The coffee. The staff. The owners. The products. The place itself. I sincerely can't recommend this place enough. They roast my favourite local coffee. Honestly as someone who often has to drink decaf, I almost cried the first time I had there's. Its not a compromise in taste at all. If you need to buy a gift for a coffee lover, are a coffee lover yourself, need a place to study, need an amazing pick me up cup of coffee, or even need to buy any kind of brewing supplies, be it machine, kettle, YOU name it. They have it. Or they can tell you where to find it. Haha And if you don't know what you need; they can help there too. A local must.

I am told that I will be called once the estimate has been made to tell me about the repairs to be made and advise me. I was never called back. I phone and I am told that it is normal not to be called for the estimate before 15 days. On the 15th day, I get a call telling me that my machine is ready, with no estimate. I go to the store on King O to settle the case for my machine and my bill goes up too expensive, more than I am able to pay for that machine. I call the person responsible for the repair and try to find common ground. I was told twice that I was going to be called back within given deadlines, I have never been called back yet. Success of a reduction agreement on my bill, but still pay a hundred dollars. No warranty on the repair when I pick up my machine. Still unable to use it, the group flows after the espresso, no crema with various grinding tests, the nozzle does not heat the milk. (Original) Mon expérience concerne seulement le service de réparation de machines, Je suis aller porter ma machine espresso au Hubert St-jean sur la King O et je paie pour une estimation. On me dit que je serai appelée une fois l'estimation faite pour me parler des réparations à faire et me conseiller. Je n'ai jamais été rappelée. Je téléphone et on me dit que c'est normal de ne pas être appeler pour l'estimation avant 15 jours. Au 15ième jour, je reçois un appel qui me dit que ma machine est prête, sans estimation. Je vais au magasin sur King O pour régler le cas de ma machine et ma facture monte trop cher, plus que ce que je suis capable de payer pour cette machine. J'appelle la personne responsable de la réparation et essaie de trouver un terrain d'entente. On me dit a deux reprises qu'on allait me rappeler dans des délais donnés, je n'ai jamais été rappelé encore. Réussite d'une entente de réduction sur ma facture, mais paie quand même une centaine de $. Aucune mention de garantie sur la réparation quand je vais chercher ma machine. Encore incapable d'en faire son utilisation, le groupe coule après l'espresso, aucun crema avec des essais de mouture variés, la buse chauffe mal le lait.

The girl at the checkout refuses to make eye contact with me, so I wait patiently in front of the checkout. Suddenly, she looks at me really dumbly and asks me (word by word) "what do you want". Not a single “hello” or “thank you, goodbye”. I was shocked at his arrogance, so quickly I grabbed my bags of coffee and walked out embarrassed to be talked to like that. Imagine thinking about doing good by supporting a local business and walking out of there feeling really poor and embarrassed. Never again for me!!! (Original) Je laisse rarement des avis negatifs, mais j’ai aussi rarement été servie de façon si bête. Je suis venue mercredi le 1e decembre a 17h chercher ma première commande de Café Hubert Saint Jean. La fille à la caisse refuse de me faire eye contact, alors j’attend patiemment devant la caisse. Soudainement, elle me regarde vraiment bêtement et me demande (mot par mot) “qu’est-ce que tu veux”. Pas un seul “bonjour” ou “merci, aurevoir”. J’étais shockée de son arrogance, alors rapidement j’ai pris mes sacs de café et je suis sortie gênée de me faire parler comme ça . Imaginez penser faire du bien en encourageant un commerce local et sortir de là, se sentant vraiment médiocre et gênée. Plus jamais pour moi!!!
