Love taking a walk here for a coffee break during my work day. I’ve been buying coffee here since before they moved locations—I was so happy to hear they were expanding the business! The new spot has such a welcoming and beautiful atmosphere with lots of seating available to sit and sip on your drink. My go-to drink is the Crown Ice Coffee with a shot of hazelnut. For an extra sweet treat I get the Lotus Biscoff Milkshake. If it’s available, make sure to try their tiramisu as well: affordable and delicious, plus it pairs perfectly with coffee. Truly a hidden gem in Scarborough.

A friend recommended me to try this coffee shop. The decor and overall aesthetic is very nice :) Prices are reasonable. I purchased the Crown Iced Coffee with hazelnut syrup and with oat milk. It was delicious! Staff was friendly and helpful :) They give you complimentary cookies with your drink! I’ll be sure to come whenever I’m in the area. Best of luck to your establishment!

From the moment you walk into the shop you are greeted with a freshly ground coffee aroma (owner roasts coffee in store!!) and a wonderful smile from the owner herself. Ive visited several times and my favourites by far are Royal Tea which is the perfect fall/winter drink and the Crown Ice Coffee which I can drink year round at any point in the day for an energy boost. Also for lactose intolerant people like myself there is an oat milk option which I love! The fresh cookies are a must as well. Lastly there are the packaged coffee and tea products that make amazing gifts for friends and family. I would definitely recommend checking out this spot if you're in the GTA!

I have been coming here since the location was across at highlands farms. The first time I came I arrived at closing , but the owner was kind enough to take my order after closing. When I decided to return back the location moved, but still had the friendly service that was provided the first time. What I enjoy the most about this place is the coffee is always fresh, and roasted in house. The friendly customer service that is provided. Other factors is for me is that it is a black owned business and woman owned. If you are looking for looking for a good coffee, service and just a great atmosphere this is the place for you.

Bought one of each the Royal Tea and Royal Coffee, both absolutely yummy. The coffee is smooth, not at all burnt, and the mix of spices in the tea were perfection! The girl was lovely as well, the perfect spot when you want a GOOD cuppa, no disappointments!

Delicious high quality coffee! Available hot or iced with non dairy options. Cookies, muffins available as well! I’ve seen on Instagram they also do a really amazing looking avocado toast (on my list of things to try!). My go to is the Royal Coffee with Oat milk. It is so smooth and delicious! I also tried and looooved the tiramisu. It comes in a single serving cup. Freshly made by the owner! My mom is crazy for the Cinnamon & Cardamom tea. The bag is a great size! I love that they have options to make their tea and coffee at home. It is super cute inside! Very good friendly service! Located facing the Highland Farms, easy access for parking. A bit of a angled parking lot but this shop is easily accessible without the need for stairs.

What an absolute gem! I saw this place recommended on a reddit thread about Toronto's best coffee and was pretty surprised to see some Scarborough representation in what normally has a very downtown/west-end, white hipster-centred hype. So, I was nearby and popped in on a whim. You may miss it from the outside but it's lovely and airy inside. The woman working there was incredibly lovely and knowledgeable and shared so much advice about the coffee. I ended up getting their signature coffee and it was so tasty. The pastries are also amazing. I'm going to come back another day and try some of the food as well as enjoy the atmosphere. So bright, so relaxed. Perfect cafe vibes. I also took home a bag of freshly roasted coffee and have enjoyed it since! All of them are single origin African beans roasted onsite, which makes it even better. I hope this place stays around for a long time because it is fantastic, and there's plenty of parking! So glad some random Redditor mentioned them. I honestly don't know how people go to any chain coffee shops when cafes like this exist.

I am very picky when it comes to coffee . I am the type girl who likes a nice strong , dark roast cup of coffee . Once this place opened I decide to give it a try . Let me tell you beautiful atmosphere and most of all a good solid cup of dark roast coffee. Sometimes if you walk in you smell the coffee beans . Don’t get me started on there desserts you can’t go wrong on any them . You must try this gem of a coffee place you won’t regret all the staff at my nursing home they all about this place .

It’s hard to find cute independent cafes in Scarborough, and Royaltea is a great one! The interior decor is nice and bright, there’s tons of tables and outlets, the staff are super friendly, and the drinks are great. I always love coming back to Royaltea to do work, study, or hang out with friends. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for ambiance beyond the generic Starbucks or Tims.

Ordered from them for the first time on Skip and LOVED the oat iced coffee! Probably the best tasting coffee I’ve had in a long time, honestly so much better than Starbucks with the flavour (and I drink Sbux every day). I had also ordered a Tiramisu but they were out so the person who packed my order was super sweet and packed me a box of treats to make up for it ????. Seriously, order from them if you can or drop by if you’re in the area. Their coffee and service is fantastic.

It's a hidden gem. Hard to find but totally worth it. You know you are getting fresh clean ingredients and there's no unnecessary additions. Coffee is ground right when you order and they have options for whole milk, oat milk etc. The lady there was very sweet, she mistakenly overcharged us for 3 muffins instead of one but immediately refunded for all 3 and said it was on her. We insisted to pay but she wanted to make up for it. I really enjoyed the ice coffee, it tasted great and had the right amount of ice, not like the other chain coffee stores where it's mostly just ice. Very clean and quality service! Will definitely go back

As soon as you walk in you’re welcomed with the aroma of freshly roasted coffee and baked goods. The shop itself has a rustic European theme perfect for pictures! My friend and I ordered the RoyalTea, Crown iced coffee with a blueberry muffin and cookies & cream cookie. EVERYTHING tasted phenomenal! The owner was very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely come spend my money here every chance I get. Highly recommend.

Clean, cosy cafe similar to independent stores you'd find in and around downtown! Ordered milk tea similar to South Asian chai which was quite nice, alongside a tasty blueberry muffin. Appreciated that the blueberries were fresh and plentiful, muffin was soft. Friendly service, will try their coffee next time as they roast in house and you can buy the whole beans as well for home.

I was referred here by 3 people I know and let me tell you that it did not disappoint! The original tea with a dash of honey is amazing!! Not only is it a must try but please do yourself a favour and also order the desserts! My mom and I absolutely LOVED the chocolate chip brownie cookie and the ginger molasses cookie. The regular chocolate chip cookie is very good too if you think the brownie one is too much chocolate. I’m excited to try the loose bag tea I bought for home. Will definitely be coming back. The ladies working were beyond friendly and courteous. Excellent customer service!!!

Nice place. Good cappuccino. Friendly staff. I didn't try the food but the coffee is good. Good layout of the space. Wall outlets for laptops at every table. Parking is in the side of the building. Only thing really missing is music!! Sounded (or should I say lack of sound) like it was a library. Pop in some in ceiling speakers with some nice vibe music and good to go !

nice to find a leveled up coffee shop in Scarborough! the aesthetics, vibe and taste are all there in this amazing place! the interior has that cozy but modern feel amd love how the roaster is just there for everyone to see and admire! had one of their seasonal specials which was the cinnamon bun latte. Tasted exactly like a Cinnabon in latte form! The creaminess of the latte was perfect! I do wish for a stronger tasting roast, but when in latte form, it works so well as you get that specialty flavour! Service was bang on! The attendant helping me gave me suggestions and was super nice! Great job overall! Definitely has become one of my go to spots when i hit up Scarborough now! So thankful I discovered this place, the coffee is superb, the actual coffee shop itself is beautifully designed and has a calming atmosphere. One of the many things I love about this place besides their amazing, inviting and sweet staff, is that there is no music playing. It makes it less distracting and easier to focus especially when you come here to study, and allows for actual conversations to happen without loud obnoxious music. Can’t say enough good things about this gem of a coffee shop, just come here and prepare to be amazed by the wonderfully delicious and royal taste of pure African coffee.

Today was my first time coming here and I'm blown away by the warmth and kindness I experienced. If you're looking to support local and drink some really good coffee & tea - definitely come by here! The owner is v sweet and took the time to answer any questions I had :) The cafe is super easy to locate - it's just across Highland Farms! Coffee beans are roasted and ground in house, and they offer milk alternatives. I got an iced coffee and tea - both were phenomenal and rich in flavour - and the coffee is better than Starbucks by a mile. I also got a bag of medium roast coffee which the owner kindly ground for me so that I can use it in a french press! The ambience is filled with the smell of fresh ground coffee, the sweetness of honey, and there's beautiful mural which folks will love to take pics with. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I've been to Royaltea Coffee three times so far and each time has been excellent! Edil is so sweet and friendly and provides awesome service. She also has a 10 drink loyalty card! My sister and I enjoy the white chocolate mochas and she has an excellent cinnamon and cardamom tea of which my boyfriend bought a pack. The ambiance is fun and the beautiful mural on the wall is great for Instagram coffee posts. Highly recommend!

My brother and I are always looking for new coffee shops to try but its been quite difficult amid the pandemic. When we saw Royaltea Coffee on UberEats, we decided to give it a shot and it is now one of our favourite places to order coffee from! Everything we've tried so far has been a hit but some of my personal favourites are the iced chai latte, tiramisu, crown iced coffee, and their pumpkin spice infused coffee.
