Very cool cafe with many different flavors or gelato to choose from. Probably the best gelato I've ever had. Its a little on the expensive side and there is not a lot of room if you are bringing a large group.

Best coffee in town! I usually get cafe latte You can bring your own dairy free milk and they can make you the cafe latte-dairy free It's as good as the dairy cafe latte. Staff are friendly and the coffees are reasonable price Street parking is right outside of the shop. Highly recommend this place

Gennaro Cafe is amazing! The homemade gelato is spectacular and the employees are fantastic. Bring cash, as this place is "old fashioned" and doesn't accept credit/debit cards. Gennaro Cafe is my go-to dessert spot after dinner nearby!

None of the gelatos were on display and there weren't many to choose from. The person behind the counter mentioned a few flavours and went to a back room and brought out the gelato in a cup. My friend found a long piece of hair in it that was blonde and neither of us are blondes. She didn't want to make a big deal so we didn't say anything. The hot chocolate was made from powder but he did add a nice foam to the top. Simple decor with a second room with a large group of older men. Not a lot of options for the fall season.

Amazing!!! Always loved and picked up the ground coffee and gelato here. I was feeling withdrawal since the cafe has been closed, but found out that I can order delivery. Had an order placed and it was delivered within 3 hours???? I just made a double espresso and had it with blueberry gelato. Thank you!!!!!

The owner and his coffee is good, got so comfortable with this establishment that one day I purchased a new high end espresso machine from his son, it worked ok for three months, then stopped working. I was forwarded to Colonial Coffee for warranty work, the result was that someone had messed around with the interior of the machine for some reason, therefore I was told no warranty, basically this Cafe sold me used espresso equipment returned as new and then blew me off, nice business practise, go elsewhere, do not trust these crooks.

Love the gelato here! Typically I get the Kinder but I heard they may be discontinuing it. The Ricotta Cheese, Coconut, and Nutella are pretty close seconds to the Kinder but it is a huge disappointment.

This place reminds me of the bars in Italy where you can get a espresso or a latte macchiato a true Italian Espresso not Starbucks to go along with gelato or a nice little digestivo. Wish I had someplace like this back in Cleveland. Keeps me coming back to Windsor.

I recently went to Gennaro's and the customers that usually hang out at the front entrance yelled out racist remarks at my husband and I. They were on both sides of the sidewalk and mask less. You could tell that they were inebriated and looking for a fight. We entered anyway and purchased a gelato but ended up throwing it in the garbage later on because we were so disturbed and saddened by the event. I have no doubt that management at Gennaro's is kind and welcoming but customers and some staff don't take kindly to customers who they feel are outsiders. It is very sad when you are made to feel like an outsider in the country you were born in. I am sad to say that I will never visit Gennaro's again out of fear for my safety.

Disappointed! Def not a “coffee shop;” they just happen to have coffee. It’s a Gelato shop. Blah atmosphere- as in none! Not cozy at all; terrible vibe. Not friendly. And seriously, cash only?? If you are a coffee nut, and love coffee shops, this is NOT a place to visit. Wasted walk, wasted time.

The homemade gelato is very refreshing! The mixture of the blueberry or strawberry with the tartness of the lemon are awesome, you only need a small because they fill it up and if is very sweet!
