Yummmmm. A 20 min ride from downtown. We wanted to check out a good place away from the hustle of downtown and found this. A typical mom-pop breakfast place serving amazing food. Price is slightly pricey. But we'll worth the taste and ambience. Pleasant country music, a smiling staff and a laid back crowd. 4.5 stars!!!

Went in for breakfast last Saturday. I was told it's really good, but unfortunately it is not. The most basic of eggs, Costco everything. Frozen and reheated ingredients. Slow service. Overpriced. Good parking though.

Underwhelming. I was dismayed by the indifferent service. I walked in the door at around 12:30 on a Sunday and the place was understandably full. But a couple left the a table at the window as I waited. A server said hello (really only friendly server I saw) and said they'd clear the table in a moment for me. Two people came over to clear the table but said nothing to me. I waited and then seeing new people gathering outside decided it was best to sit down despite not being instructed to. I sat down and a server said something about how she wasn't sure if could sit there. I pointed to the first girl who had told me I could have the table once cleared, but this new server just said, I'm just not sure you can sit here yet. Luckily, while I'm awkwardly sitting there waiting to find out if they want my patronage or not two other tables started to leave. I was brought a menu then, but no apology for the mishandling. Food was good, but not special. I had the west coast benny and it was tasty, like most west coast bennies. But the potatoes they came with were completely forgettable and needed much ketchup to be consumable. I will say the eggs were perfectly poached, but I would never bother to drive out here for breakfast again.

During our stay in Vancouver we visited Cindy's 2 days in a row. Very tasty breakfast and it is nice and small place to sit with family and friends. Also loved their Chai Tea Late. Love it.

We don't usually meet for brunch just because I often don't eat that early and my husband eats very early. However we were invited for brunch and gladly accepted. Cindy's has something for everyone. We had delicious veggie sandwiches and our friend had a great looking veggie omelet served with toast and potatoes. I am not an egg person so for me to say an omelet looks good says a lot! It was a great brunch!

Very less quantity for a $16 Benny. They charged $4 for an extra toast of bread. Wouldn't recommend at all. Waitress was nice 2stars just for her.

Good food, good coffee, good service. Coffee was surprisingly good, better than most small breakfast places I've been to. Got the 224. French toast had a hint of brown sugar in them making them very delicious.

Stumbled upon this cute place after hiking out in Lighthouse Park. A small diner with friendly staff and good brunch selection. We had a group of 7 and we just walked in a sat ourselves, quite casual. Service of our orders were quick and we all quite enjoyed the food. Highly recommended to stop by if you're in the neighborhood.

Nobody greeted us when we entered even though there were only 2 - 3 tables occupied, we took our own seat and waited ages to be served, after watching the waitresses serve others who came in after us. We finally got served and ordered a water and a coffee, we waited 10-15 min and it never came. So we left.

A diamond in the rough. This is exactly what we were looking for: local, cozy, peaceful, delicious breakfast. We stayed in the big city then came over the bridge because we knew there wasn't much chance of finding the right place in Vancouver. Cindy herself greets, serves, and buses while a genius in the kitchen creates an array of quality dishes that satisfy. The treasure of West Van. February 16, 2019 - now we’ve come twice, I can call it “our breakfast place!” Once again we have enjoyed the experience, yummy food, lovely staff, and Billy Joel playing, ON MY BIRTHDAY!! Thank you Cindy’s!!

I used to go here fairly often, but after my last visit, I don’t think I’ll be back. I went with my dad for my birthday breakfast. I ordered their bigger breakfast with chicken sausages and what I received was very disappointing. The potatoes were chalky and old, like they had been left from the day before (update: other reviewers have found this an issue also) and the sausages were very mediocre and tasted cheap. This is not at all how I remember Cindy’s, but perhaps it’s changed. I have no problems with the service or coffee, which is the reason for the courtesy star.

If your hours of operation say that you are open until 2pm I find it unacceptable to be told "the kitchen is closed" when it is 1:40. It would have been far less annoying had the gentleman that sent us away not been so rude. We used to go at least 2 Sunday's a month but we will not be back. Was very disappointed on my last visit (will be my last) on September 4th. Used to like that place, my wife and I would enjoy a tasty brunch at Cindy's every now and then. The dip in the food quality is not acceptable. The egg benny i ordered was bad. Our order should include hash browns but instead we got regular potatoes with no flavour. And you would know that those potatoes has been reheated again and again. The fruit on the plate was a dry out uneven slice of orange. The poached eggs were simply underwhelming. Add to that the under par service. The waitress was polite but did nothing when we told her about the food. No proper training to say we will address with the manager or some sort so you would give them another chance. But simply there was nothing. They lost a customer and I am sure many others will do the same.

I really enjoy the food from this restaurant. It fills like home cooing and everything is very fresh. Take outs are fantastic as well and i feel that the stuff is treating me on a personal level. I am hoping that Cindy's will stay open forever for us to enjoy local neighbourhood coffee shop and i am supporting Cindy's hard working stuff and very thankful for nice food! It is great to go to places close by for nice breakfast and see familiar faces.

Great place to have a breakfast or lunch in West Vancouver. My preferred menu choices are borscht and avocado toast. If you need a home made take out food, then speak to the owner. She is a nice lady and a very good chef. We ordered take out a few times and always remained highly satisfied.

Nobody greeted us when we entered the restaurant even though it was only half full. Staff just walked by us. We sat down at the table waited a few minutes but nobody even bothered to bring us menus. At the end we just got up and left. With such service I wouldn’t even bother tasting their food if you even get to that stage.

It was my girlfriends first time having Borscht, and we couldn't have gone to a better place for it. The food was incredible, the staff very kind, and the atmosphere was cozy & warm. Highly recommend for a Sunday brunch.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, when I got home I noticed the bread appeared to have seeds and I’m highly allergic to sunflower seeds so I called the restaurant to check which they confirmed it did. They offered to come back to the restaurant for a new sandwich made on white bread this time little did I know the offer came at the price of a brand new order on top of what I had already paid. Mind you I was given a option to select the type of bread nor was I notified that I was going to be charged again for a new order.

Myself and my girlfriend went here for the first time yesterday. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was unbelievably good. I had the breakfast bowl while my girlfriend had the caprese eggs benedict. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back very soon!

Had a beautiful lunch today with my mom and grandma, food was amazing ( borsh soup) , and we had the most sweetest server, so polite and professional, I believe her name was Sher ( could be wrong ) but she made our first time experience there even more joyful. We can’t wait to come back .
