Well worth the price! Generous portions, excellent quality, lovely ambiance, good variety, clean space and friendly staff. Have had two different daily specials so far - perogis with Bavarian sausage and chicken pot pie. Their dessert squares look great and taste even better, you really cannot go wrong here. I will absolutely be back for more!

Very expensive for what you get. I ordered the elk smokie and have had better hotdogs at 7 eleven. They microwave them. The server put margarine on the bun which I didn't want, forgot my ketchup and onions and seemed like she didnt really care. Ate half and left.

Should never miss the Deli when visiting Whitehorse, it's so good that if you're going for lunch make sure you arrive early, and bring your appetite. The borscht is wonderful, as are the salads.

Friendly staff. Expecting to see more hot items available other than frozen and or cold. Ate the roastbeef sandwich made to order from sandwich counter. I was asked to pay for additional cheese, I said no. They give you a very small amount of REAL cheese but it only covers half the sandwich? They need to fix that. I enjoyed the sandwich otherwise. Will come back again to try something else.

Here it is all about the food.... take out... eat in.... deli choices. Really tasty deli sandwiches, soups and salads and reasonable prices. Try the Workman' s plate.... bison sausages and mustard for dipping with a side of potato salad. No great marks for style but.... all the best things that are bad for you!

The Yukon is known historically for the gold rush but there is a jewel known as The Deli in Whitehorse. Whether a sandwich or one of their hot meals, the food is hearty and sophisticated with a home style flair. They have an in house butcher shop that allows them to not only craft unique dishes but also provide meat that you can take home to enhance your own home cooking. The friendly and knowledgeable staff truly have a passion for food which comes through with every bite. If you are a local or traveler, a visit to this establishment is a must!!

The sandwiches are so good here and will keep you full for a while. I always come here at least once every time I'm in Whitehorse for work. I haven't gotten their hot food items but they look delicious! The place is booming with people over lunch hour but don't worry, the line goes quickly.

I always have great service at the Deli! The food is priced appropriately. The sitting and dining atmosphere isn't the best. It's a bit cafeteria-like, but generally local artist's work is displayed on the wall so there's always something new to see :) Also, the sauerkraut is amaazzziiinnnggg! ????

Great sandwichs. Everytime I visit Whitehorse I'll stop by. My aunt in the hospital asked for a sandwich so I went there a little after they closed their sandwich counter. They were super friendly and helped me out in a time of need. Check them out you won't be disappointed.

This is the place you want for a sandwich. They layer the meat/cheese slices to get some thick sandwiches. Only issue would by the lack of seating due to COVID. Just ask for it to go.

I flew out to Whitehorse for 2 reasons. To work and to eat their sandwich. I came here 8 years ago and it's still the same old memorable taste. I've convinced EVERY co-worker with me to have a sandwich made here and everyone came back to me and said that they are full of regret that they never discovered this place. I dunno if I can write anymore but this is a fantastic place

The customer service is lacking based on my one recent experience with the Deli. The person who served me came across as being impatient. She wasn't very pleasant and didn't appear to want to serve customers at that moment in time. It could be she was having a bad day (or hour). I may have had a better experience if I went at another time. Pros: - The tomato/basil soup is fantastic, and I don't usually care for soup! - Lots of seating at lunch hour

This is definitely the best place in Whitehorse for a sandwich, a good variety of meat, the soups are very good. The salads are “ok” though. I didn’t really enjoy the coleslaw or pasta salad’s, the beet and onion was good. You definitely want to come here for a good sandwich, remember you need to come before 3pm otherwise sandwich bar is closed.

I love any place that will make you a customized sandwich. All the salads at the front display case look good but I haven't tried them yet. Key word: yet. Casual atmosphere with a half dozen or so tables. You can also do some light grocery shopping for condiments and sauces. Service is polite and friendly.

The soups and hot meal special are really good - homemade, tasty and fresh. The staff are friendly and very helpful - we ate at the deli both days of our two days in Whitehorse because the food was so yummy. Will definitely return to the deli on our next trip to Whitehorse.
