REVIEWS OF Seaside Village Cafe IN West Vancouver

What a lovely little place! So quaint and cosy. I had it mostly all to myself on this rainy day, after finishing a nearby hike, and I just wanted to grab a coffee and sit with my book. I sat at the counter along the windows, flower boxes on the outside. Very comfortable and relaxing. I looked up at the low-level clouds going through the mountains across the way. Nicely situated place. The proprietress was pleasant, quietly reading a novel on this lazy, drizzly day. I stayed until closing. As she closed up shop, we had a brief chat and she was lovely as we talked about hiking. I think it is so much better (and important) to support a local independent shop than the big chains. I don't get the the Village often, but I'll be sure to be back! Check it out next time you are nearby.

Cute mom and pop shop! They squeeze juice fresh from the fruits. Wasn't into the steamed juice I got but the London Fog was awesome. Service was fast if not sweet. No wi-fi but would come here again

Best place to go for coffee and fresh made sandwiches at the ferry terminal. We make sure to go every time. A much better choice than the other coffee shops just because it is local. You can ask for your sandwiches wrapped tightly which is perfect for packing into a backpack for later. All sandwiches are made fresh to order with amazingly fresh bread. Best to go early as the line can get long around lunch - but it’s usually dead in the morning because people tend to just go to the ‘closer spots’ on the corners - be sure to walk right past those.

Great food. Only 4 stars because 'masks are mandatory' sign on the door only applies to customers, not the person preparing the food...

Great little coffee shop. They roast their own beans, and their sandwiches are really good. They make them fresh right in front of you! Perfect if you're early for the ferry and want to grab a sandwich to take on board.

Seaside Village Cafe is the best kept secret about Horseshoe Bay. It is a locally owned and run cafe, by the same family for many years, serving brilliant coffees, delicious sandwiches (their fried egg sandwich is my favourite sandwich in all of Vancouver), great salads, baked goods, and juices and smoothies. They use the freshest ingredients and they even roast their beans onsite! The staff are so kind and warm, always open to pleasant chats. It is my favourite cafe and the gem of horseshoe bay. Ferry goers, it is absolutely worth the block walk from the ferry passed the chain cafes to this local gem of a cafe. Thanks Seaside!

Forget Starbuck ! We first went there like everybody and it was packed with more than 20 people waiting in line ... so we got out and cross the street to Seaside Village Café. It's a nice small coffee shop with fresh homemade pastries, fresh juices and great coffee! So much better than Starbuck !

Terrible espresso. They poured me a double by putting twice as much water through! Ugh. Watery and burnt. Might as well have used a keurig. They didn’t even grind any beans, it was pre ground.

dafne arianna

Super delicious my breakfast sandwich. I really recommend it ???? ☺

Andrew W

Very overpriced coffee and sandwich shop. The buns they use for the sandwiches are $5.99 for a bag of 18 buns at Costco. I noticed the price went up when they started using the Costco buns. I just go to Costco myself and buy the buns and make my own sandwiches . $8.85 for the sandwich is WAY overpriced, since the bun only costs them .33 cents per sandwich. The sandwiches have like a 700% markup. Don't go, you'll regret it. I go to Subway now because it's cheaper and at least the bread is made in house.

Sarah Whittall

Yummy food and nice owner.

Bob Wall
