server after sitting down, and the restaurant wasn’t even very busy to begin with. I had tried Chuck’s out at their previous location at the edge of town on the Hardscratch Rd, and don’t particularly like it, so upon hearing all of the buzz of the new location opening at the mall, I decided to give them another chance. The order consisted of Nachos from the regular menu and an order of Mac & Cheese from the children’s menu. Upon receiving the food, the nachos had black burn marks on the top layer, and cold, unmelted shreds of cheddar cheese under the top layer. The nachos were pretty basic - Tomato, onion and cheese. I could have honestly made better at home for way less than the $12 I paid for that. Then, the Mac & Cheese was just a small serving of Kraft Dinner, which is acceptable at home, but when you’re paying for food in a restaurant, you expect the food to be more than boxed, processed macaroni. The only highlights were that our server was friendly and the decor was cool. Definitely will not be returning.

We popped in for a late breakfast. I had the "bacon egger" on an english muffin, my friend had the "lumberjack breakfast". Both of us had coffee as they serve Sissiboo, the very best! And we shared a piece of carrot cake for dessert. The food was very good and even though they were quite busy, our food arrived quickly. Also, our waitress was attentive and very pleasant.

food is good when a good cook is on, but staff is rude and service is spotty, bought a poutine and the menu said "real cheese curds" and was brought a poutine with just a pile of unmelted shredded cheese and cold gravy and wasn't told they didn't have any curds when I ordered. was much better when it was just a food truck

Amazing food and a really nice atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly and all of the burgers are amazing. Prices are surprisingly low. I go to chucks just about every day for lunch

So I went there today because I hear bad stuff all the time about this place but I thought I’d would give them a chance for myself and not go by hear say.well was I ever disappointed the waitress that came to the door looked at me with her eyes up in her head no customer service what do ever I asked for a table she pointed me to a booth very cranky I said no could I please have a table she says “ya this is a table “ I said no I need a table with chairs this is a booth she rolls her eyes at me tells me the tables are wayyyy on the other end so I say you know what if I gotta fight with you to get a table I will be taking my business elsewhere and that’s just what we did so friggen rude not sure how he stays open with a rude waitress like that.

Terrible customer service, the dude with the glasses that waited on us was terribly rude, threw our condoments on the table carelessly, and had a constant look of dispair on his face as if he hated his job. The owner has an over-inflated ego and thinks he's always right, I know this because I worked with him for 2 days and quit because I didn't agree with him at all. He told me on my first day that the customer is never right, and he also stated that he only hires "attractive" people to help boost sales. Oh, the food was undercooked and that signature BBQ sauce is just.. not very good.

My hubby had a burger and mozzarella sticks and he said the mozzarella sticks were the "best he ever had!" (And that is saying a LOT!) I actually yoinked one from his order and they were scrumptious - buttery and creamy with a crispy breading that wasn't too salty! YUM!! My own meal was the "Pulled-Pork Nachos" and I have to say - they were amazing. I got mine "SPICY" and they were the perfect mix of sweet and tangy. The salsa that went with them was also A+! I could only eat half of them - but they were great as leftovers, too! I am so sick of paying nearly $20 for 'chips with a bit of cheese dumped on them.' Not here! This was definitely a full MEAL! The portions were large for very reasonable prices. We LOVED this place and will definitely be returning again (and again!) So many yummy looking items on the menu! MMMm!!

I would give zero if I could, the burgers are 50% filler which include bread crumbs and croutons. The burger I ordered did not even closely resemble the description on the menu, I had the cheesy burger, was supposed to have grilled mozza on the bun and melted cheddar on the patty, with a burger sauce, I got a burger with a cold, fresh out of the bag bun, cold unmelted cheddar on the patty, no mozza at all, there was tomato and lettuce, dont know why that was there it wasnt in the description, no sauce of any kind, and the burger patty was dry and had large chunks of croutons and bread crumb throughout. NOT WHAT I ORDERED AT ALL. When paying the owner asked how the food was, I gave him an honest answer, not very good, he then got defensive, and came up with a bunch of excuses, but not one apology for the bad food!!!

The three stars are for decor...the first time I went, we waited and waited and finally left because no waiter came. The second time, we checked on Facebook to see if it was open for breakfast, Facebook says it opens at 7:00 am...we went, not open...had to go elsewhere...????

Food was good but service was terrible. Waiter acted like he didn't want to be there. Threw the condiments onto our table, meals mixed up, ordered pulled pork nachos got regular nachos. Never did get a bill had to go to the counter. Was not busy so no excuse. Will never go back and definately not recommend. Don't mind paying for good food but do expect good service if paying the price.

My husband and I had gone into the Diner for a bit of lunch August 9 2021 around 1:40 pm. We put our order in and when we received it we were not impressed. However we continued to dig in as we were hungry. I was not happy with mine as there were a few pieces of brown pieces of lettuce and it had a very strong vinegar taste. It was a ceasar Salad. It appeared to me the lettuce was old. The mozza stick were not hot but room temperature. When the waitress asked how we liked out meal. I did comment to her, however don't worry about it. I will eat the mozza sticks. Then came the cook - manager. She was so rude and did not take me serious when I said I don't want to argue with you" However she did not quit. Even when we went to the till. I left the restaurant as my husband dealt with the payment as I did not want to say too much more to her as I had said enough already. In my opinion this person needs to learn Customer Service or be fired and replaced with someone that can make a good business for you.

I visited Yarmouth for an overnight work trip and I googled food near me which led me to this hidden little gem called Chucks Diner. Myself and 2 other co-workers went to get a bite to eat and we walk in 5 mins before closing they were so friendly and courteous and remained open to serve us food which was hands down the best "eat in food" we have ever eaten. My cheesy burger and Onion rings was a definate 10 out of 10, my co-workers fish and chips looked amazing (I look forward to coming back and trying that next) and the other co-worker ordered the Donair nachos and at one point blurted out "This is dope" haha. Thanks for the exceptional service Chucks can't wait to be back for more of your great service and food.
