I went there briefly for lunch. It was a long wait and the food wasn’t very good. There was no information about any soup of the day or any specials. Seeing other people’s plates the food looked and smelled delicious. The restaurant was very cute and the wait staff are friendly. I will most definitely order something different on the menu and give it another shot. It could become a favourite!

Huge breakfast. 3 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 sausages, 2 pieces back bacon, home fries, toast, baked beans and bottomless coffee. All that for $8.99. Meat was a bit greasy and table cloths were very worn and frayed. Service was quick and friendly. Food was served very hot. Will probably go again.

Good little Mom and Pops kind of diner with big portions and reasonable prices. Food was great nothing fancy in decor but you'll get your money's worth portion wise. Humble staff and quick service.

My wife had the omelet for breakfast and she loved it. I had the eggs with bacon and sausage which were good also. The day before we had lunch there. I had the chicken club sandwich and fries, it was great.

I just went here today for my aniversary. The large poutine is huge! Can definitely share it between two people and the lemon meringue pie is to die for. Also a special thank you to the waitress for being so sweet to us. I'll definitely be going here again.

Subject: Just not that considerate. To start I ordered something called a meatless breakfast. I am autistic & red meat can make me personally sick. They still brought me pork & beans. I am a repeat customer to... Tourism: This place does not look accessible to tourists. There are no maps & no one who gives af. LGBTQ2S: They are not homophobic but we probably stick out here like a sore thumb.

I visited here on my way to Toronto and the fact that it is close to the highway was its only decent quality. When we first arrived there was only one waitress and she was totally overloaded. Eventually a second one arrived and things picked up. Unfortunately the food was awful. The hamburger was gray and tasted like it had expired. The fries were limp, soggy, and lukewarm. The cheese was so bitter tasting I had to remove it. Even the pickle looked like it was decomposing. I sent a soft drink back because it didn't have any carbonation, which they said was a known problem. Why they would serve it anyways, I have no idea. We weren't the only ones that had a problem with the food. One couple's food was so bad they left without eating. Credit to the waitress here who told them that since they were so unhappy they didn't have to pay for the food they had been served but wouldn't eat. The guy paying his tab in front of us told the waitress that his food wasn't good at all. Hardworking servers but unfortunately terrible food that made me concerned I would be sick.

Stood in entry for 15 mins. Got no eye contact or acknowledgement from staff. 2 tables of customers left, still waiting. They want us to support local businesses, but what happened for customer service???

I love the food!! Hate the lack of work!! After reopening.. says your open until 9am.. been calling.. and calling.. and calling.. no answer. Hard to make money when no one is answering the phone to take orders. Not sure how this business is still going. Even before the store temporarily closed.. took a lot of calls before someone would answer.. if ur looking for responsible employees.. my 17 yr old is available!

My husband and I are moving to the area and thought we'd check out this cute diner. I am a breakfast waitress as well, so I wanted to check out possible employment opportunities when we move. We stopped in on a Saturday around 11:30, there was a couple tables in there but not busy whatsoever. Our waitress ruined our first and last experience here, nor would I ever want to work somewhere with such lack of care from their employees. She was short with us, like we were a bother to her for being there. She dropped my beverage off and said nothing and walked away. Instead of coming back to take our order, she proceeded to take table after table, that came in after after us, including a table of 10. She deleveried drinks and took food orders for multiple tables while ignoring us. After waiting almost 15 minutes with our menu closed, and even the other waitress would look at us and just look away, like we weren't her problem, we decided to leave and go somewhere else. Luckily right down the road from them is a cute small diner where the owner is the server,and she was the nicest, kindest lady I ever met. You should send your servers down for a refresher course on customer service from her. Sorry Mama's diner, but train or hire staff that actually care about their jobs and I might be back in the future.

Friends said this place was great. Reservation was made for a few of us. We waited an hour to be seated. Another half hour to give order. Meanwhile two people sitting at counter were served. Finally good arrives. My spaghetti was cold except for where the tasteless sauce sat. My chicken parmesan was soggy and tasteless. Then the salad with half a tomato and one slice of cucumber. Overall experience was bad. The one staff on the floor us overworked and so very kind and sweet. She gets a 10 that's about it.. will NEVER go back

What a garbage place. Though I did quite enjoy waiting for over an hour with 2 young kids, just to have them never even input our food order. Oh and I had to track down a server for my own menu and to give them my order. Graciously they comped my 2 coffees and kids' drinks. I hope no one suffers with their wait time again. Wish I could give less than 1 star.

The waitress was the only one on staff for wait staff she was rude and miserable. The milk tasted bad they couldn't accommodate us inside so we had to sit outside where it was beyond hot disgusting. And we had to wait 15 minutes for water in the 32° heat

A sweet, unpretentious little place not far fro the highway in Trenton. Prices were reasonable and staff are friendly. The food is average; parts of our food were very unevenly heated, but there was a large group that came in all at once, so I'm willing to cut the solo cook a break. Large portions; come hungry!

Absolute cheapest ingredients possible in nearly every dish, however one appetizer, one soup, two entrees and two drinks was $55. It all tasted like supermarket brand frozen food. The fryer oil needed to be changed, you could tell from the fries and onion rings. The soup and drinks were both very watered down. The vegetables were watery and wilted. If you want a "homestyle" meal like what momma's offers, save your money and make it yourself. Or better yet, visit your mom, she will probably cook it for you and it will be twice as good as the food here.

My husband and I went there for breakfast today and I must say that it was probably the worst breakfast we've had in a long time! The eggs were poached instead of cooked to order the home fries were just thrown in a deep fryer and weren't even cooked with no flavour I wouldn't even give it one star if I had an option.

Some of the worst service I have ever recieved. When we walked in the waitress asked if we were ready to settle up. We said we just wanted a table so she pointed at an empty table outside. We waited for 20 before we had to flag the waitress over to take our order and she thought we had already ordered. She came out a few times to fill coffees and skipped over my wife every time. We asked for salt, pepper, and ketchup when the food finally arrived and waited 10 minutes. Ultimately I went inside and grabbed the tray with condiments on it and when she showed up 20 minutes later with only salt and pepper (after some of us were finished) I told her I just got the stuff from inside and she berated me for going in and getting it myself. She said they are having a hard time dealing with only 2 waitresses and having to sanitize the tables but this wasn't April, they should have their strategy figured out by September, and with Covid they have half as many tables to deal with.

My husband and I go to Momma's Diner usually one to two times a month and we absolutely love it. You walk in and find yourself a seat. Its usually pretty full because it's so warm, cozy and the few staff are so very polite. They seem like a little family. We always order a breakfast because it runs all day and there nothing better then breakfast for dinner. The portions are always quite large, include coffee and the serve is always fast while the meal is always cooked to perfection. Me and my husband always leave very satisfied and the prices are so amazing that the meal is usually under $20 which truly is unheard of anymore especially for a sit down meal . We or course always like a $5 which is a 25% but with everything combined, its deserved. Try it out I guarantee you would be left down.

Had Lunch there this week. Excellent service and one of the best buffalo chicken wraps I have had in a long time. Had wonderful breakfast omlette the next day for breakfast. Fast and friendly service and a VERY clean and well kept diner. Too bad its not a block closer to Hwy 401, long haul truckers would love this place!!

There are tables and a counter for seating. I think this would be a nice place to go alone, too. It reminds me of the old Woolworth counters. Good clubhouse and fries. The fries are the homemade kind that taste good with vinegar. Steak was good. Not fancy, just a good home-cooked meal. The proportions are not huge but they are filling. We weren't able to eat everything. We saw that they make shakes. (We'll try one next time.) They are the old fashioned ones that are mixed with a Hamilton Beach mixer. Not from one of those ice milk machines that the fast food chains use. We'll definitely return.

The staff are super duper friendly. Had a very minor issue with the food received and casually mentioned it and received a whole new meal within a minute or three and was told to keep the old portion if I wanted it as well. Prices are pretty good and give pretty good portion sizes. I personally recommend the Breakfast Poutine! Super delish!

It's a casual eatery. I had hot roast beef. It's really nice and the quantity is awesome. Wished I didn't order the soup as I had to struggle to finish the whole plate. If this place is done up with this type of food, it would be five-star.

I ordered lunch to be picked up around 2pm today was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I got the chicken Caesar wrap, my wrap was cover in sause looks like they either dumped the bottle of sause on my wrap or just added way to much I took 1 bite try to wipe some of the sauce off and wrapped it back up and took another bite that didn't work. I never ate it and I am very disappointed as the wrap was awesome last time I had it now I don't think I'll ever be ordering a chicken Caesar warp from there again. Everything else was ok but my wrap.

My wife and I go here quite often for breakfast. Pretty standard fare but you get baked beans which is a nice touch. The staff is always friendly, fast, and courteous even if it's very busy.

Service was great, portion was awesome, liver was certainly not baby beef and left an after taste, burger was dry and bland and we moved seating because of urine smell from the washroom. Good communications between server to chef. The server with the purple hair was very good at her job and I would hire her for my restaurant.

I love Momma's Diner. It's has an old school feeling without being dirty. They serve breakfast all day, which is always a bonus. Anything I've eaten here was delicious and filling. You will spend less money here than you would pay for a fast food meal.

Service was good and the food was excellent! We had the Italian sausage burger and the steak casadillas and they were the best we ever had. We also had the Greek salad and it was fresh and tasty. We had chicken potato soup and we did not really like it. We were impressed with their cleanliness. I would definitely go again! Try it out!

When we first walked in, it took about 10 minutes to get noticed. Bad start. Looking at the menu, I wasn't expecting much with regards to the portion size, as things were quite cheap. I ordered the French Toast Supreme for 9.99. You get 6 half slices of french toast, 2 eggs, a choice of meat (I chose sausages and got 4), and beans. Food tasted great. Would definitely go again

Best i can say is its its traditional greasy spoon. Not very clean, the food is ok at best but the service is some of the worst ive seen. Is there any reason to see 5 dirty tables while the place isn't busy? And being told "ill get to it when i can" is far from the friendly apology id expect from a costumer service based business. Its not the costumers fault if the restaurant is understaffed, thats a management issue.
