What you would expect from a coffee shop. Good coffee and service overall. One thing is I’ve ordered a breakfast wrap and a sandwich on different occasions and asked for it to be warmed. I guess due to the way they wrap it in parchment paper it usually ends up a bit soggy. It still tastes good, but that could be improved upon. Good place overal

First of all, this is not a review on the items at this location.. we were unable to try anything. My wife and I went looking for a coffee shop this past Thursday (Dec 16) as we wanted some drinks while looking at the dundrave beach tree festival. We entered the store at 6:20pm (as the lights were on and door was unlocked. We walked up to the counter and the young man working there just stood and looked at us, then said “we’re closed”. Honestly we found it quite rude. As someone who’s never been to this coffee shop chain, it’s left a bitter taste in our mouth. We ended up driving to Ambleside where we found an amazing hot chocolate from Encore! Sorry rude cashier.. but manners go a long way and you need to learn some.

Although this company has several locations, this is the only one I frequent. On the seaward side of Marine Drive, through the little village of Dundarave, it's the only place I know, that does this amazing hot chocolate topped with CHOCOLATE whipped cream. Treat yourself once a week to this sumptuous treat. Lots of tables and chairs outside to enjoy the fresh air. Complete your experience of the week, with a delicious ginger scone. If taking transit, bus 250 Horseshoe Bay, or Caulfield 253, or Dundarave 250A bus or 255 Dundarave bus will take you here. Also enjoy a stroll along the beautiful West Van seawall. Dogs have their own walkway!! (Not permitted on the seawall itself.)

Pretty delicious coffee to be honest, I just noticed it seemed pretty expensive (which was also my other thought when visiting their other coffee joint close to English Bay) as I got two lattes (large and medium) with tax and 15% tip was close to 13-15 bucks. But, I guess this could be inflation due to it being a hot location. Other than that, great spot to grab a coffee when having a nice walk down the coast. They also have a bunch of yummy looking treats. Coffee house is very clean, comforting and taken care of in an awesome setting. Staff are super cool and operate a very COVID friendly approach. One of my favorite things about this joint is that they use fully recyclable take out cups.

Have been a fairly regular customer of this coffee house for many years. The quality of the beverages and food is solid though pricey if you are not used to West Van pricing. For the very first time today I settled into an empty table to do a little bit of work. Although the space is set up for reduced covid seating there were plenty of empty tables throughout my stay. Also being consciencious I made sure to order multiple items during my visit so that I wasn't camping without providing some income. Despite that a man who claimed to be the owner came over to inform me that there was a one hour maximum stay. Despite him being reasonably polite it never seemed to occur to him that there was at no point a lack of available seating.. Had there been a demand I would have gladly given up my table to someone else. So it would seem to the owner it's less important to have a customer remain in a half full coffee shop spending money regularly than it is to have an empty table where no one is buying anything. He's certainly entitled to make that choice and I'm equally entitled to take my business elsewhere.

Visiting from out of town I had the cold brew coffee with chocolate in it. Was very good. They also has the best most or cookie I might have ever had (and I eat a lot of cookies). Friendly staff and seem really accommodating during Covid. It was a great experience.

I visited this cafe at Christmas week, after visiting my doctor in Marine drive. It was too cold and heavy raining. I had to spend sometime inside to wait for the cap I booked, I found this place very warm and fancy with beautiful Christmas decoration, lights and pastries, I felt go in. I had great time there, enjoy my coffee and cookie. Atmosphere and ambiance were very lovely as well. Recommended!

Always a good, consistent go-to when you are in Dundarave and want a treat or a warm drink. Was a little bit crowded, especially the corner seating area the last visit I made, which does not make one feel especially "safe" during this pandemic. I wonder if a bit more distancing between tables could be arranged?

Delaney's is the best coffee shop going! They have excellent Cajun sandwiches and squares. The Dunderave store has just been tastefully renovated to relaxing designs. In addition, they have lots of out door spaces that give interesting views.

I grew up in Dundarave, always nice to visit Delaney's. Best London Fog and good fresh muffins. Today I had the westcoast wrap. Eggs, mushrooms, asparagus and veggies. Loaded with scrambled eggs. Two thumbs up! Has a cozy quaint feel with nice artwork and a choo choo train. Baristas are nice. If you head to Lighthouse Park or Whyte Cliff Park, be sure to stop by Delaney's. Ambleside's a zoo.
