Everyone here was amazing! The coffee was excellent. I learned about a 'Canadiano'. The coconut cream pie was yummy. And the place is spotless. Incredibly clean. The staff were awesomely cheery and welcoming. Not my first visit and surely not my last. Also, was so nice to relax with a nice view toward the river and not be rushed after a long busy day. Love the coffee beans in the table tops!

Nice spot by the river (outdoor patio). Great selection of coffees, pastries and breakfast/lunch items. Lucky for me that they had a couple gluten free items, as well as the options of oat, coconut and almond milks to choose from. Open for breakfast and lunch. Nice decor inside. If you want a spot on the patio, get there right at 9 as small groups of cyclists tend to take the tables at that time, and I've noticed some couples grabbing a table for 4, instead of for 2 so the 4 in my party couldn't sit.

They’ve thought of everything in this newer offering downtown Frankford (established spring of 2019)! Of course the coffee needs to be great, and it’s close (I’d like a bit of a darker and more full bodied blend, but not everyone wants this). They have Swiss water decaf available (versus chemically decaffeinated) and prices are fair and reasonable across the board. The baking is done in house and top notch. Decor is a perfect balance between modernity and functionality with fascinating art work honouring the history of the building and local environs. There is ample seating room with unique spaces that allow for private conversation, including an 8 top table tucked inside the old bank vault. As a 25 year ‘local’ I haven’t seen anything as close to perfection in the ‘coffee shop’ category in Quinte. And as someone who travels frequently and drinks a lot of coffee while doing so, this is one of my favourite places. So glad I get to enjoy it close to home. Well done!

Just moved into the area and so happy we found this gem! Everything was delicious! The food, drinks and dessert exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend. If you are looking for good food and friendly service, check them out. We will definitely be back!

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had, same with the coconut cream pie ! The owner even made us scrumptious iced coffees with Americano, even though they are off season. Lovely atmosphere, I highly recommend and will definitely be back again soon !

London fog was awesome. Coffee is wonderful. Gluten free options! The only thing.. people are seeing how good it is and the line up has begun. I had to leave because I couldn't wait. And that was a Saturday at 910am.

A nice unique cafe in Frankford that remembers the past of the old bank. It even has a bank vault door. It's a nice cozy place to go for some food and a drink. My girlfriend loves it here, really a good thing for Frankford.

I recently enjoyed lunch at this unique cafe, and was blown away by the quality of the food/drinks and handmade baked goods. Not living in the area, I was drawn in by the schnitzel and potato salad lunch. It was so delicious that I was glad to have ordered extra to take home! The Italian orange soda and pistachio latte were incredibly flavourful, as were the homemade chocolate cookies. Knowing I wouldn't have an opportunity to return soon, I purchased several other baked goods to have at home, and they have been enjoyed by the rest of my family (Nanaimo bar, rum cake, apple & walnut strudel and a variety of cookies). Great care and pride have gone into acknowledging the history of the bank through framed photos and prints throughout the restaurant. Where else can you say that you've had a chance to eat inside a converted bank vault?! As this cafe is along the waterfront, I look forward to dining on their outdoor patio in warmer weather. Kudos to the owners - it is clear that pride of ownership, a dedication to customer service, a unique dining experience, delicious home-made meals and baked goods are what will keep satisfied customers returning again and again to this local establishment.

Great place if you want to catch up with friends...quiet....cozy...outdoors or in...not that big...great homemade soups salad and sandwiches...homemade desserts to die for...friendly staff and owner

This place is amazing, the owner makes everything herself, she has pictures of Frankford's history all over the cafe. The cafe is done w taste and very clean. I had one of her homeade cookies and let me tell u it was so good. I highly recommend this place.

This is the cutest little coffee shop you've ever visited. Friendly, helpful staff that care if you are happy. I wish I had remembered to take a picture of the breakfast bagel I had! It was absolutely amazing. Great drinks, great selection, amazing food. You really can't beat it. You pay less than similar name brand places, and get so much more. If you haven't been, you should totally go! Edit: Updating to add some photos. S'more, marshmallow nougat, and a Nanaimo Bar ???? they looked better before I squished the bag ☺️ but still delicious!

It is always a treat to order a cappuccino from the Old Bank Cafe. It is always excellent! They have a good menu with variety of specialty drinks and pastries and delicious food options. Definitely worth checking put! You will not be disappointed. Their take-out service has definitely been a highlight in the COVID19 lockdown period! Local and community owned - I like that a lot! ????
