A wondeful little place with that clean, modern Scandinavian vibe to it.

I haven't been to the store but I've had their coffee at numerous local restaurants. All their coffee has a very distinct burnt and bitter taste. I used to think these local restaurants were serving old, cheap nabob but this is actually Venn's signature flavor.

Les Klassen Hamm

Reliably good coffees, and reliably wonderful service.

Max

Best coffee in town, don't @ me.

Jay Hails

It unapologetically is what it is. If you want something custom or a warm greeting, go elsewhere. Venn is here to tell you stoically what you’re drinking today. The back alley ambience is stellar and makes you feel like you’re in on a secret.

Became my new favourite coffee shop in the city on opening day. Well done.

nomad_paul

Best coffee in the neighborhood! Every cup of coffee is precisely made and brewed fresh. The place is kinda hidden, which added more delight to your surprise whenever you found yourself lost in this beautiful cafe gem. Servers are all awesome and helpful to all your inquiries. Nice place to hangout and talk to people!

Jon Poulin

It is located in the back alley behind Amigos. Coffee was not good as they had an odd taste to them like Spitz sunflower seeds. We both ended up throwing our coffees out. Staff was friendly, but the location was a challenge to find.

Emilio Portal

best hidden coffee shop in saskatoon.

L B

Ethically sourced and roasted coffee from people who care. A great atmosphere to chill out with a coffee and Night Oven treats. Go here, drink coffee, be happy.

Just ordered an iced latte, grabbed a butter croissant, and picked up a bag of coffee for home. Friendly service and a cute little area to sit. The croissant from the Night Oven Bakery was delicious and my iced latte was perfect. Will definitely be back.

Had a refreshing cold brew with mini ice chunks. The coffee wasn't compromised by the cold, a great way to cool off and wake up.

Nice place, but depending on the barista, a cortado can be good (never excellent) or undrinkable (please see photo). Definitely not "Museo quality" coffee but better than average.

Theo Prankev

They don't have milkshakes.

F Rawlyk

They roast their own beans in house. I've had a few lattes and they have all had a smooth texture, a yummy, woodsy flavor, and cute art. I liked their home-made iced teas in the summer. I highly recommend trying out a pastry while you are there.

Nick Hatch

This Saskatoon local roaster is putting out truly good 3rd Wave coffee. Their Grasslands blend is terrific in our Oster drip machine at home and you get a complimentary espresso every time you buy a bag. The staff is top quality and the location is intimate yet full of natural light and a very cosmopolitan feel. This is a "must visit" café in Saskatoon's coffee scene.

Wonderful espresso. Great local Roasters. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Fav place to go for a coffee in town.

Christopher Johnson

Very good latte. The milk wasn’t scorching hot and burnt. It was creamy, light, and smooth. Delicious.

Dan Matthews

Superb local roaster with a uniquely satisfying espresso and an espresso tonic absolutely perfect for hot summer days.

Cynthia Anderson

Nice, small, intimate specialty coffee shop. Great coffee, delicious pastries, just off Dufferin. In an alley next to Amigos.

The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. The coffee and food is also tasty. The iced tea is a must have in the summer. It's usually pretty quiet. They also offer coffee art competitions, coffee making classes, and brew tastings. Also locally owned and their food is bought from local bakeries. They roast their own coffee as well. It's hard to find the first time you go but it's just behind amigos bar in the alley way.

Rob Vestrum

We loved the location along the back alley of this hipster neighbourhood. The flavours of the coffee are rather subtle, so definitely order a smaller size or add an extra shot.

Rachelle Low 刘瑞玲

My favourite coffee shop in the city. Baristas are friendly and skilled. I always get their lattes. Give their seasonal lattes a go! This is also the place I frequent to get my coffee beans. Always freshly roasted. :)

Aaron Genest

One of the best coffee places in Saskatoon. 2kg bags of roasted coffee can be ordered for pickup. Locally owned. Well paid employees.

Akshay Chauhan

Venn Coffee Roasters has a really cool Coffee Brewing class. 0 to coffee snob in one hour.

Kris Vanspauwen

We had an unexpected and wonderful cupping experience at Venn when we went around for a coffee. It says a lot about their dedication to share knowledge about the specialty coffee community!

Bruce Corporal

Great coffee , nice sundeck, friendly and passionate staff

Elise Pallagi

Very accommodating. Great drinks! Excellent service!

Sam Redekop

One of my favourite coffee shops in town. The coffee is always great. The staff are friendly and good at what they do. Only two things I wish were different: I prefer almond milk over oat as my dairy alternative and it would be nice to have that option; and I wish there was more seating. I never go to a coffee shop to grab coffee and go, it’s always to sit down and enjoy myself, and I frequently find that Venn’s limited seating is completely full (and often with very few people actually there) and I have turned around and left without getting coffee because of that. But if those two things change, it’s 5 stars for sure!

Skilled baristas, excellent new-school coffees, and a minimalist atmosphere, tucked away into the alley between amigos and the bike doctor. It's a pretty amazing place to sit and sip when the afternoon sun drifts in! They also do a great job of their seasonal specials.

mags

Very cozy and the staff are all friendly. Their open mic nights are always a good way to end the day

Theodore Mainhart

Not to make anyone mad but hands down best coffee place in Saskatoon and many other cities.

Riley Daku

Best iced oat milk latte in the city!!

Tyson McShane

Great, great coffee. Their Borealis blend is my current go to for my french press, but their Grasslands is great too.

Janice Urlacher

I was disappointed that there was no choice of baked good.

Christine Young

I appreciate Venn because of their great coffee, but also because one time I ordered a latte to go and was in such a rush that I smacked it over and spilled it everywhere as soon as the barista set it on the counter and instead of making me feel like a massive train wreck he very kindly made me a new one and minimized my public shame as much as possible.

Derek Barber

Fantastic coffee!

michael Belt

Love it here, feels like you found lost treasure.

Andy Yuen (Andy & Rachel)

Really enjoyed my Americano at Venn. To me Venn has the most consistent tasting Americano in Saskatoon. Really great staff and good vibes.

Excellent roaster, great baristas and funky alley spot!

Jenn Waygood

Great coffee, simple atmosphere, welcoming.

Greg Poelzer

One of Saskatoon’s best hidden gems—both figuratively and literally. This cafe is hard to find the first time as it is tucked away in the alley behind the Bike Doctor. The cafe is bright with Nordic clean lines and light wood sensibilities and very cozy. The barista who served us was very knowledgeable, welcoming, and clearly enjoyed crafting coffee. It is an artisan cafe and roastery that is not prententious. This micro-roastery brings some of the best coffee to Saskatoon, featuring Scandinavian style light roasted coffees. If you have travelled, worked, or lived in Sweden or Norway, you will enjoy Venn Coffee.

Clean and tidy little shop not much seating but the staff and beverages are fantastic.

George Ohki

Just had an espresso there, ground fresh from single source Colombian beans… phenomenal extraction, serious caffeine punch… puts $tar$s to shame, that’s for sure. You know you’re at a serious roaster when they stamp the roast date on the bag, hint hint $tar$s…thanks guys, keep doing you, love it!

This is a cool location with a cool atmosphere. Lindsey helped me that day and she was GREAT!!! I had a coffee with some cream and sugar that I will definitely be going back for!

Dean

I live in Melbourne, Australia so yes I'm a bit spoiled with the best coffee In the world. Was hoping this would be better than other Saskatoon Cafes but the coffee is just as bitter, disgusting and horrible as Tim Hortons. I didn't even finish it, it was too burnt and bitter. I can understand why my sisters don't like coffee. It's strange, all coffee has the same burnt taste here, I dont understand how anyone finds it a pleasant taste. Also, even the milk wasn't steamed well, my coffee looked watery instead of velvety. Yuck.
