Barista messed up our order twice even after correcting them, we waited for a pretty long time so it wasn't worth it the second time to get it fixed again, in the end we just took our wrong orders and was not very satisfied.

Passing through the VanCity area - new to Bean Around the World. Honestly I thought it was a single location mom & pop shop cafe. After searching I realized it is a local brand with locations everywhere. This doesn’t change my opinion of them. They still have a cozy cafe feel, and definitely don’t feel like a big brand. Delicious coffee, tastes great, looked great - enjoyed the experience immensely. Thank you!

Can you believe this is the original Bean Around The World Cafe, roaster, and home to the established BC franchise! Very quaint and cozy, this is quintessential coffee house ambiance in both quiet and busy 'modes' - meditative or blustery social. The roast is strong, and the flavour conjures hardy Pacific and North-West lifestyles.

"Bean" coming to The Bean on and off since it opened about 25 years ago. Excellent coffee that is more consistently good than it was years ago. Nice, friendly and relaxed atmosphere for all ages to mingle. Dogs welcome on the patio.

Great coffee with an excellent selection of baked goods. There is also a kitchen in the next "room" that serves panini and soup. Just a heads up that you need to pay for the items separately despite that it is the same coffee house. Their cash register is operated independent of each other. Try the cinnamon bun. There are several different toppings to choose from. They are to die for.

This place is probably my favorite coffee shop on the North shore since it opened in the 90s. The owner Barney is a gentleman, and the large wooden back patio is awesome for a game of chess over coffee on a sunny day. Way better coffee than Starbucks too

Consistently good coffee. The best americano I've had in greater Vancouver. Unfortunately their baking is... not so good. But the coffee makes up for it. Avoid the muffins. The cinnamon buns look better, but one doesn't always want a cinnamon bun.

Great coffee joint in west Vancouver. Love the muffins and they are self serve so just grab a plate and tongs and help yourself. Good sized back deck for those warm sunny days but also plenty of seating inside.

I payed 15$ for latte and hot chocolate it was terrible. Taste was like a lot of milk and I didn’t enjoyed they need to improve the service and train the staffs for services ????also they serve really slow

Incredibly disappointed with going cashless. Currency is currency. I get the precautions of a pandemic.. but to not accept cash I feel is incredibly disheartening. I work on the front lines and also work two jobs - one of which thankfully allows for tips.. which is cash. So during this pandemic I am thankfully able to pay for bills with an already reduced payroll due to covid. So if I am short $.50 on my card, but have this is cash, you're willing to lose my business? I work within the area now and wanted to establish a regular place for morning coffee and lunch. Bean around the world will not be that place. Convenience on your part is not convenient on customers or potential customers.

Fairly good coffee, though it seemed over roasted. A good selection of pastries. Prices are basically the same as every other coffee shop. Depending on which branch you visit, the furnishings vary, though never more than just basically confortable.

I feel so bad for the workers in this store! So many entitled customers without masks. They definitely made the right choice erecting a literal wall to protect the employees!

We have been to this place many times over the years and were very disappointed in our visit this morning. There are certain business that seem to feel it is OK to use the pandemic as excuse to treat their customers badly. The 2 young ladies this morning were bossy and rude - snapping at my husband and I on 2 occasions and informing us that they had decided to close their washrooms and customers could go down the road to the gas station. Why it is safer to use a washroom in the gas station is a question they could not answer other than to say it suited them to have them closed in their café. Clearly the connection between their job security and happy customers is lost on them. There are so many places to get coffee in West Van I would really give this one a miss. Hopefully management will read this and train their staff in customer service!

Located inside the West Vancouver community center. Seating inside is limited due to Covid -19 policies but there is seating in the lobby of the community center and outside as well. Coffee is good but the service was slow when I went. The two employees were not enough to handle the 8-10 customers. Otherwise a good place to grab coffee from on a rainy day.
