Such a great coffee place! We are traveling across Canada currently and this is our favorite coffee shop by far. We are coffee fanatics from BC and this place has won our hearts. The coffee is great, the baked goods are delicious and the people that work there are some of the friendliest most welcoming people we've encountered. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

The owners and staff are very kind and friendly. On more than one occasion I was offered an item free of charge; on the house. A very cozy place with very cozy drinks and pastries. Amazing coffee spot! Great vibes, friendly staff, and delicious baked goods. The scone-wich is unreal and the breakfast bagel is also great! If you appreciate quality coffee this is the place to go.

Such a perfect selection of baked goods. So many places load their sweets up with sugar to the point that it hurts your teeth to eat them, but the sweetness level is right on point here. Must try is the egg sconewich and the rosemary pine nut shortbread, but you really can't go wrong with anything! (The coffee is great too ????)

What a gem!!! The coffee is delicious and the food...well I had a morning bagel with hard boiled egg, extra crispy bacon, special sauce on a cheese bagel and it was the BEST bagel I have ever had!!! I can;t wait to go back!!! Cute tiny shop with lots of gluten free choices. No tables inside and only a few outside so we hit the nearest park to sit and enjoy our goodies!

Great little cafe! On a Sunday afternoon it got pretty packed, but at the busiest there were usually a few seats open. Seating along the windows or at large tables in the middle. Would recommend the apple bacon and brie panini! Delicious!

Laid back atmosphere and friendly staff. Some good options for smaller meals. The real star here is the coffee. Flavourful and balanced, some of the best I've tried. The seasonal menu options are nice, and unique to Anchor. This location has large windows in the front, letting in lots of natural light, I like this as it's more environmentally friendly, reducing electricity use for lighting.

One of the best spots in all of Windsor-Essex for AMAZING specialty coffee, bags of locally-roasted coffee beans and awesome food! Friendly staff that will definitely put a smile on your face, cozy atmosphere with lots of table space to work, Chemex and other coffee accessories for sale along with sweet coffee swag and more! A definite must-visit if you enjoy coffee and haven’t been yet!!

Cozy little place. And if selective on ingredients (gluten, vegan) you might want to look at it. Coffee is good as in normal coffee :-) just a pretty penny. Basically a yuppie place that is not Starbucks. So it is better than starbucks.

Love this place! Great atmosphere and lovely workers. The London Fog cookie is my favourite, and the breakfast bagel is fantastic. The espresso taste is great but I find it lacking enough espresso in the iced drink for it to be $5 which is why they lost a star. Overall, great weekend spot!

Came here for coffee... It didn't disappoint. They have both filter coffee and espresso based drinks. Didn't try the food, but it looked great. There was a good mix of substantial items (filled bagels, scone sandwiches) and more snacky items (cookies, biscotti etc). The filter coffee was $3 and delicious. Perfectly roasted and brewed.

I am so excited to rate this spot today. I feel like I just discovered my new favourite spot. I recommend this place to anyone who is new to the city and is looking for cafe spots to try. I had the vanilla latte and it was really nice. I also enjoyed the vibe. The staff are really friendly and welcoming as well. I will definitely being going back to try other items on their menu.

Bakery tasted fresh and delicious. Tea tasted rather cold, watery, lacking the real taste of tea and frankly lacking overall quality of product and service standards. Coffee is again same problems as the tea above. Service is friendly the coffeeshop ambiance are good.

All I can say is WOOOOWWW!! I'm coming from out of town on a work trip but this is the best café I have ever been to hands down. The food is incredibly delicious and fresh, so tasty!! The coffee was amazing and the service is probably the best I've ever gotten anywhere, the girl at the front counter was so sweet and helpful! I travel to Windsor often for work and will definitely be back to try more! I would never take time out of my lunch break to write a review, but I just had to XD

Cozy tucked away café in walkerville. Always have great service and good baked goods everytime I've gone. The staff are always pleasant. Because it's such a gem, it can be hard to find space sometimes. Just wish they had more patio space to enjoy their delicious coffee outside.

Great products, friendly staff, and a large comfortable space with good wifi. Prices are rather high for the area, but the constant stream of customers through the door seems to signal Anchor can command them. 4pm closing time is disappointing. Lavender Lemon squares are unique and excellent.

Coffee is amazing, the best espresso shots I have ever tried. I can say I have tried quite a few in North America. The coffee experience is comparable to the best coffee places in Toronto, the seating is good, very nice ambiance. Parking is plenty but on the street though. Barista is knowledgable, very friendly staff.

Very nice atmosphere but somewhat expensive and crowded. Only 3 tables, that seat around 6 people and small bar stools along the side. You can tell they've worked hard to make it a positive environment and very helpful staff. Food is limited as far as meals go, desserts are delishious. Overall great experience

I went with a group of people and stayed outside to reserve a table on the patio. So I can only speak to the quality of the food. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese to be picked up by a companion. They didn't offer smoked salmon on the bagel so I had it just with the cream cheese. The bagel tasted fine - nothing really special - but the patio was quiet and comfortable. An umbrella provided protection from the sun. Since I'm not a coffee drinker I probably wouldn't have chosen this place if I was alone, but that's not a reflection on them.

The atmosphere in this place is fantastic. The folks behind the desk were very friendly and great at recommending choices! I ended up settling for a blueberry lemonade with a banana oat bar and both were excellent. Lots of gluten free and vegan options for those so inclined, as well! Due to the nature of the products, it is a little on the pricier side, but the quality makes it well worth it!

Nice place! Unfortunately coffee was disappointing... ordered a cappuccino and the foam and ratio of milk to espresso were way off from what one would expect. Espresso was super over extracted too. That said, baked goods looked yummy! Update for the owner: I hear you on preference, but cappuccino ratios are fairly objective. Mine was basically an Americano with foam on top, which was surprising given the $1 charge for milk alts

Cute Cozy little coffee shop right off of Wyandotte. Quiet neighborhood. In the former little white kitchen building with virtually no changed aesthetic. Coffee is a little bit expensive and sandwiches are simple yet delicious. I had the blt and it was nicely done with a great sauce on it. Coffee is delicious and staff are friendly. Service is very quick as well.

Lovely decor, with an open layout, shared tables and wifi. Quintessential creative class meets trendy homey coffee and baked goods spot. Lines can get long (I was there on a Saturday afternoon) which make for the perfect storm of perceived first world problems such as: How long will I be waiting? OMG What do I want?! Will I be able to get a seat by the time we're thru this? Do they have any plant based baked good options?(not really), but yummy looking soups and warm food options. I'll be back.
