We've got all the opinions of real people who consumed the services of C.C. Violin Patisserie & Café (Coffee Shop) in the territory of West Vancouver (Canada).
As of day this business gets a score of 4.5 over 5 and that rating is based on 91 reviews.
As you can see it has an average rating is nearly the highest, and it is based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the assessment is very faithful. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to place feddbacks when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Coffee Shop is included in the category of Cafe.
Nice cozy decoration. Tasty coffee and super polite customer service.
Busy, seating can be difficult to find. They do have lots of tea options to choose from. The macarons were good, the minion ones the kids enjoyed. The dessert section while tasty, is a little sparse, would look much more tempting with a full display. Friendly staff, they will bring your order to your table.
Very delicious high quality foods
Upscale and cozy place with modern design and great selection of pastry. I tried mocachino and it was very good.
We ordered 2 different eggless cakes and had couple of pastries. Its really amazing experience. Must try ????
Very nice aesthetic. I got the matcha tea latte and the opera cake. The tea latte was pretty nice, but the cake was a bit too sweet for me. Otherwise the place was great!
I love hot chocolate and pastries here, beside very good environment.
Nice cafe! Good interior degine Nice cake ! Sweet place
Everything here is absolutely delicious and the coffee is amazing. The owner and staff are also immensely friendly and I love supporting this local business! Specifically, the Cinnamon Raisin Brioche and the Blueberry Scones are off the charts! Also had the Mushroom Quiche the other day... it was super duper. I highly recommend this place!
Delicious
Delicious and relaxing atmosphere
Wow! Best quiche I've ever had, and the avocado egg salad croissant ????. There's a large selection of delectable looking cakes as well as hot and cold drinks. This is a place I will be visiting again and again.
Quiet place to spend private time in afternoon. Tables are plenty. Tea comes in pot and cup, not the Starbucks type. Patteseris are moderately attractive.
Chocolate mousse cakes and macaroons!!!
Tasty treats, very good high tea style cafe.
Good social place, but tiny.
Delicious sandwiches!!! High recommend the turkey sandwich.. there’re caramelized onions inside ????
So surprised to find such an excellent patisserie and café in West Vancouver! Once stepping in, I felt like being somewhere in Paris - blonde haired ladies and decently dressed gentlemen were chatting softly and joyfully; paintings from local artists were hanging on one side of the wall and a violin, on the other; a high wooden bookshelf filled with books was standing at the entrance; a long bar table accompanied with high chairs was against the glass entrance wall, . . . Most importantly, the cakes and the coffee they made were fantastic! I had a hot cup of coffee with a creamy heart shape, so appealing and romantic! I had a sausage roll, so crispy and tasty! And I had an avocado egg croissant, so rich and aromatic! All were real patisserie, true French styled desserts! Owned by a friendly and courteous couple, this café is a gem in the heart of Marine Drive business centre of West Vancouver.
A beautiful cafe in the heart of West Vancouver. It is conveniently located on Marine Drive with ample seating for 2s and groups. The desserts are made-in-store art piece perfections. We had the Opera cake and a Truffle Gateau both of which were delightful and very tasty. The coffee beans are high quality (although I didn't ask which beans they use - whether local or not) and the Americano was nice and strong. They have a good selection of teas here as well and will bring it to you with a hot water teapot (allows for better steeping). The best of this experience was the quality of service while we dined-in at the cafe. The owners are very kind and attentive to customers' needs and it was so wonderful to see regulars who shared great reviews about the place. Next time you go, check their beautiful collection of vintage teacups. Had a great experience here and would highly recommend it.
Muffin is scrumptious. The ambiance is perfect ???????? love how they prepare your coffee it comes in different motivation glass and coffee is delicious ... Been here twice. They have a lot of sets than other coffee shop ☕☕
Cozy beautiful cafe in WestVancouver. Perfect for meeting a friend and eating delicious bites with coffee. Their dessert cakes are beautiful and perfect for tea parties. The large pieces are about $6. I wish they had smaller size pastries as I like to try small bites. The owner is attentive and warm.
enjoy meeting my clients here, great atmosphere
Excellent atmosphere, charming service and quality coffee and pastries.
Lovely spot, delicious treats and drinks. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff.
So many wonderful culinary creations to sample. Loved the decor, the coffee and the attention to detail. Lovely place to catch up with friends or to have a casual business meeting. Will return many times.
The hot chocolate I ordered was bland and the cake not moist nor really tasty, this is why my rating is below average. To give them justice, the service was friendly.
I am not drinking coffee, I tasted happiness. This is what I felt in many afternoons sitting there, enjoying my coffee and almond croissant .
Excellent environment. Support local business. Coffee was awesome. Lots of choices for small bites.
Had a lovely experience at CC Violin today. The cozy ambiance and the delicious pastries made the drive up entirely worth it. I enjoyed how the macarons weren’t extremely sweet like other places.
Good social place, coffee tastes good and offer alot of delicate snacks. The staff are very nice. I don't think its a right place for a meal, but its a very fitting place for a morning or afternoon snack. The place is quiet and cozy in the morning, everyone is enjoying the coffee and snack with a good read. Busy at noon but not very noisy, alot of chattering, good for social. Heard a lot of stories from other customers, some of them can be very chatty. The afternoon high tea is delicate. Not a lot of tea to choose from but the tea taste good, I especially like their earl grey tea. They offered a lot of snacks most of them suits my taste. Some of them can be a little too sweet, but my friends said they were fine. The staff are nice, especially the man whom I think is the manager. Once when I was here on a not so busy morning I saw him come out of the counter and chart with an old lady. He was very patient when listening to her story.
Cute little cafe with fresh pastries! I had the cheese scone and chicken soup. The scone was moist and fresh. Prices are quite reasonable. Will definitely be back!
Outstanding service and food!
This is an elegant and charming coffee shop with a filling lunch special, delectable pastries and warm service. It has very artistic decor (displaying that of local artists) and is clean and pristine. The pastries are really pretty and happily, not too sweet. Decor and presentation is good :) Enjoyed the quiche with pumpkin soup, and tiramisu cake, which was not too sweet. Bit pricey but the ambiance is classy and great. It is also conveniently located in West Vancouver, near to Ambleside Park for a stunning stroll afterwards.

Everything is splendid and amazing people. Must try this place.
Simply wonderful, like your own family room
wonderful coffee and nice boss!
Great coffee, delicious cakes and pastries. Friendly staff, unrushed seating area.
Good quality pastiries, reasonable prices. Sample but clean bright place busy tea time place choice of locals
really cute Cafe
A lovely place with delicious food, great coffee, and friendly owners.
Great environment for sitting and have your coffee and enjoy your time. Friendly staff and delicious goods.
Best French bakery in the city for croissants, macarons, sandwiches, you name it!
They used to have nice interior not any more. It's very disorganized now. I ordered a coffee and it takes a long time to get ready. I used to like this place but not any more. However I recommend this place to hang out with a friend specially if you are a woman.
I had Truffle Gateau, which was very good. Nice inner space
Very nice for coffee and a sweet treat but expensive
Super cute and gorgeously decorated patisserie ???? The pastries and cakes are exquisitely made and the mushroom soup is delectable :) The mango cake we ordered was just the right amount of sweetness without being overbearing. Everything is top notch and the staff is so friendly ???? Highly, highly recommend!
Amazing friendly place to relax and talk to friends or for alone time. Fresh baked pastries and macaroons! Sandwiches are really good and you have to try the tiramisu cake!!!! Its tooooo die for!!!! Its just too good to pass!! Its a must!!!!!
Absolutely loved discovering this local favorite! noticed it by seeing so many happy people talking about the shop! Delicious cakes and great designs. (we looooved our BD’s cake) They also have excellent and helpful customer service. Thanks for the great experience!
Good service and food.
Tasteless coffee
Website was wrong with pricing, I purchased a 10 pack of macaroons. Vanilla was hard as rock, salted caramel tasted like chocolate, raspberry tasted like chocolate, and their coconut one was very good that's why I gave them 2 stars. Won't be going back
We ordered the high tea takeout platter for four. Everything was delicious and all very fresh. Everyone was impressed. Will definitely be returning. The macarons were especially delicious! Thank you!
This is a very quaint quiet coffee shop with nice pastries, good coffee and warm service. It has very nice decor and is very clean. The pastries are really pretty and the coffee is first class served in nice chinaware and not cheap paper cups or industrial mugs. Bit pricey but the ambiance is great. This is one of the best meeting places in West Vancouver
Nice classy place!
Pastry was stale, egg croissant served cold.
Robbie owns the best and most classy coffee shop availlable
good tasting coffee
Horrible experience and I am disgusted! I went to this cafe a couple of weeks ago. It seemed okay at first. We ordered one of their pastries (Idk its name). After the second bite, I saw a small BLACK WORM coming from inside the pastry. I lost my appetite and told the manager. He apologized, and offered a croissant instead. I mean it shouldn’t be that simple, there was a worm in their pastry.
Good coffee and food. Good price too.
Went for the high tea experience. Not many tea options (less than 10), though the food was plentiful without being too much. There were mini sandwiches, scones, quiche, macarons, lemon tart, and matcha cake. Before the service started we were also given mango pudding which was delicious. The restaurant was small and busy at times, but cozy. Server didn't seem to know much about the teas but they were all very friendly and accommodating!
Yummy taste with Pastries, cakes. our kids kept their eyes on green apple mousse cake, dark rectangle of black forest cake with puffs of cream, and a layered balls of chocolates for so long, The moment they got the these pieces "work of arts" into their mouth, we know they are enjoyed and we will have a good day. Our favourite is cafe choux for sure. Our family will definely visit back probably lots of times.
Classic Coffeeshop with great variety of pastries. One point of improvement would be replacing some of the old seats. Other than that their choices of Coffee and pastries are limitless.
The owners are nice and try hard to make the experience enjoyable for customers. A lot of people seem to order cakes from them too.
had a cappucino and a pain-au-chocolat... both really amazing!
What a fantastic place to go for chocolates (for sure!), deserts and coffee. We have many visits for this shop so far, we love their macarons. Desserts are sweet and heavenly. We have thoroughly enjoyed the stylish cappuccino, the pain au chocolat. we definitely come back!
Yummy yummy Cakes, soups and bread of the good quality Most of the owner is good ???? Now No, dine in Add the fresh mango cake This is my family favorite for my husband birthday
Thursday, June 6, 2013 was my first visit to your cafe and I was overwhelmingly under-impressed. I arrived at 3:40 pm to have a late lunch and ordered the chicken/brie sandwich. The sandwich was transferred from the display counter to a plate with tongs and the server’s bare fingers - not very sanitary considering he'd just taken payment at the till. Paid and went to find a table while my sandwich was grilling. Three tables had diners. All other tables were vacant - all littered with dirty dishes, including the coffee table by the couch. I had to clear a mess off one table to find a place to eat. Meanwhile, four staff floated around the café; one served a customer and the rest looked unproductive. My sandwich ($8.35 including tax) arrived. No garnish, no pickle, carrot stick or leafy green - a grilled sandwich sitting undecoratively on a white plate. I can’t deny it was exactly what I ordered: white bread, white chicken and white brie. Perfect opportunity for a splash of colour. Perfect opportunity for a zap of flavour.
C.C. Violin Cafe is my favourite place for a coffee or tea on the North Shore. I love their blueberry scones, desserts, quiche's and pastries. Their high tea is outstanding! Their specialty birthday cakes are the most beautiful I have ever seen and delicious. They provide great service, beautiful ambience, local artwork, C.C. Violin is truly a special place!
Really good coffee, pastries, and service. Owners know the regulars' orders and thats a good thing to see!
It’s our family’s favourite place to stop for classy coffee and pastry. The atmosphere is so lovely. The service is always caring and high standard. Not to mention the high tea that is unforgettable. My 12 year old daughter always asks for high tea at Violin for her birthday.
