My stay was very relaxing. The room was clean and quiet. Michelle and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We have stayed here previously and always enjoyed it.
I was surprised that there was only on-street parking. It would have been helpful to have been made aware of this prior to arrival. Otherwise, staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean. Pillows were very flat, though!
Our stay was good, with a clean and comfortable room. We were charged an additional "Eco fee" even though we had prepaid. The cost was low, but was an unexpected small expense that was not clearly explained. I would recommend this hotel, overall.
The hotel was quiet and over all well maintained, but could use some cosmetic upgrades.
Great hotel. Beautifully renovated and a wonderful staff.Once we got to the room it was nice and clean and had no problems with it.
Hotel is simply run down and old,4 floors with no elevators. The best part of Hotel Manager was good and bedding clean.
The parking was little away and in an intersection so was little worried that someone might break in the car or steal the car...We were fined for my friend smoking in the room...it was my mistake and I forgot to tell my friend not to …
Very bad smell. No elevator beyond the 2nd floor. Bad breakfast. Nice service though.
It was a nice place that wasn't too fancy. Basicallt it's a place to lay your head and sleep. They let us check in very early and we got 30 mins extra to checkout. The receptionist was very nice and funny and we enjoyed our stay.
Bed was small, bathroom was dirty, asked for a room change and they said i¿d have to pay even though they said we were the only people in the hotel because it was xmas. Unfriendly staff, trash room.. 0/10 if i could
This is the forth time I've enjoyed an extended stay at this property. It's always clean and they strive to keep it updated. The front desk staff is unfailingly consistent and always nice.
Recently we stayed at the Econo Lodge in Woodstock while visiting a sick relative. Booking online was quick and simple, as was checking in. Our room was nice and clean, comfortable and best of all pet friendly. The free continental …
I went to Econolodge to use the Greyhound services. I was pleased with the knowledge and help I got. The front desk clerk is a ticket agent, therefore someone is always there to help
Friendly staff. Halfway decent room but there were soft spots in the floor in the hallway and in the room. There was a hole in the wall in our room and the back of the bathroom door and door frame was absolutely filthy. No breakfast available due to Covid with no offer of an alternative. There is NO on site parking, just 2 hour limit street parking.
Safe, friendly environment puts us at ease ensuring a restful sleep and the location works for us. We like the characteristics and charm of the older building. Free breakfast, helpful advice and quick service are a plus.
The overall experience was pretty good. The staff were very friendly and approachable. Clean room, nice working shower, and the bed was good as well. But the breakfast needs work. Not much variety at all. Only a few items were available.
Lisa and Joanne provide exemplary customer service. Close to all activities in the downtown core. Clean and comfortable rooms. Well stocked breakfast selection with hot coffee..
They sold me a greyhound ticket with the most amazing service ever, there were fireworks and taco stands galore with midgets in sombreros juggling in every room.
Good location with easy access to downtown. Nice rooms aND comfortable beds. Their technology was causing issues when I was there but it was handled quickly and professionally.
I will definitely choose econolodge again and I have already given recommendations about this specific location. Pet Friendly is why I chose this location and the fact that they were just as wonderful to my dog as they were to us just makes it that much better. A great stay for us
Econolodge is run by friendly and accommodating staff. It is very clean, reasonably priced and close to downtown restaurants or evening dinner. I highly recommend it and will book next time I have business in Woodstock.
Always clean. Continental breakfast excellent. Staff always courteous and willing to assist with your check in and out needs.
Edit after calling my bank my discrepancy was handled with no issue...the staff is very friendly and I feel it is a good quality room for the price
So dirty, this place disgusted me from the second I walked in the door. There was hair in the shower stall, stains on the bedding and had to park a block away
It was a beautiful hotel but their cleaning standards are not up to par at first glance everything is amazing but when looking at details they lacked alot the soap holders in the tub still had soap residue, there was a peice of garbage in the sink, found a French fry on the floor in the middle of the room. And the stairs from main front desk to the bottom level was not clean/vacuumed at all. But on a positive note the employee was really friendly and kind and it was only 88$ for 2 people to have a decent size room with a king bed.
This place sucks. I know it's cheap, but at the very least expect a certain level of cleanliness. It looked like someone had vomited in the bath tub. I didn't see this until the morning, so I couldn't shower before leaving. Totally unacceptable and disgusting. I told the front desk and showed them pics, but they did nothing to rectify the situation. Unprofessional.
Best hotel in Woodstock!!! The staff are so friendly and more then willing to help you in anyway they can. The housekeeping staff are amazing at what they do, the room was so clean. I love that you guys are a pet friendly hotel as well. Check in was so easy and painless, the young lady working front desk, was very polite. She also gave us lots of good ideas of where to eat, and even asked us if our room was okay when we were heading out of the hotel! We will definitely be staying here again when we are back in Woodstock area.
we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. it is always clean, it is located in downtown, close to the main attractions. staff is very friendly. breakfast is quite abundant. Good value for the money. …
I go to that little hotel from time to time when I go to Woodstock. It is quiet, the room are simple. But the parking is on the other side of the street. It is downtown, near few restaurants.
Wi-Fi doesn't work. Very bad cleaning services. Very minimal breakfast. Staff barely accommodating. Free coffee is limited to certain number (2per day)in ur room and all gone after breakfast in "dining area" bathroom smelled bad and cleaning services had to be shown how/where to clean. And still didn't do it right. When I initially walked in there were dead flies on windows and dirty frig...need I say more....?????
we were there for my daughter's hockey tournament...rooms were spacious and clean with very comfortable beds and the staff was fantastic....warm, friendly and accommodating. we had no issues. unlike other hotels, they allowed parents to …
The hotel is in the heart of downtown with plenty of facilities near by for shopping and dining. It has on street parking but we were fortunate to find a place. The hotel is clean and comfortable and …
I was really impressed with this hotel. I remember this building over 35 years ago, and can not believe how nice it is now! The staff were amazing. The room was really outstanding for the price. I've stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels, that do not come close.
Spent less than 24 hours here for business and woke up to a $250 charge for smoking in the room? I don't smoke. They are trying to rip off "tourists"
Overall not a good experience. There's no elevator so if your on the fourth floor get ready to walk. The WiFi is horrible. It might have worked for 5 minutes before we called the front desk to get them to reset it. And it still didn't work. You have to park down the road in a small parking lot away from the hotel. We were nervous our van full of gear was going to get broken into. The only plus side to this hotel is that it's in a very close to downtown with a lot of resurants
Recently spent a night and found it very clean and presentable. Newly renovated. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Definitely a stopover if we are in Woodstock again
Our stay at the Woodstock Econo Lodge was very pleasant. Originally I was disappointed that we were unable to book last-minute accommodations in Stratford, but it actually turned out better for us to stay in Woodstock. Not only did we get to know this very friendly city, but we also had the pleasure of staying at an excellent hotel.
This is obviously an older building and it is pretty worn out and beat up. The bed itself was clean and comfortable, but the cleaning of the rest of the room was more questionable. The breakfast wasn't very good (bread products and muffins were stale, milk not kept cool and looked expired - the container looked nasty). The price is low so if it's all you can afford, it's a fine place to sleep, but there are surely nicer options in the area.
The questions asked in the survey cover all the things one would consider when in a hotel. While there is no parking at this Econo Lodge, there is parking affiliated with it a short distance away.
Better than expected. Bare bones hotel but the rooms were nice. Linens were nice but not enough towels for 2 people. Pillows were not the best but the bed was comfy.
I just got a room here first time and hallways smelt cigarettes, dirty sheets. Weird guests everywhere. I got my money back and left. reception knew the room is drity.
The Woodstock Hotel for Econo Lodge was very clean, conveniently located and the staff were really nice. When I travel to Woodstock Ontario, and need a hotel, I will look these guys up again.. Jam, Ontario, Canada
The building is old but has been updated. It is clean and the beds are comfortable. I don't like the fact that you have to park on the street.
We were so impressed with our stay. This hotel is immaculate from the lobby to our spotless room!! The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the location with so many restaurants and shops within strolling distance. We couldn't have asked for anything more ~ and will definitely be back!!!
Will be back everytime I'm in town …
Only once did I have a unpleasant experience at checkout but other then that beautiful rooms good staff
My brother and sister-in-law shared our accessible room for the weekend and we had lots of room. The staff are extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. A good place to stay in downtown Woodstock.
Needed a place to sleep for a weekend event in London; they were very hospitable and it was a clean, quiet hotel.
We booked the last available room, but Michelle called us to offer us to upgrade to a non-smoking room as it became available. What a great service! The room exceeded my expectations, clean, spacious, a nice kitchenette and a beautiful bathroom.
I needed a place to sleep after a show in woodstock. I got to the hotel at 4am and they wanted me to check out same day at 11am and charged me $89. They would not give it to me for half off even tho it was the same day I was leaving. They told me that their manager Michelle would call me to talk about some kind of reimbursement or free stay because the people who work their are not allowed to make decisions. Michelle never called.
The hotel was okay, not terrible, not spectacular. It's a nice value hotel for those who are on a tight budget. The staff were nice. My biggest concern was the tiny parking lot. I prefer to park in a lot rather than on the street when staying at a hotel. Because the hotel was completely booked up, I had to park on the street.
Everything was great except dusting needs to be done in bedroom. Nice big room, bed, liked having a microwave along with fridge and coffee maker. Service is always fast and friendly.
Although the location is great and right downtown. I would recommend staying at a different hotel. When my party of 3 arrived to check in I was charged for 2 extra guest staying in the room. The room was ok but there was mice droppings in the bathroom.
The customer service is really friendly. The location is convenient. The room is big enough. To find a parking lot, need across the street, also need to ask parking ticket from dest. Need Pay Attention to the price!!! The price is not what you booked online. They will ask for an extra fee. About $8 to $10 extra fee will apply when you check-in.
Wonderful place to stay ! Excellent, very friendly staff and great service .We were told about the breakfast times for the following morning and it was great lots of selection.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was allowed to check in a little early and stay a little later. The hotel is nothing fancy, but it's all I needed...a clean, quiet place to sleep. If I need to stay in Woodstock again, I will stay here.
No problems, it's just a nice place to stay on a road trip. Not extravagant, but extremely worth the price. Would definitely stay here again.
Very good experience.Breakfast is good - a little bit cramped, and parking could be a problem if the hotel is busy. The room was super clean and the staff was very professional and thorough.
The breakfast is what pushed it from 2 to 3 stars. I do enjoy a bagle and cream cheese. You have to park in a school parking lot though. And because the 3rd floor is a smoking floor, the non smoking 4th floor smells like cigarettes.
