Very clean and relaxing atmosphere, not that busy despite me going in during morning rush. Bit of a miscommunication on the menu: "Burger and Eggs" is just the hamburg steak, without the bun. Regardless, it was very good and I'd go back for it again! That's really the biggest problem I had. Besides that, maybe.... one of the servers could have spoken up a bit more? Also took asking again to get the second drink I ordered. But they were friendly and apologetic where they slipped. They're human, and I work customer support too so I know how things can be sometimes. Idk, I'm at a loss for serious criticism. Good show.

The cafe has switched owners recently but they haven't skipped a beat. We order the turkey club with crispy fries and gravy on the side, it is delicious! My favorite clubhouse hands down. We usually split an order and it is enough for us to both be stuffed so to say its a generous portion is an understatement.

What a quaint place! I'm glad we looked it up otherwise I wouldn't have seen it! Food was absolutely delicious -- everything tasted fresh and clean, which is something I look for in a breakfast place (nobody enjoys places where the food tastes like old oil haha!). The servers were all just absolutely sweet and wonderful to us, and fast too!

The low star rating is only because it was so hot and humid in there that I couldn't even have my coffee. the AC unit looks older than I am (I'm 40) and is held together with duct tape. If the AC worked at all it would have been a 4 star review.

Thought we would try this quaint restaurant for brunch yesterday. My husband and I have heard positive things. Well..it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious and so was the coffee. Worst service I've ever had. Server was ignorant. We asked for coffee waited 20 minutes then asked again then server says can't you see I'm busy. Management comes out we talk to him. He's was rude. Well infant be in the back and the front at the same time we are busy. He said he will talk to her and see about replacing our food. Our replacements never came, our coffee never came! Absolutely disgusted.

I went here a few days ago, and sadly, I will not return. The eggs were brown, the toast was burnt to a crisp and the air conditioning was broken, coffee tasted really weird and the meat was just black and it did not even look real.

My boys love chicken fingers and this place has every single thing but. So we ordered a chicken burger waited another 10 minutes for the waitress to come and say they were actually out of chicken burgers.... at this point my five-year-old looked at me and said dad this isn't a good place we shouldn't come back here. Before our meal even arrived someone that came in behind us had eaten and already left.

Welland Cafe treats their staff like crap. I for one will not support a company that doesn't support their Staff. Staff runs the business & interacts with the customers on a daily basis & if you have a revolving door of disgruntled employees your business will suffer from it & I believe it has. They do not train their waitress staff or their short order cooks which just sets them up for failure & in return they get fired. If you are planning on applying to the welland Cafe I would say don't waste your time you will be fired no matter how well you do.

Simply a wonderful hometown restaurant with super friendly staff, great food, and oh yeah great food! We’re hooked on their toasted westerns, which are huge and great tasting. It was 'ok'. Huevos Rancheros had too much sour cream, totally overpowering the dish. Husband ordered hard poached eggs, but when his eggs came, they were fried. We told the waitress immediately, who could only respond with 'we don't have poached eggs'. No apology or offer to have him order something else. I did appreciate the homefries; nice to have something homemade and not out of a bag like another popular place does in town. Might be back to try this place, but will probably stick with our usual breakfast haunts.
