Thomas and his crew are as amazing as I could've expected. Food is great, drinks are legendary, and the ambiance is very laid back and fun. Definitely coming back here next time I'm visiting from the West Coast.

The system they use for purchasing food and drinks was a little confusing - you only order from the table, the online app is set up differently than the physical menu so it takes time to find the item you want, and you pay for everything, including the entry fee they now charge, at the end. I recommend not using the physical menu and just using the app. However, that is the last critical thing I can say about this wonderful place! The food is excellent, priced a little high but within a reasonable range for the quality they serve. The little snack cup is genius for someone like me who wants a little protein and a treat while you play. Staff is very friendly and helpful, wait time flies by while you're playing games. COVID protocols are clear and respected. Selection is a little tight compared to other places with room for multiple bookshelves, but still quite inclusive! They have all the classics and a ton of newer or indie games. They even have international versions of several games! Everything is color coded for fast and easy identification of 2 player, etc games. It is clear that great thought and care has been put into every aspect of this place. I will definitely be back, and I will definitely recommend to others!

I think the govt should make it illegal for restaurants to forcefully include service charges on their bills. If you think the food and the drinks deserve such high value then just mark up the prices on the menu. A loyal customer would be more than happy to pay. And if you do not have enough royal customer? Well I guess you have a bigger problem there. Leave the service charge alone please. So we can actually tip willingly and reward the good servers. And of course tip nothing for zero and / or negative experience as we have encountered at this place.

Came here with a group of 6 around 10pm on a Friday and had to wait for a table. Thankfully a big group left as we came in so we were sat within 5 minutes, but the place is really small so come here expecting to wait. I don’t really like that they say you have to buy $10 worth of food/drink per person for every 3 hours but we only stayed for two so it wasn’t an issue. The food was okay and they had most of the popular games but they weren’t in the best condition. Honestly Snakes and Lattes is way better but if you live in Scarborough and don’t want to travel all the way to Yonge and Eglinton or Bathurst, this place is still fun.

It wasn't too busy when I came which I liked. Lots of big long white marble tables good for groups or for less. I came by myself. I got the longan red jujube teapot and would've lasted me well over 2 hours by myself. It's enough for 2 ppl tho and tasted great. They have a minimum one order per 3 hours and have board games etc as well.

I was told there was a new bubble tea place opened in this plaza so I came to check it out. I got some drinks off there grand opening special menu which was very reasonably priced. I did enjoy my drink (purple butterfly) but my friend didn't really enjoy his. Didn't get to play board games here as we only came for take out drinks. Will definitely find a night to chill here next time and order from their main menu!

Was surprised on how well the environment was for being a board game cafe. For someone who loves board games this place is heaven on earth. The bubble tea is also great! Holds up to the hype for being in an area filled with other bubble tea shops. I highly recommend it.

Menu showed bubble waffles and instead we got square waffles. They also gave us an item with nutella and when asked if there was nutella the waitress said no, but then the manager had to come 5 minutes later to clarify. NEVER coming again.

My friends and I were looking forward to this place but we were let down. The drinks were all watered down and the food was mostly bad or mediocre. We also ordered a hot Mocha which took 45 minutes to come (with no apology for the lateness), and when it did come, it was lukewarm. The food, including the chicken wings and fries, were very bland. The food was pretty expensive for its small size as well. The workers also kept bugging us to order more food which got annoying when we were trying to play our games. The boardgames were okay, there weren't too many games for big groups and not too many popular big games. The chairs were also really uncomfortable to sit on, so choose the couches if you come.

We walked around the plaza and randomly stumbled upon this place. We were sold on the friendly staff who were always smiling. The place can get packed so having reservations is recommended. The drink was worth it and staying here to play their board games was a bonus.

Seeing the other reviews here I probably should’ve stayed away but it was a new board game cafe in the area so my friends and I wanted to try it. Pretty much any other bubble tea in the area is better.

First I love their logo so cute and the name fits perfectly. They have a wall of games for you to enjoy with friends or family. Food, desserts and snack menu available as well. Prices are on the expensive side but definitely worth a try. My favourite so far is the Purple Butterfly (purple is my favourite colour so may be bias lol) Red Rose and the Blue Sea. Cute names as well. IF you want to you can add a snack on top cute.

Worst experience ever!! The bell in the cafe is broken, and we had to order at the front desk. We got no service at all for the duration of our time in the cafe, but we were forced to pay 10% service fee. Plus, the food and drinks are overpriced. Will never go back again. Avoid Twilight Cafe at all cost!

Really good bubble tea. They opened awhile ago and I was very surprised that there wasn’t a line up! It’s better then the bubble tea stores around that area!!! It has a very chill environment and so much games to play. Me and my friends have a new spot now! All their drinks taste and look so artificial. Don't get me wrong, the place is nice, comfy chairs, and a lot of great games, but the drinks are straight up disappointing. I ordered a mango smoothie and its literally separating. Much rather prefer Cocos next door.

Cute cafe! Ordered waffle and ice cream, waited a bit for it but they had plenty of games and cozy seats. The strawberry ice cream was SO GOOD! I was already full from dinner and did not expect to want to eat all of this! The menu looked great, lots of cool drinks I would like to try. Games were neatly organized and well kept

2-in-1 Snack and Drink cup is just GENIUS ???? Twilight cafe is one of my go-to places for board games in Scarborough ???????? it’s perfect for group hangouts! Make sure to make a reservation before dropping in because they are usually busy, especially on weekends. I love all the BBT on their menu and you can even add a snack cup to any drink. I got the Taiwanese Fried Chicken with Red Velvet Latte ☺️

Instant noodles cost $8 plus you have to pay $6 game fee even if you order something. I don't mind paying a game fee but why is the food so expensive? Also so understaffed, they had one girl taking care of everything on Sunday lunch time and I felt so bad for her. She was amazing though.

If you are looking for an well priced and amazing board game cafe, that is your place to go. The board games are all very new and clean, and you got many to choose from. The staff are super nice, they always give you thoughtful recommendations. The environment is so cozy and warm. Only spend few dollars on drinks and you can play any board games for three hours without extra cost. I recommended this place 10 out of 10.

Wow! As a bubble tea connoisseur I was blown away by the bubble tea they serve, absolutely exquisite. The matcha in the matcha float tastes like it was imported straight from Japan. Ambience was very cozy and inviting, as were the friendly staff. Very impressive new spot, great place to play board games. Toronto needs more of these.

Not sure why an attack on my favourite cafe is about. I always come here on weekends with my friends to play Catan and monopoly. Their food is limited but is definitely good. The drinks are Chattime and The Alley worthy. Much support for my favorite cafe <3

The drinks are great here. A bit pricey compared to some of the other bubble tea places around but they are good so cant complain. Good variety of games and at the moment it’s $6 an hour per person for first 3 hours. Then it’s $6 for another 3. Not a lot of food choices. More snacks/appetizers than a meal but they are still good. Staff are very nice and even bring the drinks too you. Good amount of space and seats.

I've only ordered takeout during this pandemic but I have to say this place is amazing! The tea is extremely aromatic and flavorful! I've had bubble tea from a lot of other places and this place hits the spot! The service for takeout is fantastic and they definitely know how to make amazing drinks! I highly recommend checking this place out and if you love grass jelly then this place makes theirs extremely silky! 10/10 will be visiting this place more often especially after the pandemic is over.

Pros: late night closing & a plethora of board games to choose from! Cons: mediocre service, disappointing menu items; ordered ‘americano’ & iced ‘coffee’ which really tastes like instant coffees; bubble waffles weren’t made to order - cold & chewy by the time they were served instead of toasty & fluffy; ice cream reminded us of the kind you get from a large plastic tub! And lastly the bubble tea drinks were made too sweet although it was customized to taste. Save your money and go elsewhere!!!

I wish I knew about this place earlier! At first glance I thought this was just a boardgame cafe that served a few drinks and some simple snacks... Boy was I wrong! Fantastic selection of fancy and delicious drinks and then some crazy options like Kimchi soup and dumplings?!? Yes please! All in all this was a fantastic experience and we will be coming back!

At first, I was hesitant on goin to this place, I mean, there are so many bbt places in and around the area. I made the right choice by going; I settled for a roasted milk tea with grass jelly, I personally feel like a lot of places either have too much ice or sugar even when I ask for half sugar and half ice. The grass jelly was good, not overly hard and the place was very inviting, definitely would recommend this place as a good spot to chill since their board game collection is massive.

I think one of the employee was Thomas, he informed us that it was their soft opening, and I was blown away by his professional courtesy. For example, when the staff made the milk tea wrong, Thomas made the correct drink and refunded the money! What a professional courtesy. Paid almost $8 for a regular size milk tea with tapioca that tastes bad and powdery. If I paid $8 for a drink, I expect it to be at least good. Tastes like T &T milk tea and I honestly would rather go there, less than half the price. Wifi does not work so can't get any work done. I honestly don't know why they have business when there is Coco right next door and other Asian dessert and bubble tea places. Go get yourself some grocery store bubble tea and just play some board games at home, much better and more worth

Had an amazing bbt and board game experience here. Came in on a sat night with a group of 8 and it was packed but the staff were super courteous and attentive - made sure our waiting experience was not painful. Food and drinks were actually amazing which shocked me seeing as most board game places have terrible food and drinks. Get the squid balls, takoyaki, peach tea with tapioca or matcha latte float!! Definitely coming back again

So I came here excited to try a new place and play some board games. But from the moment I got in I was completely ignored and when I ask to dine in the reaction was like the staff don’t want me there even tho they have a table with plenty of spots. I hope the management do something about it since this behaviour is really disrespectful with the customers

The boardgames selection is nice to have in this neighborhood and the staff is really friendly, so besides the drinks, it's great!
