Love the gelato! Always different flavours, the hazelnut she makes is my favourite. The girls are friendly and the owner is as well. Love this place. I regularly bring friends :)

The girls who work there are poorly trained and arrogant with customers. They spent way too much time with one customer while others wait and wait and wait. First time there, candy was 5 cents each. Three days later it had already doubled in price with no warning. When I asked the girl why she rudely stated, "You'll have to ask my mom", then turned away from me and went back to helping the previous customer who was already being helped by another clerk.I was left standing there with no answer to my query and no service. After 5 mins and no service, I said, "You'll do really well running the place this way." Then I walked out and will not be back. The first time my wife and I went in, there were two girls behind the counter of which only one was counting candies so diligently you'd think the entire place would collapse if they gave you even one extra. The other girl, when asked if she could help as it was at least 15 minutes waiting, just kept saying, "I'm not trained to do that." Not trained to count FIVE CENT CANDY! There was a woman with two children who were going ballistic. The mother did not even try to control them and demanded on asking questions about every single candy there was while her kids screamed and bawled. Oh yes. Like they needed more sugar?Just after we finally got where it was our turn, the girl behind the cash decided to help after all, but not the ones who had waited 15 to 20 minutes. Simple. If this is how you wish to run your business, you'll get NOTHING from me as I refuse to be treated like that, by young mouthy clerks who spend 30 minutes making 1.50 in sales, while several people stand in line with screaming kids wanting garbage. And furthermore, everything they sell is gummi this and gummi that and quickly has become too expensive. You got a 1 out of 5 because the candy was fresh, and no other reason. I would have given a zero if I could. Pathetic business, absolutely pathetic service as well. So why have you not even responded to this review? Because you know you're on a path to bankruptcy.

The highlight of our Ottawa-Chelmsford trip! Anne (the owner), if you're reading this, you need to put your place on TripAdvisor. The homemade gelato (soft serve and regular) is awesome; you need to try the cafétone. The small kids' play area is great, the staff is extremely friendly, there's a huge candy selection and the store is beautiful. This is a must-stop in Sturgeon Falls!

It is such a great place , the staff is so good and friendly. The geLatour is so delicious. It's a beautiful store. I brought my family and friends and they were so pleased. Best place ever.
