Saturday May 15th early afternoon, around 11:30 AM; I came through the drive-through and ordered a macchiato with oat milk. They asked if we wanted it in a large cup or a medium, and I asked if it was just a traditional macchiato with 2 shots of espresso and a bit of foam on top. They said yes, and we said the smallest cup they have is fine since it's a small drink. When we got up to the window, she handed us the drink (big ol' drink, wasn't a macchiato) and said it was $5.50. When we asked why it was so expensive, she said it was because they had to charge us for an extra shot, and the milk. (I knew it was going to be a bit more expensive from the oat milk, but I don't understand the added shot charge..) We were still confused, and the woman said in a super snarky tone "Would you like me to just remake it for you?!" I said no it's fine I just didn't understand the extra charge. After I paid and left a tip, and while we were all still discussing it, she said "FINE THEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T PAY FOR IT." And slammed the window in our face. This is after I had already paid and it went through.. You guys should try to work on your customer service over there, because that was absolutely brutal.

They roast their own beans & create their own blends. The coffee is kept warm in insulated carafes so you never get the burned coffee taste from the pot being left on a warming plate. The friendly staff and great coffee more than compensate for the plain decor.

I don't know why but all the coffee tastes burned. Like the roaster has dirty crevices spoiling the flavour of all the coffee. If you like your coffee bitter and sharp, you won't notice. if you like a full bodied mellow roast with a caffeine edge smooth as a japanese sword, don't buy it here. the conversations in summer can get good if you sit at the right sidewalk table, so it stays busy. Free wifi too. they do offer almond milk for your chai latte.

First time visiting this Broadway Roastery location. I must say that they space every table out very well in order to adhere to Covid protocols. The decor was quite nice. I’ve had the Green Tea Latte and the carrot cake. They offer free parking and also has a drive-thru as well. The staff were absolutely pleasant. I’ll be coming back at this location!

Nice interior. It seems like this place attracts a trendy, younger crowd. It's a little expensive for my liking considering what coffee is, which is why I don't give it a 5 stars. It's what you pay for atmosphere. I prefer black coffee, so I always try a black when I go to a new coffee shop. Their's was a good strength, not too bitter or acidic, and the beans weren't burned to Oblivion by either roasting or too hot of water. I didn't like the taste that much, but I'd put that up to the daily blend.

Great place for a coffee. Usually not too busy, nice relaxing atmosphere. I’m only giving 4 stars because of the parking situation. On more than one occasion I’ve had to go somewhere else because I simply could not find a parking spot, even down the adjacent side street. It seems there could be more spots made on the east side of the building if they would consider a row of angle parking spots or something. Aside from that, this is my favorite place for a cup of coffee.

A very cozy place where you can meet people over a nice cup of coffee or their latte. Also find it quiet enough to get your work done. So bring your laptop and yourself and just enjoy the atmosphere. I find parking a bit challenging at times to find, however if you track you steps, another way to hit that goal by parking down the street. Summer the patio opens up and makes it super Vitamin D Loaded Coffee Break!

They absolutely have the best coffee in town. Not surprising, because they roast on premises. The people working there are friendly and they know their coffee. Had my sister there a few weeks ago, and got her a coffee, she only took a small cup which she later regretted, apparently she didn't trust me to get her a great cup of coffee! ????‍♂️ Her loss... I would have given it a five star, but the wifi sucks. So I go for the coffee, but for the wifi, I have to go elsewhere. It would be nice to stay there if it was better, cause they could only gain with the refills of coffee I'd be getting....

The Mediocre: (1) They only have a small selection of teas. While they do have both bagged and loose tea it's really just a handfull of both types. If you want Roobis or Gunpowder Green tea then look elsewhere (personally I recomend Mystic Java, they have a huge selection of teas) (2) The menu board is not well designed; It is hard to read unless I am two feet from the service counter. Why is that? Well, it's becasue the font size is way too small for how far away the menu is from the counter. They could easily increase the size of the counter by 1.5 of it's current size and then increase the font size to match. Better yet, just move the menu closer to the front counter. Hell, there is enough unused space on that front counter there's no reason why the menu couldn't even be ON the front counter! The owner needs to learn from how other quick-service shops have designed their menus. (3) The WiFi range is horrible. If I am sitting in the far NE cornner of the building I will be lucky if I can get one bar of reception. They need to upgrade their WiFI router: Either get a repeater/extender for the second room of replace the existing router with an 802.11ac capable unit. (4) Not much parking space. The Good: (1) Lots of space. There's about twenty tables inside and another dozzen or so on the patio, plus half a dozzen bar-style narrow tables lining the windows. It's not cramped or claustrophobic like most Starbucks are. (2) Fresh coffee, roasted and ground on site. They'll even let you pick out any of the beans you want, custom-grind it for you right in front of you and then make you a cup of whatever you want from that. Now that's service! (3) Relaxed atmosphere. It's not owned by a big faceless heartless corporation and it shows.

Good coffee, but I think management is a bit paranoid about people wanting to "game the system" and as such they leave some untoward signage that take away from the experience. I get that some people try to spend too much time in, bring outside food in, etc., but bothering good patrons with all those unpleasant signs is not the best way to correct the behaviour of a small minority of customers.

Love the drinks and atmosphere: always smells great from them roasting their beans fresh. Vietnamese ice coffee and London fogs are amazing. Wifi is shotty and parking is a struggle during busy times, though... especially since the neighbours to the east have decided to crack down on visitors in their parking lot even though it’s empty during the day since it’s a bar. Not the roastery’s fault!

Terrible. Group of 4 of us went there for coffee and treats. No place to sit as 4 tables for 4 occupied by only one person sitting on their laptops without as much as a glass of water. When I mentioned to barista he said nothing they could do. Didn't really care that the 4 of us and another group of 4 left without purchasing anything and we're not happy. We all said would not ever come back. I'll be sure to spread the word.

Their cafe broadway is an excellent choice as it is made with steamed chocolate milk, chocolate whipped cream, and their house made hazelnut espresso beans. They have a lot of seating. The wifi can be quite spotty.

Today on family day, the place was packed. Beeb a while since I went there. Good arguments if coffee, teas as well af a few sweets baked daily (I would assume). We ordered a couple of green tea matcha latte . Not as sweet as advertised, talked to the baristas and added some syrup right away. we will return.

The aroma of coffee is amazing, smells delicious when you walk in. The staff are always friendly, welcoming. They make an awesome London fog, good selection of sweets/ pastries.. The cinnamon twist are a great little sugar fix.. If your in a rush, drive thru is available, however you really must go in and enjoy the goodness.

I rarely sit down in their store. It's my go to place for roasted beans. They have a wide variety of in-house roasted beans and do a great job of roasting if you prefer medium or dark roasts. The Americano is top notch.
