Amazing food for any time and I would recommend a smoothie and the french toast! It was heavenly! Definitely my favourite cafe and I love the vibe and how nice it is on the inside! Picked up some dessert to take home. Really disappointing had to throw out. Pecan bars, date squares, and lavender shortbread. All were stale. Pecan square could not even cut. Shortbread was raw. Date square was mush. Wow miss the old Taloola their desserts were always delicious.

Very chill vibe, artsy, cool vintage decor, delicious soup (I had the carrot and potatoe) and personable staff! I would go back to Windsor just for this place haha ????

Excellent live music with 'Liv & Quinn. On another note I find the cappacino to be too small for the price paid. Make sure you ask for steam milk that is heated first or the cappacino is lukewarm.

Great food and a fantastic atmosphere - but *no WIFI*. The small investment to supply internet to patrons would be well worth the repeat business, especially since they don't have many competitors in the neighbourhood. For a cafe like this, its a dealbreaker!

I just wanted to say thank you to the staff at Taloolas Cafe (in particular the girl whom was working the counter this evening). My boyfriend has severe allergies, and not only is this a safe place for us to go on dates, but the staff understood and were amazing about my Moms (whom can be very aggressive about paying the bill). The girl who helped us tonight prevented my boyfriend's mom from paying - and (probably unknowingly) prevented a giant uproar (as one of my Moms is 75 and doesn't hold back) but it was important because my family and myself are from Toronto- we were only here to help because her entire basement is ruined due to the flood, and that's a lot to deal with on her own (without adding dinner bills on top of it). You helped a lot, and I'm sure you felt flustered and/or attacked and I'm truly sorry for that but I just wanted to let you know that you really helped someone out today, even if you didn't know it. Thank you, very, very much.

I hadn’t been to Taloola in 7+ years after living out of province during that time. Taloola used to have a sandwich called ‘Tofu Droo’ which was my favourite for years but they dropped it off the menu. I found a new favourite of theirs: Grilled Chichi! Soooo good!

It is truly wonderful to see a restaurant like Taloola's doing well in Windsor. Their healthy offerings are both delicious and a big step above the greasy offerings at most places. Also, the atmosphere is fantastic. This is a wonderful local business worth supporting. If you haven't tried it out, go for it!

Taloola is a quiet little cafe tucked away in the heart or walkerville. It is a quick walk from every restaurant in the area making it a nice stop after dinner, or a great "pick me up" in the middle of the day. The space is warm and inviting and the staff are kind and courteous. Skip your Tims or Starbucks and give them a try, the prices are fair and you won't be disappointed.

Love this place. Great home made foods, each dish is made with care. Espresso-based drinks here are hit or miss, depending on who the barista is. There’s a young guy that works here that knows exactly how to make a great Americano, without over-extracting the espresso shot. Most of the other baristas I’ve had have made underwhelming espresso drinks. Great place for a light lunch or breakfast, with an extensive tea menu.

Taloolas has a great environment and is one of only a small number of interesting coffee shops in Windsor. One downside i that Taloolas does not have internet. I get that this is Windsor and we are all glad this city has street lights but a decent coffee shop without internet just seems weird. Vancouver to Toronto even the smallest place has Wi-Fi. Taloolas seems stuck in 2003, not 2013. Besides the glaring lack of internet access its a nice coffee shop.

Music was very good. Too bad the stage area wasn't bigger so that a percussionist could have joined the two musicians. Also there was no room for a small PA for the singer to use a mike. The food was tasty but the kielbasa sandwhich had next to know meat in it. When my husband and I were done eating it, we were still hungry and had to eat at home not less than a half hour after eating their sandwhich. Prices were quite steep for drinks and meals except for coffe, of which my husband said that coffee was bland. Vegans may like this place. Hopefully, things will improve the next time we visit.

I've been going to this place since it opened and it had the best coffee. Its and older building with a lot of charm and cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately its no longer owned by a lady who ran a tight ship. The coffee is no longer drinkable. Its been painted but not for the better and the cleanliness is no longer apparent.

I walked in a server said hello, I sat in a table and waited and waited, the waiters keep coming with food and drinks for the tables beside me and I was right in front of the door where they could see me everytime they bring something. I was expecting a menu. well nobody bother to mention that if I wanted something, I had to go to the front and pay first. Not good customer service. I am glad I only came for the weekend.

If you want somewhere to go for tea and a bite to eat, this is an amazing place! They have a wonderful selection of teas, coffees, and treats to choose from. The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing - my friends and I will sometimes go just to write or study in a nice place. My only complaint is that the portions of food are small and overpriced...if you go hungry, it's impossible to get full without buying at least 3 food items on the menu.

I'm a friendly down to earth kind of person. The cashier here was extremely rude to me for no reason. I thanked her twice and she turned the other way and ignored me completely. The only reason i can think of is that i am from a middle eastern background. When i came back later and asked her about why she is ignoring me thanking her for such a terrible service she said in a very rude way " I don't know what you are talking about" i know people like this and hypocrites they promote peace, veganisem, yoga and meditation yet they are truly lost and have no connection to humanity what so ever. Its not about "feeling a vibe" its about being kind to one another.

I use to go there every morning for coffee.. I don't no what they did to there coffee but it is not the same as before at all taste like water with sugar in it. ???? and the price for coffee jumped from a very reasonable price to crazy.. mcdonalds has better lol also being a vegan restaurant they use paper plates and cups for everything ... what they can't wear gloves and run it through a hot dish water... covids going to be around basically for ever there just going to contribute more waste which in the end is bad for animals. So much for being vegan friendly... if your not going to eat animals be kind to the environment as well ????

It's a funky little place, perfect for light meals. Their daily soup and stew are always vegan friendly. Their desserts are delightful and recognize dietary restrictions, so just about everyone can have a sweet ending. They have a vast assortment of teas and coffees, and they are licensed, so you can have a glass of wine.

Terrible. This was my first and last visit. Firstly, they are covid super spreaders. Not only did the woman touch my phone and start swiping when I showed by vaccination status, but she also touched my hand. If that is not bad enough, she forced me to physically touch a screen to give her, or refuse her, a tip. Aside from that, the cost of a single cup of black coffee came to $3.90, and they (believe it or not) do not have wifi!

Love this place. Atmosphere is top notch and the coffee, desserts, and sandwiches are really good. I wish they had better breakfast though. The selection for breakfast isn't great and some of the dishes miss the mark. With some off the other coffee spots opening up in Walkerville with better food they need to improve breakfast or they are going to have problems. I hope they figure that out because I really love this place in my neighborhood.

My boyfriend and I just moved to Windsor and set out on a mission to get to know all the best local spots. We stumbled upon Taloola by accident on a Sunday afternoon. Taloola has a unique atmosphere and a notable vegan selection. The service and coffee however were not ideal. We showed up at 3:00 pm (it closed at 4pm). We order two cups of house brewed coffee and a vegan peanut butter cookie. The space is very small and there was only one table available, which was dirty. We waited there for a few moments to see if someone would come and clean it. Eventually, we gave up and cleaned it ourselves. It appeared as if they were in a rush to close early or something because they were out of house brewed coffee at ~3:15 pm and informed us they would brew some more without asking about our desired roast. Instead they gave us coffee from a french press, which was far too strong and swimming with coffee grinds. They didn't bother to inform us of their desire to avoid brewing another pot or ask if we wanted anything different, which was quite bold. We are avid french press lovers and make it at home all the time, so not only were we unimpressed with the hack job, we were irked we weren't given the option of getting something else more suitable (like tea etc). When I asked the gentleman about what type of coffee he had given us, and he was quite cold, mumbled something about a french press and pretended like he was too busy cleaning up. Furthermore, the coffee station was a mess and out of cream. I realize it was ~3:30pm and they closed at 4pm, but the lack of professionalism left a bad taste far worse than the coffee did. The peanut butter cookie wasn't anything to write home about, but we did see some of the dishes others were ordering and it looked quite good. Lastly, there is no wifi available here, which was disappointing but understandable given the limited space. If you're looking for a place to have a quick vegan/healthy lunch - then this place is ideal. However, if you're looking for a decent spot to spend a couple hours sipping coffee, studying, reading etc., this is not the place.

The food, the atmosphere is awesome. My friends and I sit in a booth or table for hours, talking drawing and enjoying the whole experience. A art show was created here, the drawings for the show which ran at a close by gallery for a week a few years back. New friendships are made here and couples on a first date or a date night enjoy afternoons and evenings here.
