Nice little place. Very friendly Not a fan of vegan baking but decided to try it anyways. If you are vegan you will love it. If you aren't there are things you will like. I found their chocolate moose bar bland with a weird aftertaste but moist with good texture. Their raisin brand muffin was excellent. Very moist and flavourful. Could easily eat 2 or 3 quite happily. I like supporting local little bakeries so I will probably pop in again.

The cup cakes are really delicious! Great and friendly customer service. Would recommend visiting this place for early morning breakfast. The cakes they prepare are different everyday too!

I've been before and love this cafe. Today, I brought my skeptical omnivore husband and we had a wonderful lunch. :-) The staff is sooooo friendly, the cafe is clean and bright and the food is soooooo tasty.

Super good cranberry orange slice! They had lots of vegan options. Cute owl paraphernalia and nice staff. There was some outside seating set up as well. This place deserves a better location with more foot traffic.

Thai curry had lots of flavour but would prefer with rice or noodles. Homemade jalapeno cheddar bread was exceptional. A bit pricy for the portion size at lunch.

What an awesome healthy lunch option in the area. The food is always fresh and delicious. I'm not one to restrict my diet in any way (I love all things gluten- and dairy-filled and I'm not a vegetarian) and although this place caters to that crowd I certainly don't feel short-changed. I like how there's a different feature and soup every day to keep me from getting bored of the regular menu; which isn't to say that it's boring, just that I would get tired of ordering the same thing all the time as their regular menu is relatively small. I hope The Healthy Owl hangs around for a long time!

Food was reheated. Got a salad that had 5 pieces of iceberg lettuce and 3 tomato slices. I was expecting a home style meal. Not the case.

This place is so cute, and the food is delicious and healthy. I really like taking my son here as I can let him pick anything he wants from the pastry display and not be worried that it's terrible for him. Coffee is just ok, and there are no espresso drinks on the menu.

The baked goods and drinks are delicious, and cafe itself is a nice, quiet place to sit The one issue is every meal item and salad I've had there seems to be LOADED with raw onions, even items where it's not listed as an ingredient.

I go here regularly, as I work around the corner and it's a quick stop after the gym! The owners/employees are always pleasant and have a great selection of vegan and vegetarian options for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner! The Blondie Bliss Bar is to-die-for!

Nice cafe. Lots of options. High chair was available but there is no change table. Had to decide rather to change our child on the floor or in the car, went decided car. Older crowd when we were there, no too much space, not suited for large groups.

The Healthy Owl combines the warmth of a cozy country coffee shop with the fine smells of an European bakery cafe cuisine. Spotless clean, lots of natural light, kind service, and very relaxing ambient music completes the experience. Most important, here you can find good coffee, awesome snacks treats and delicious lunch options.

Lovely hidden gem! Great relaxing atmosphere where you can chat the afternoon away, or quietly read the morning news. Great coffee and Tea's. *Almond milk available, not Soy. All the to go barkey is yummy! Lots of options for food sensitivity which I love. Reasonable prices too. Dine in or mini outside patio or to go. Come check them out!

Simply put; it's wonderful. Always greeted with a smile and excellent customer service. Which in these days, is often rare. The food and healthy goodies are always delectable. It is truly one of my new favorite spots. The only thing is I wish I would have started to come in sooner.

Small hidden gem in Waterloo! Owners are incredibly friendly and the food is delicious. Definitely recommend trying their daily specials - their soups are so tasty. Their cheddar jalapeno bread and breakfast scones are also must tries.

We just happened to be at Lee Valley at lunchtime and dropped in for lunch. The following week we planned our trip to hit lunch hour. The food I’s wonderful! The best ! The muffins are moist, just so tasty. Just a great menu for lunch. I wish they were here in Guelph.

They have the best coffee. I go out of my way to get it. Just had a lemon zucchini muffin with sliced roasted almonds on top. It was amazing! I didn't know muffins could be amazing.

I'm not vegan but it doesn't even matter because the flavours of every item I have had here have been phenomenal. I would happily give 5 stars but I just wish they had more leafy green salad options. In general, there are no green salads here mostly quinoa, or bean salad types- which are delicious but I hate to say it- they lose my business to Chopped Leaf on the days that Im craving some greens! :(
