Cheestravels (Cheestravels)

I don’t usually leave a bad rating because I want to help people and their business but I really felt cheated at this place. First, the menu is a lot more than what is shown on the photos but I brushed that off because of course businesses need to catch up. But we were charged 3.00 extra because I asked for a lettuce bun. I was not told this when I ordered and it feels like maybe because we are from out of town that’s why they up charged me. Also I don’t understand why the reviews are so good since the food including the burgers are not homemade. The food is just frozen and then reheated. The poutine is just shredded cheese and not curds. The milkshakes looked good but overall I was not impressed. I’d go for the $20 pizza next time I guess.

Myself and my boyfriend popped in on route to the Yukon and decided to get some food from Archies. We found the man extremely unpleasant, rude and almost felt unwelcome in the area. We are a very positive and upbeat couple, and were showing great excitement for our trip to explore, but felt very put down by his mannerism, and felt it was negative enough to put up a review. Not great service at all :)

I don’t usually write bad reviews but I feel that I must. If I could give zero stars, I would. We’ve just left this place and we were shocked how rude the old man with the white beard was. As soon as we entered this place, it felt to be an unwelcoming environment. The guy was encouraging us to go elsewhere and after 2 minutes while we were checking the menu inside, he asked us to leave for no apparent reason. This is certainly not way how you should run your business. Not the best first impression after crossing into the Yukon.

Went in and as soon as we entered we were told by the woman that they had to close for half an hour and shooed us out! No explanation given. Not even politely. Zero stars for this place.
