The best coffee shop in West Van. The place is warm and inviting. The sandwiches which you can see made every morning are delicious!(Ham and Brie, Tuna Diablo!!). The espresso is amazing, even the decaf!! The staff are lovely and learn your orders. It's really a community coffee shop! I can't understand the other negative comments, maybe they were having a bad day themselves? Grab a coffee, sit outside in the sun and chill. Keep up the great coffees and sandwiches!

Great little coffee house. Excellent baking. There is also an attached sandwich and soup counter. Patio in the back for sunny days. Better than Starbucks any time. :-)

Really lucky to have this place in the Community Centre. The staff are super friendly and make the constant shuttling around of children between lessons bearable. Really good baked products and sandwiches (esp. tuna diablo) and consistently good coffee. One or two funny comments on here about it being a noisy environment etc. It's not a secret that its in the community centre. It's a busy environment in there. The staff do a great job of making it a comfortable space for young families and seniors alike.

The coffee is alright, there are a couple of staff that are friendly. Most are rather disinterested in helping. The food is ok, but don't ask for it to be heated or it's only half done. There are much better cafes than this one in the area - don't bother here.

Despite the thousands of faces traipsing through this very busy rec centre, the staff here have memorized my embarrassingly complicated coffee order. There is often a line, but they move quickly enough for me to manage it with my large and unruly brood of children in tow- always through in a flash. The banana bread is a staple in my bribery arsenal and the coffee is by far the best I’ve had in any comparable environment. Sarah and the staff are a pleasure and they seem to appreciate what a smile and a good coffee can mean to a harried parent. Thank you!

Not many places to sit, close way too early since badminton opens only in night..... coffee tastes horrible, staff service is careless.

Love the cafe.....tho very overpriced and not often full veggie and fruit cups....with somewhat soiled veggie ends....simply needs improvement!

If there was a minus star, I would go for it. Bad service and horrible customer care. I will make sure to talk to the rec center staff about it as it is the only coffee available there. We ordered a sandwich that came burnt and the burnt grease of the grill stuck on the sandwich. When I returned it, they said they ran out of it and then they changed their mind and offered a replacement. The new sandwich also had grill grease stuck on it.

Food is way too expensive, I’d rather By from Tim Horton....... not many place to sit, during noon rush hour many kids scream and yell! Extremely chaotic environment.
