Honestly I heard about this from a lady who works there and I thought I'd check it out. I went in put in my order with the establishments sweet and friendly staff. I was especially impressed with the overall cleanliness of the restaurant! Then I ate the food and was even more amazed with the quality of food especially for the reasonable prices. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food, a clean restaurant and excellent service! ???????????????????? ^^^^^^ Was what I USED to think of this place until today! I went to order for delivery, the woman on the phone was rude! I get English is not her first language which is fine, I'm a patient person. However, when she starts talking to people in the background in her own language while still on the phone with me and I'm trying to place an order.. NOT good business practice. For some reason they wouldn't substitute an egg roll for a spring roll which they have never had an issue with me before. EXTREMELY displeased! Needless to say, I'll be finding a new Chinese restaurant in town for my business.

We had ordered Cantonise chow main a dish served with egg noodles.. thick egg noodles as as depicted in their photo of the dish,what we received was like an angle hair spegetti type noodle very thin, very disappointing to say the least. We spoke with an employee ,a very arrogant and rude employee who just argued about the noodles overtalking myself when I spoke Don't care for this place the good reveiws must have been on a lucky day,must have been when the owner was there or maybe not.

We used to love it there but twice now we have had this happen the last time we waited an hour and a half and no food..... This time I placed our order at 4:39 and it's now 6:24 and still no delivery and when I try to call and see where my order is I get a automated voice that says they have not set up their voice mail system yet goodbye..... Very disappointed and won't be ordering from here again .....

Saturday night is a good night for Chinese food isn't it? We enjoyed an amazing BBQ pork fried rice that was a brown & smoked pork verses the traditional red BBQ pork, it was very tasty. We also ordered the General Tao chicken which is chicken thigh, it was well cooked & well spiced, sweet & sour chicken balls of course & egg rolls. Everything was good & fresh. We enjoyed for Sunday lunch almost more than on Saturday night dinner. Love those left overs.

Excellent value for food. Family bought Wontons, Chicken balls, Beef with mixed vegitables, noodles with veggies, chicken fried rice and since we payed with cash they threw in 4 spring rolls. All for under $50 and it fed the family of four that night and lunch the next day. We still have leftovers. My family has tried Chinese food from a few different restaurants in Woodstock and this place is the best. Flavour and quantity are great. This will be our go to place for Chinese food in the future.

They give you your meal and then never come back to see how things are or if you want anything else, sat there for 1/2 hr waiting, girls were too busy sitting at their table and only got up when someone came in or the phone rang. Food wasn't great either. Wont be going back there.

We usually order from FuLok where everything is always fresh and delicious. They were closed so we tried this. Never again. The food arrived warm not hot. The Sesame chicken was just spongey batter over dried up chicken pieces. The Chicken rice honestly tasted rancid. We did not eat anything but the Chow Mein which was standard at best. Not recommending.

This is one of my favorite Chinese food places. I drove all the way into Woodstock from from a smaller neighboring town about 20 minutes away. Placed an average sized order, waited and drove back. Opened up the bag to see that I received chicken balls instead of shrimp. I was rather disappointed and called the establishment thinking perhaps they would leave a credit there for my next order. To my amazement and pleasant surprise they were aware of the mishap as soon as I had called. Not only did they apologize for the mixup but they drive the order all the way to my house. I'm extremely impressed, I will remain a loyal patron and will be certain to spread the word. I can honestly say not only is this good food but the service is something to be admired.

Taste Of China is our favourite Chinese food restaurant of all time. The food is delicious and prices are terrific for all that you get. The staff are very friendly and go the extra mile. We had a large crowd coming on a holiday Monday (the restaurant is closed Mondays) and placed our order on Sunday night with a plan to reheat the food the next day. The chef and hostess said 'no, no" and came in on the Monday to make the food fresh for us. Who does that? Our guests loved the food and were blown away by their generousity. Fans forever!! Thank you for making our gathering a great success. ????

Always delicious food, right in the heart of Woodstock's international district. It's not buffet but great none the less. If I had anything negative to say, the last order I placed (for pickup) they did forget something. However they were very apologetic and told me if it happens again, they'd deliver the missed item(s) to me. It's a great little restaurant here in Woodstock!

Just moved to Woodstock and trying out the local restaurants. Had Wonton Soup and Eggrolls for 2 people. Wonton Soup has no bok choy or pork slices which is unfortunat, broth was flavourful and wonton meat filling was quite tasty. The wonton noodle wrapper has a really thick doughy end but we just cut off the ends and enjoyed the soup. Eggrolls are my favourite side dish and they were good ! Would definitely order again and look forward to tasting more of the menu.

Up til now, all food ordered from here has been good. Tonight the sesame chicken was dry. The cheese wontons had shrimp in them.....I had clearly asked for cheese only. Never had a complaint in the past however...lemon chicken sauce taste like dish soap, fried rice wasn’t it’s usual brown colour it was white, my won ton soup was brown and after reading other review about staples in the food on more than one occasion I don’t even want to eat another bite of my left overs. Waste of $$$...Overall we will not eat here again!.

We sat at the table for a good 20 minutes and not one person working there even acknowledged that we were there and it's a small restaurant. Not even to bring a menu or a drink. We left and went to Mark's Chop Suey and were served right away. Very poor service here

After 45 mins they called me and told me it would be another 45 mins. After that other 45 mins they called and told me it would be another 25 mins. After 30 mins they called to say that they had run out of beef so made the dish with chicken and said that the order was out for delivery. Waited 20 mins more for them to deliver an order 5 blocks away from them then had to call and cancel the order. I will never order from them again.

I used to come to this restaurant back in 2012 or so and the food was amazing. The quality of food has gone down so much its shocking, like they didnt even try. The singapore rice noodles which were my fave this time were way too over seasoned yet bland and dry. I called and they replaced them, and the replacement was worse! Never going here again, and it used to be my favorite Chinese in Woodstock. I dont know what happened but the restaurant sucks now. Also Ive felt sick and had a stomach ache since eating it. I think they lie about their usage of MSG.

Very unhappy with the hospitality of the staff. Asked for a beef and noodle dish they gave me a name I didn't know about and they brought me shrimp and chicken noodles and won't honor the mistake. Forgot my chicken balls and expected me to wait another half hour for the replacement ..bad attitude on the person answering the phone as well

Not sure how this place received 4 stars? The food came out as soon as I received my drink. Preheated food not what I expect from 4 star. The chicken fried rice is made with chicken protein not even real chicken...Crazy that I have to explain to my kids that people use fake meat to make a bigger profit. Where has the dignity gone?

Was used to having good experiences but recently was given some sort of breaded boneless pork when I had ordered the spareribs (always the same order) Unfortunately I was made to drive all the way back with the food as proof but was only argued with about how there was some bones in the small breaded pieces (there wasnt) Ended up getting fed up and leaving after waiting instead of being helped they just kept helping new people coming in. They brought me out some extra rolls and soda pop? But could not manage to get a coherent answer why I could not get actual spareribs. I'm not sure what has happened here if they have no ribs just say so but we will not be going back.

We were excited to try taste of China as we never have been and we do like to support our downtown businesses. I would like to start off by the beginning of our service was great. We ordered dinner for 3b, along with 3 wonton soups... They brought out 1 wonton soup handed it to the guy across from us, and it sat on his table (wasnt watching if they touched it or not) then when the waitress came around, he said that wasnt his soup. So she picked up the soup and brought it to the other waitress . And then brought it to our table...that is absolutely disgusting to hand another customers their food. When speaking to the lady she told me that it was alright to eat he didnt touch it (however she didnt ask him) nor shouldn't be done anyways. The food was cold, not good at all. No flavor, mixed vegetables consists of brocclie and carrots. Unfortunately we will not go back. We will be letting others know of this disgusting service and food.

Cheap and yummy food. Would suggest getting the fried rice and chicken balls because you get a huge plate of the food to share with someone. If going alone, there combo's are very good and cheap. Service is quick and food is served hot and you could have a nice dinner with a friend or two for only a total cost of 20 dollars all together.

Ordered the "Dinner for Eight" when hosting a family get-together. Excellent price for the volume of food, could have easily fed 10+ people. I had leftovers for the next week or so. Take-out order was ready very quickly, in only 20 minutes or so. Everything seemed to be cooked well, but flavour was lacking in certain dishes. Sweet-and-sour and lemon sauces were bland, particularly the lemon sauce. The sesame chicken was a stand-out winner - easily the best dish included with the order. The chicken fried rice, lo mein, and chop suey were okay, but just "okay". Flavours were not bold enough for my palate and I'd have liked to see more panache in the use of spices. Would order here again, but will probably single-out the particularly flavourful dishes like sesame chicken instead of ordering a large combo.

We got delivery. It took over an hour and the food was terrible. Chicken and chop suey had a slimy film on it. All of it tastes like it was cook in a dirty pan. So gross. Nice clean place decorated well. Food: wonton soup was the best I've had, good flavour. Everything is store made and fresh. Now for the rest. General Tao was really good, chicken balls were filled but over cooked greasy orange chicken good but sauce was thin. Rice, egg rolls were hard to taste with grease. Food was really hot and was fresh. Dumplings were good too sauce seemed like it was a mix of red sauce and chilli sauce. Staff was very friendly. Mentioned about grease was apologized to and he asked for next time a reminder? We Will go again but will asks for less grease.

1st the food is great, however customer service needs some major attention. A few times now I call in to pre order to pick up food get ask to please hold..which I get when busy ..no problem.
