REVIEWS OF Wolf It Down Restaurant IN Watson Lake

Courtney Sears

very rude waiter she shoved a kid out of her way and yelled at him to get out of her way while he was just looking at the ice cream

Braden Gunem

Prices were very expensive, moreso than the typical 'northern premium', but the food was good, and the service friendly.

Janelle Selinger

Supreme food! Expensive...poor service.

I am mosesuarass

Charged us $3 to fill a jug up with tap water for our dog. Ridiculous!! Avoid.

I live in Alaska so I know expensive. This place is just greedy. Food should at least be great but no. Sign says no outside food or drink yet their only water they offer is through a $3 plastic bottle. $27 half rack ribs were not good. I left angry. Just pure greed.

Al

Overpriced and missing soup, salad, wraps. Pretty much half their menu. Also no water you have to buy a bottle. Forgot to put hash browns in meal. I do not recommend!

Darren Kirby

Leave this place off your stopping list. Rude, pushy staff/owners. Food was bland & coffee taste like truck stop sludge.

Tatjanna J

I see some bad reviews for this place, but I thought it was perfectly fine. Yes, it is a bit more pricey than you would find in a big town. Don't forget that you're in the Rockies and you're paying for their added costs on everything. Yep, it's kinda quirky. The young man that took our order is not a professional waiter and I wouldn't expect one out here. He was perfectly pleasant. My bf and I both ordered burgers and we split an order of fries. Food came out quickly. The patties were likely frozen, but again, how could a restaurant out here keep fresh inventory? The tomato, lettuce and onion we're fresh. Overall, it's exactly what we were expecting. The bonus was the delightful deck where we ate. Surrounded by flowers, nice touch.

$55 for frozen fish overdone fries and really chewy grisly ribs. The owner/cook is a jerk, knows and says his prices are 'highway robbery' Won't be stopping here again.

Michael Zingg

Good food, friendly staff.

The food was amazing and the lady who owns the property is fasanating she has the most interesting life and history and is always happy to share her experiences!! It's all fresh homemade yummy greatness, but WAY too expensive! We had 2 burgers, fries and onion rings and 2 coffees with 2 pieces of pie and it cost us $ 67.00 cad.

(Translated) Very rude owner. The burger was greasy and too expensive. Better to drive a few more kilometers and eat something in Watson Lake .... (Original) Sehr unfreundlicher Inhaber. Der Burger war fettig und zu teuer. Besser noch ein paar Kilometer fahren und in Watson Lake etwas essen....

Megan Gatzke

Was forgotten about. Waiter didn't remember that we ordered drinks, another worker had to ask him if we were eating. Never seemed like he wanted to be there and that he was inconvenienced by us. Was excited to ask twice when we paid if we enjoyed the food and was upset when we didn't answer. Food was way overpriced for what you got, understandably it is the only thing around but still.

Moira Moreno

Grumpy granny’s. Good pies! Kinda pricy, but it’s not exactly close to a grocery store.
