Tasty breakfast last Saturday. Real potatoes, not frozen hash browns. The cheery waitress wore a mask which we, being older, we found reassuring. Most of the other customers wore masks too. We liked the sourdough bread toasted. Also the coffee was excellent Looking forward to another breakfast there.

My wife and I had a lunch and a breakfast here, both really good meals. The corn chowder at lunch was particularly delicious. Importantly, coffee is great! Highly recommend!

I don't know why people praise this place and only give it 4 stars... It makes no sense. They're very deserving of 5 stars. Their drinks and selection are awesome and the staff is even better. They were all friendly, helpful and know their coffee. I'll definitely be grabbing some java java every time I'm on Souris!

Great lunch spot! It was a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the smoothie and chowder were delicious and they were so helpful in supplying us with Receiver coffee.

This place has changed owners recently. Fortunately the food is just as good- probably better than before. The new Owners have really put their heart and soul into this cafe. They excel at soups in particular. The corn chowder and fajita soups are awesome. I have been a regular customer for 5 years. The menu is limited, which is a good thing - better to do a few things right than serving a mediocre but large menu. Coffees are great, salads are great. The prices are a bit high, but one must realize that most of the income for such a place is seasonal, so this is understandable. It's pretty busy at lunch during tourist season, be prepared to wait a bit- it's not "fast food". Free wifi. Clean washrooms at the tourist center next door. Pics coming soon.

The place is just perfect. Sophie treated us kindly and was always smiling, made us feel comfortable. We had sandwiches, salads and even cookies that came with the meal. Even the coffee was great. If you’re passing by to get the ferry, do try this place which has a nice terrace.

Had a very pleasant experience, my friends and I stopped in for lunch on our way back to Nova Scotia. I got the lunch wrap special, with chowder, and a coffee. The food was great, the coffee was great, and the service was great for how busy they were! I was pleasantly surprised, and would definitely return to the Evergreen Cafe in the future!

My wife said her grilled cheese was better than the lobster roll she had the night before (high praise), and they were very helpful in preparing a vegan wrap and soup. Also, the almond milk latte was on point. Great impromptu stop :) Great prices too

Good service,good food and some of the best coffee I had on my trip. I love places like this. Quiet and intimate in way. Quebec does this well and it's nice to see it elsewhere. They also had gluten free options so my son was happy. It's not a chain and that's why we went.
