The "gluten free buns" were awesome, and they let us look at the package. We contacted the manufacturer, and they are not "gluten free". They have wheat flour as the first ingredient.

The burgers we had were both very garlicky, almost as if they had received double the garlic spice as necessary. Neither of us ordered a burger akin to this, one was the chili dog burger, the other was the classic bacon and cheese burger. Neither were edible due to the garlic, but we ate it anyways due to our urge to leave from the no air conditioning on a hot June day.

We went there tonight, it was our first time. We had the Signature Burger with fries and coleslaw. The burgers were delicious and so were the fries, I was hoping there would have been more. The gravy wasn’t very good and it definitely wasn’t worth the $2.00. They have a special on any burger with fries and coleslaw for $12.00 drinks are extra at $2.00 for a can of pop. The orders are made to order so it takes about 10 minutes to get your order prepared. I did notice that the kitchen staff wasn’t wearing face masks

I had the bacon Swiss melt and it was delicious! I was quite disappointed in the fries, they were cooked perfectly, but there was an incredible amount of salt on them, so much so I couldn't eat them.

Very delicious burgers. Reasonable price for what you get. Probably the best burger I had in St. Johns . Fries are good but seemed a little under done. I would ask next time to cook a little longer. But I also didn't eat them right away so they may have softened up from humidity in a take our box. Only thing I would really change is the coleslaw. It's good but the size was way too small. Basically a spoonful. It would of been better if it was closer to a cup full. Still I will recommend this place to anyone. I would of gave 4.5 stars if it was an option. Very close to 5 stars.

Been here several times. The burgers are amazing. Fries are good, though I wasn't a fan of the gravy. Found it very lumpy, and a little cold. Regardless, the food is still great. I'll do without the gravy next time, though.

The Burger House. This was our first visit and upon entering the restaurant first impressions was that it was very clean (including the washrooms). Ordered two burger combos and an onion rings and the bill came to just shy of $50.00. Here is my rating for each food item... Double Bacon Cheese Burger - 4/5 ???? The burger patty was cooked almost to perfection, which I was a little worried about given the thickness. Great job. Fries - 2/5 ???? Nothing special about the fries. Next time I’d skip the fries and just go with the burger. Onion Rings - 2/5 ???? Pretty bland, wouldn’t order again. They could definitely use some seasoning to add some taste. As they are, you can only taste the grease. Overall thanks for a decent burger I rate the experience a 3/5 stars. Is it worth the price... I’ll let you decide.

If you and who every your with like beef I highly recommend. I had a beef burger and was very happy with it, delicious! Fries are also fantastic. Gravy was disappointing. However my partner had the chicken burger and it was in no way comparable. Not good at all. Would go back by my self for sure.

Immediately after entering with a large group the wait staff accomodated us and mentioned that they had the best onion rings in town. They were right. The burgers are fantastic, the rings live up to the hype, and the staff are very nice. Highest recommendation.

I has the standard cheese burger. Great burger. Highly recommend starting with this one. Buns - Good soft fresh bun. It suits the paddies well. Basic but good. Cheese - Cheese is good but could be improved a tad. I think i’m only saying this because i prefer the processed cheese opposed to the real slices. Still works with the burger. Meat - This paddy is actually perfect aside from two small things that would improve the burger greatly. Holds together nicely but could be a tiny bit more dense. Just a tiny bit. The meat ONLY SOMETIMES is a little fresh. If they added that extra dash of salt it would bring this burger up 2 levels. This place makes good burgers with that homestyle feel. Its a very satisfying yet not greasy burger. Well made. If they fix the salt issue this would be 5 stars. Fries are top tier fries. Mark J W Burger Guru

They have a special on for the month of April where a burger and fries is $12 which is a great price compared to the regular price. I had the signature burger and added poutine to the fries (I seen a review that said the poutine was excellent but in my case it was not) which was an extra $5!!! a ridiculous price for a bit of tasteless gravy and cheese. They put it all in the one basket too so the burgers bun was sogged in gravy, and I found the burger tasted like pure grease. My boyfriend had the smashed burger and he had dressing and gravy which was $4 extra and he said the burger was fine but was very salty. After adding on drinks our bill was $44 and we left feeling like I overpaid for what we had and was very disappointed in the meal. I doubt we will be back

Great service!! Delicious burger!! Could use more tables or even outside seating (when it warms up). Very helpful with questions as it was my first time there. Very very filling. Burger was a little greasy, but it is a burger. Cooked to perfection and with the asked ingredients. May special was $14 a basket, including burger, fries, slaw and a drink - fantastic price!!! Will return.

Great food and service. The cashier was amazing with suggestions and letting us know of the customer appreciation promotion. We ended up trying the Smash Burger and the Signature Burger. The food was made to order, fresh, hot and delicious. The manager/owner came to tables to ask how everything was tasting and suggested we follow their social media for other offers and contests. Would highly recommend and will be going back.

I had their signature burger, it was amazing! Soft slightly greasy bun, juicy meat patty and neat presentation. The best burger I have had in St. John's and the service was lovely. I will be back....
