Favorite spot for bubble tea in the South Surrey/White Rock area. Drinks and food always taste fresh and filling - I highly recommend the popcorn chicken and mango slushie. The environment is very relaxing and they have a great selection of games to enjoy with friends. Great place to hang out and grab a quick snack!

They have really unique flavours and variety but I found that the iced drinks weren't cold enough. They make the teas fresh with the coolest apparatus but my iced green tea (the white Rock??) was a little warmer than expected but otherwise pretty tasty. Their pearls and jellies have the perfect consistency and they have the best matcha white chocolate cookie. Honestly, it's dangerous how good that cookie is.

They do tea right! The loose leaf tea is brewed up in an automated system in front of you and is always perfect. Try the White Rock iced tea you won't regret it.

Tried an Earl Grey milk tea with pearls, no ice, minimal sugar. Service was very quick. Drink is very well chilled, but can taste the fragrant bergamot in the tea. Their pearls are ULTRA bouncy and just right hint of sweetness. Love it! Adding half a star because they actually sell metal straws (with a pouch and cleaning brush) in two sizes for with/without pearls, to encourage less plastic use. ????

Great find for a Bubble Tea place in White Rock/South Surrey. Plenty of variety of bubble tea drinks to be had, including desserts if that strikes your fancy. The shop is clean, cozy with boardgames available to pass the time. The service is friendly, pretty swift, and the staff was also very informative. Quality ingredients at reasonable prices.

Atmosphere was clean and is quite a nice shop that specializes in tea. There are board games and chess boards available to keep you entertained. Service was fine. I give it only 2 stars though as I was very disappointed in the drink. I ordered an original milk tea and it didn't taste like a traditional type of milk tea that you would get in most Asian bubble tea shops or Hong Kong diners. It tasted like English tea with 2% milk in it.

We went there at almost 9 PM and there was this sweet, young staff manning the counter by herself and there was a stream of customers but she remained calm and collected accommodating all the customers. She deserves an award for this ???? So we ordered the taro slush (favorite!) and I had to note, it's not overly sweet, which is just prefect for my liking and the sago pearls are fresh and sweetened. Leaf Tea Lounge has cool interiors with few tables and chairs, is centrally located in uptown White Rock with nice staff, refreshing drinks at reasonable prices ????

This is the first time I visit Leaf Tea as it is a 37 degrees summer day. Overall, it was a pretty pleasant experience. I encountered a very friendly and adorable staff. But then we met a bit of a problem as there was not enough change in cash so I got an extra fries (which was delicious when eaten right away, but a bit soggy later on). Then it took like 5mins and I got my order. The mint Oreo slush was good, but not as minty as I expected, and if you’re planning on getting this, I highly recommend to get it double sweet based on my personal opinion. They also forgot to give me straws, but it’s not a big problem. Long story short, I do like their bubble tea flavour and wish to try more, but those above are some little details that I hope will improve in the future.

Beautiful little tea shop. I got lost in White Rock and ended up here, and I was so relieved they have wifi because I needed to find the location I was going to. I ordered a taro slush here, but I was a bit disappointed with it because it wasn't sweet enough and the taro taste was pretty much non-existent. However, I would go back and give this place a 2nd chance because I've seen some pics of their drinks and they look beautiful.

I've visited Leaf Tea many times as it's the closest bubble tea place to me, but my latest finally compelled me to write a review. I hope the following is taken only as the personal opinion it is and not as an address to anyone in particular, simply as ideas on how service may be ameliorated. Leaf Tea has made many improvements in the past that are extremely appreciated, such as shortening their wait time and adding (delicious) fries and other things to the menu, which I know will only continue. I hope that, in adding some observations, areas in which more work is needed may be highlighted and further improved. Firstly, each time I visit, my order is consistently messed up (maybe a better word would be misconstrued; I don't mean at all to sound harsh and I'm sorry if I do). I usually ask for no ice, and have been given ice over 3 times that I can distinctly remember, likely more. Sometimes I don't point this out, but when I do, my drink is taken back and the ice is scooped out of it, leaving the outsides dripping, the cap sticky, and the contents at least 20% diminished. I understand that perhaps they may not follow the customary practice (something I've observed as a fan and frequent consumer of bubble tea) of adjusting milk tea levels based on ice (eg. more tea when the drink has no ice so that the container is at least full), but it is also feasible to dry the container before delivering it back (as other places do), which would absolutely improve the experience a little. I've also been given, on separate occasions, 100% sugar and 0% sugar when I've asked for 50%. A family member, too, has received a mango slush when they asked for a strawberry. The frequency of these incidents leads me to believe they are not isolated and occur more than is reported. I strongly encourage Leaf Tea to review their process of taking orders or ask when they are unsure -- reiterating an order is much preferred as opposed to having to receive something that isn't what was asked for. (Please, ask for order confirmation before making the drinks rather than after, as I've also had happen before (when receiving a drink I didn't order)). - To the server to whom many of these experiences relate - (I haven't been able to catch your name, nor would I wish to expose it if I did) I appreciate your dedication to the store and how frequently I see you behind the counter managing everything from reception to execution. If you have read this, please don't feel I am criticizing you. As I have mentioned, this is by no means a complaint about anyone in particular; I only wish to make an observation about the service and my experiences in general. I just wanted to emphasize that and also thank you for the time you've put in for the store. Leaf Tea is already a favourite among my peers; I hope its service will continue on the upward trajectory it is currently on, and that this review can help a little in identifying where its progress may be hindered and thus provide direction for work and growth. - anonymous

My favourite bubble tea place! Great staff and creative drinks. They tend to be a little sweet, so keep that in mind when ordering. I do have some constructive feedback though: -Turn the music down just a tad, it was hard to have a conversation last time I was in there -why did the back corner get covered up with all those posters? I preferred the previous design but thats just my opinion This location has become a little more aimed towards teenagers so it can get a little boisterous and busy at times. I've learned it's not the best location for a quiet drink - unless you hit it at the right hours.

Service wasn't the best. We said it was our first time there. Husband didn't know the difference between a smoothie and a slush and the lady didn't offer much information and said "ok we can make a slush." We ordered a bubble waffle with our drinks and there were two workers there but they didn't make it. Instead they made many other peoples drinks first. Eventually they made our waffle but it wasn't that great compared to other places, same as the drinks. Sorry

This time around I tried the taro milk tea. 10/10 my go to when in White Rock!

I came here because of the good reviews I've read. But I have a totally different experience. The Earl milk tea was bland, tasted like water and the kitkat chocolate waffle took twenty minutes with no customers ahead of us. On top of that, the chocolate was steel. Not impressed, definitely won't be back.

Moving from Vancouver into the area we were a bit worried about finding our new "go to" bubble tea place, but so so glad we found Leaf Tea. Their consistency in both flavour and quality has been amazing. The ONLY thing i'm going to fault them and make the difference between a 4 and 5 star review is their fries. The portion we received was so tiny our toddler finished it all to herself, and shes really not a big eater by far - super disappointing but will not deter us from coming back! (But will not be spending our $5 on a toddler sized portion of fries)
