Our favorite store with great accessibility and we go often. Just wish the would remove the word HANDICAPPED from their parking signs. Its insulting and against Canadian Human Rights and Bill C-81. May not seem important but it is very important and wrong that this still happens in Canada. We should do better.

Aside from some narrow aisles and a few choke points in the store layout, it's a fairly decent grocery store. You have to special shop though to get the best bang for your buck as some common items are surprisingly more pricey than other stores. Cashiers and other employees are always friendly and helpful.

I was there and I couldn't believe it that there's no one washing off the cart I told two people somebody put the cards back then they got someone to come and clean them they were doing so good and now with the virus the way it is again they're being very lazy and not keeping up to the rule and they were actually doing so good that store that's why I went there all the time..

This FreshCo is a very cheap place to shop! The parking is hard to find but the cheap prices will keep you searching for a spot to park then shop! The building is old but well maintained! The staff are well trained and friendly! Once I forgot an item and the cashier got another employee to get the item for me! Items such as mustard pickles and salt beef are sold at FreshCo. Other items that are hard to find in other supermarkets are sold at this supermarket!

The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because the isles need to be a little bit wider for shoppers to not feel so crowded together. Also once the stockers get on the floor with shoppers it can feel a little congested. Otherwise a great place and we always do our groceries there.

They advertise fresher cheaper. Lots of their produce are neither fresh or cheap but still good place to find stuff. Friendly and helpful staff.

This is my go to grocery store. The prices are great and the fresh produce has a wide selection and good quality. I especially love the newer environmentally friendly packaging on their produce! That is so fantastic!!! I hope more plastic-free packaging becomes available in other departments too. Their meat department has a great selection of Canadian meats in a variety of cuts. The dairy section is well stocked with eggs, cheeses and yogurts, which my kids are thankful for. The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. The store is clean and easily accessible, although some aisles feel a bit narrow now which may be to encourage people to travel single file in one direction. I don't remember them being narrow pre-Covid so I imagine this will revert back if things ever get back to normal. I appreciate the way they have people line up away from the cash registers. They call each person over in a safe and distanced manner which is far superior to other grocery stores where people are still lining up the traditional way and blocking off the flow of shoppers. Their organic and gluten free selection is not huge but has what I need for most day to day things which is great. Overall, (and Covid aside because who loves shopping right now?) I love coming here every week and will continue doing so.

What's there is very good! The produce and baked goods are usually very fresh. Generally good good selection for most things. Prices are (at worst) average to very good. The staff are very nice. The only issues I''ve had is that there are no natural products available and far to many expired yogurt containers remain on the shelf (in more than a dozen instances) for days or even months past their dates.

Some good prices, although expect your produce to be covered in mold more often than it is not covered in mold. There is nothing you could buy in this store that you couldn’t price match at Walmart and avoid this issue completely. We will no longer be buying our produce here, as even when we check it at the store, we still come home to find mold hiding somewhere. I don’t know how the health department hasn’t barred this store from selling anything with an expiration date. There are cakes sitting in your store being sold since before Christmas. Are you kidding me? It’s February!

Very disappointed. My mom just bought cream cheese marked for a dollar, fancy sticker and all. I checked the date and it was a month after the expiry date. Please don't tell me that sale wasn't intentional. Someone could get sick, please be more honest next time.

Plenty of food/grocery items to choose from. Pricing is fair, and hours are good. As far as grocery stores go this is a good option to shop at. Plus they price match (or did last I checked) which makes them even better because you can get more items in one place instead of going to several stores

People cut in the line that is clearly posted staff saw this and did nothing. Its been over a year people, follow the GD arrows, read the signs and pay attention. Maybe next time the staff can speak up instead of walking away.

Being a Trentonian, I want to support local businesses, but this one, I can no longer support. Today (May 2nd), I drove into the parking lot to see it almost full. I thought Ontario was in a lockdown! Anyhow, prices are reasonable, but the atmostphere is horrendous and high-schoolers run the show on the weekend . My teenage daughter and I just run from the place most nights. But today, the check-out was sillier than normal, as there were too many customers in the store and a confusing teller-prompting system had been set-up. I would recommend shopping in Belleville where the shopping experience is civilized, especially the store across from Staples. Everyone who wants discounted groceries - shops there!

Good selection, probably has the best prices in town as far as grocery stores go. Staff are friendly and the store is usually clean. They sell pre-made bags that you can buy for the food bank, and as far as I know, no other grocery store in town does this. Cons are that the layout in the parking lot and the checkout area are absolutely horrible. It isn't the best place to buy fresh produce so look elsewhere if you need veggies or fruits.

The owner of the store is rude, irritable and makes for an awkward/uncomfortable shopping experience every time I visit this location. I avoid shopping here as much as I can. I understand we're in a pandemic, I'm trying not to leave unhappy comments, but it's come to this. Word around town is that I'm not the only one who feels the same.

Only go here when there is good deals, I find everything is over priced. Nothing fresh about the bread, Usually goes stale after 2 days. Watched the owner get some groceries and made the cashier bag his groceries when they don't offer bagging for regular customers. Didn't like that.

Affordable good food options in a clean friendly environment. I won't give it 5 stars because I've seen on occasions (not many) products that aren't properly checked for expired dates. I always bring the attention to personnel to have it removed from the floor. Of course doing this, now there isn't anything left for me to buy this time but to wait for the next. That's my only concern and recommendation. Check expiry dates.

Decent store. Could be a bit more tidied. Gets a bit frustrating when shelves aren't properly stocked especially on sale items. This Store is close to where I live so it makes it easier to shop here but I do prefer the one in Belleville. Yet to be disappointed there.

For someone on a fixed income it was a good place to shop. As goes on tho so dose the cost of living and I'm finding it hard to shop there. I would go in with 40 50 dollars and come out with 6 or 7 bags of items but now I go in and I'm lucky to come out with 4 bags

This store is so well organized for the covid19 situation we are all in, from grocery aisles to cash out they have mastered the experience for their customers.

Well organized, follows COVID precautions with markings, sanitizer, etc. Assortment of more specialized items is limited by store size/ shelf space. For example, the baking isle has only two types of bread flour and a few basic yeast types, no milk powder. These were all ingredients I needed for my bread maker's basic recipe. Made a few substitutions, thanks to very helpful staff. There were only two isles open in check out, but both cashiers were efficient and really pleasant to customers. Overall, good experience - will shop there again.

Freshco is a good low price food store. They have a wide selection and good service. Unfortunately they do not have a deli counter and do not have some sale items in their flyer. Example was Vim which was in the flyer for $1. They did not have any in stock and said they didn't get any. P.S. Located on Trent River would be ideal if they had some windows overlooking the river.

Great place for grocery shopping. Very clean and neat. Everything is well labelled so easy to see price. Amazing sales and everyday prices. Shelves are always well stocked. Has great selection and a few items that are not easy to find in some other grocery stores. Their own brand of food seems to be great quality.

So first and foremost I go there because the staff are amazingly friendly. The owners are also friendly especially the wife. The husband has always been friendly to me he just happens to carry an intimidating look for most folks. I've only come across one difficult employee, and I'm sure the owners know who I mean. My only complaint is that sometimes the produce is unimpressive, again their great staff keep me coming back.

Nice feels great when walk in fresh. Should keep that feel going. Lack of meat department really cramped bread spot feels Walmart like. I will stick to m & p butcher and Baker for that. But love the variety and savings I hope floods dot hurt your business I love somethings that only you carry.
