It really has the "small coffee shop" vibe I've been looking for! They're also regularly open late, which is something most coffee shops around this city lack!

Well it is a coffee shop, and a coffee shop should at least sell good coffee. Their Latte was way too hot.. had to wait a long time before drinking it. Also it tastes just like there is too much water… no taste. I tried all the coffee shops in Saskatoon and this one is low on my list

The thai iced tea was great. The butter chicken wrap was ok....certainly not great. As I sat and debated whether or not to try a pastry or brioche I watched a young woman, with longer than shoulder length hair, come to the counter and repeatedly flip her hair forward and finally flipped her hair right over the counter so that the staff member could smell it. I don't know if this woman was a staff member or friend of staff. Either way....highly inappropriate. Needless to say I left without ordering anything else....and I won't be back. There needs to be some proper food sanitation and food handling skills taught to people that work in the industry....especially if this woman was staff...and even if she wasn't....staff should not be sniffing her hair as it is draped over the food service counter. ????Yuk

Lattes are almost perfect temperature when you get them but that means the cool quite quickly. (And I often order half syrup) Rewards card for food and drink separately (10th free) They change up the art hanging on the walls regularly and all of it is for sale. Lots of space to sit (and many different types of seats) but it still gets very full sometimes! (Usually) friendly staff. Some have accents that may be difficult for some people to understand. I have gotten conflicting results on the same drink order (mystic margarita), and death glares and sass a couple times. Coffee quality is great and consistent. Quick service. Stay in mugs or to go cups available. Free ice water always. Can be pretty loud sometimes and once or twice a local singer will come in without any real notice for customers... Clean tables, floor can get pretty dirty (but I’ve really never minded), bathrooms are a whole nother story! (Women’s) Often kind of under a little bit of construction, 2 stalls, cleanliness very inconsistent. Board games available but usually missing pieces (not even a full set of cards) Free WIFI! TLDR: nice little place to go for coffee with a friend. Don’t judge it too hard (good or bad!) the first time you go. 3(.5) stars for inconsistency.

Since changing owners and names Erons is now my favourite place to grab lunch and coffee. Everyone there is fantastic. Below is my previous 1 star review of Mystic Java: Rude employee, I asked inquired about buying a specific syrup (which they sell and I have purchased many times). The employee refused to look (which is fine if they know they are out) but they were super rude and snippy. Honestly, I'm completely turned off to one of my favourite coffee places now.

Mystic Java's Ham and Havarti sandwich on their jalapeno bagel is my absolute favourite cafe breakfast sandwich. They also have a good rotation of unique and interesting coffee blends like Caramel Crunch and Highlander Grog, just to keep things interesting for the regulars. I also enjoy their other beverages quite a bit. The hours are also really good at the 8th St. location. I highly recommend coming here to do homework, chat with friends, or maybe for a cliche coffee first date.

The owners treat their staff so poorly it has made me refuse to come back and spend money here. I would never suggest this coffee shop to anyone. It makes me sick to watch them yell at and takes tips away from employees, among many other disrespectful things that are being done not only to employees but to customers as well. Also disclosure any review over 5 months ago is directed from Mystic Java. Way to go Eron Coffee House for ripping off Mystic Java by keeping the menu the same, the recipes the same, same staff, but managing to raise the price of everything and taking away tips for your staff.

Unpleasant service and not friendly staff! While I had my jacket on a table and in a line to order, the staff moved my friend and me. They gave the table to a couple of ladies that arrived after us. However, when we were in the line to order, they seated them at our table and asked us to take our stuff. They tried to manage another table for us by asking a girl to move. She didn’t want to move. They just made everyone feel uncomfortable. The staff member was rude to the girl at the table, pushing her to get out of the cafe and giving her 10 minutes as a timeline to get out of the cafe. I used to have a coffee at least once a week in this cafe. But after what happened, I am never going to come back.

After reading one of the reviews on Facebook, I was infuriated with the comment pertaining to donating a portion of the earned tips to a local charity. I have never once seen a charity collection box or been informed that my tips allotted to the employees were instead going toward “said charities”. If I decide to donate my money to a charity, I will voluntarily do so. When I am tipping due to good service, my money should go directly to the employee who has exceeded great customer service. This just shows that the claim that they are donating to charity is false. This is a completely inappropriate statement to give to your customers, manipulating customers into thinking you are donating the money you are likely actually pocketing to local charities. Disgusting. I have also witnessed inappropriate workplace behavior demonstrated by the female owner, but that’s a different rant. Thank you Eron coffee house for showing me what business in Saskatoon not to support. Thoroughly not impressed. p.s. I would not be surprised if you guys do not reply to my review as you ignored the one on facebook. This just makes my claim more valid in that you guys are lying about the distribution of your tips. Maybe consider responding to negative reviews as well, not only the positive. That is what good customer service is about.

I went here for a business meeting. There was lots of seating. It seems like a relatively nice atmosphere. It appeared to have more than one entrance which was super cool. The menu selection seems large and they had fresh pastries there as well. Five stars would recommend this place.

If I could give this place more stars, I would. I will vouch for the deliciousness of every single thing you could order here, even if I haven't tried it. That's how confident I am that it will be good. The best part of this little coffee shop though? The staff. The owners are so friendly and they make sure that you're enjoying your time and drinks without hovering. They're the sweetest people and their friendly greetings when I come and go genuinely make me feel like I'm just visiting a friend for coffee.

I like it. More of a hipster Starbucks but still mainstream enough for non-hipsters like myself. The first or second time I went I got a Root Beer Milkshake. It was great. They may have taken it off the menu or they didn't have it for some reason last time I was there but still would recommend.

This was my first time at Eron. This is not a large coffee house but does have a number of group tables with seating arrangements. They have surprisingly large menu with what appears to be some quite tasty selections. I had coffee and a muffin which were both very good and had very friendly service. I'll be back.

The staff is friendly and patient and the drinks are delicious! They have a good variety of lunch items and desserts to pick from. I had the turkey and brie sandwich and it was really tasty! They also offer milk alternatives for only 50 cents more. There are a decent number of tables and a couple armchairs to relax and sip your beverage in or at!

Initially gave 5 stars. Last visit has killed their two stars. They had holiday event for their staff. Two people were working. Told us they only accept cash as debit machine is not working. Not friendly staff. Would not smile and stayed on cellphone during entire ordering process. Would not gave us receipt for cash payment. Ordered bagel with couple of London Fog. Drinks were cold. Bagel was thrown to us on a plate without chips. (We always order bagel from here, been there for almost 6 times).

The other night I finally tried the tuxedo cake at Eron’s which I’ve been eyeing up whenever I stop in for some of their tasty muffins and lovely iced mochas. The cake looked so interesting, and so my expectations were high. Luckily, they were well met! The cake has several layers, each of which is delicious on its own, and even better combined. Having a variety of chocolates layers makes the cake more interesting to eat. Fantastic cake. I also traded my partner for a bit of his mango berry cheesecake. It was so soft and flavourful, I would definitely like to have my own slice some time! Thanks to Eron’s for your friendly service and delicious treats. <3

I love this place. The 8th street location is my go-to spot. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and chill background music always playing. Couches, tables and comfy arm chairs make it a perfect homework spot, and they havr a couple big tables too for groups. Every thing I've tried here is delicious, hot drinks as well as the wraps and paninis. Daily specials are usually soup and panini = great deal. They have dairy-free options and a huge variety of teas to choose from, but want you really want to try here are the scones and desserts!! The Wifi can be a bit spotty sometimes, but it's the whole building block not just their cafe.

We use this coffee shop frequently for there consistency with Coffees and Lattes. They have a quite a large dine in area for food and friend gatherings. We like to come here to play Boardgames with friends, and the coffee house even has a shelf with store copies of some popular games. Our favorite thing in the menu to eat is the Bacon/Egg Bagel Sandwiches. They have a selection of flavoured bagels from Great Canadian Bagel and they are quite delicious. This coffee house is definitely a favourite of locals in the area

Nice place all the time. Great food and great taste. In response to some of those negative comments (1) Tables weren't straightened, lol - go take a seat on the toilet seat, it's never moved . Always straight. (2) If you want to eat healthy, eat at home. (3) I am glad this place has open kitchen in front of us to serve us compared to some big food chains who is hiding behind the door and who knows how sanitary the workers are. Hint: I know a friend who works in big food chain store.

Everything is homemade. Localy owned, real relaxed feel. Not too noisy. The pasitries are to die for. There is one large table, suitible for large groups (@ six to eight people).

It's a nice place and pretty popular among students and others alike. can get busy during university exam season, but a perfect spot for meeting friends or going for a date. food is tasty and they try to bring new tastes to the drink menu. there are board games for people who'd wanna sit and spend some time here. they could improve the appearance a little bit that is outside the main area. highly recommended

Anyone I have brought to Eron's has had such a wonderful time. The drinks I had tried at Mystic Java didn't really impress me. Under the new owner everything tastes better. Eron himself has always been in restraunt to great us, he even introduced himself. And everyone remembers that I like whipped cream and no tomatoes.

I have worked near this place for a while but up till last week have I had the opportunity to actually go in. I wish I could go back in time and kick myself for not going here sooner. They have a wonderfully calm atmosphere here, great for writers! The staff here are very friendly and professional. I have NEVER been disappointed by any of the meals I have had here. highly recommend the Turkey Bacon Brie on Sourdough, though I am a sucker for brie and sourdough! they also have a vast selection of coffee and teas. Really give this place a look if you have not, would also make a great date stop.

After having the reviews, it is not a matter of giving the customers a free Large Latte. It is the matter of honesty. I had the same experience, I ordered a large coffee and the female owner just gave me the medium size coffee. If she don’t know how to handle the till, then just let the staff to do so. I will not go to this shop anymore.

The staff was extremely rude. I came into the cafe around 5pm. Got a coffee and a bottle of water and started answering some of my work emails and get started on some e-learning work. At around 6:15pm, he cam around and asked me to leave by 7pm as my table had been booked. I wanted to order a muffin and a second coffee around that point, but felt terrible at being literally being dismissed from the place without even a warning. He simply put a "Reserved" symbol on my table at "That" time, at 6:15pm. I left before 7pm, but will NEVER return back to this ridiculous place with cold and unfriendly staff!!!!!! Would advice all my peers and friends the same.

The old Mystic Java had a much happier environment before the new owners came along. I felt so bad when I came into the new Eron Coffee House. The female owner overcharged me last time when I ordered the small size Latte, she charged me the large size instead and I found out that they are disrespectful to their staffs. Please remember your employees are precious and they are working really hard. Treat them with kindness and respect them. I do not recommend Eron Coffee House to anyone

Great lattes, muffins, and hot food. Staff has been helpful and personable each visit. Another reviewer mentioned a potentially stale baked item. After trying the lemon cranberry muffin I feel that's just the texture of the dough they use. Almost like a baked sourdough. It was great.

Eric, Moon and Booyoon and all the rest of the Eron team are always in a cheerful mood and make you feel important when you walk in. They always go out of their way to say hello and ask about your day, and remember your order after a couple visits :) This cafe is VERY busy and human errors occasionally happen, just like they do at Starbucks or any other coffee shop, and I think some of these reviews are written by some very miserable people who may have some biases against the staff. Customer satisfaction is #1 and I know for a fact that they will gladly remake a drink if its the wrong size, type, sweetness, etc. Sanitation is also critically important because of the high frequency of visitors. There is also plenty of seating options for everything from one person studying to groups of 6 or more wanting to have lunch together. ALSO, the food is fantastic!!! Try the Turkey-Bacon Brie!!

An excellent local coffee shop. Drinks are top rate, and the food menu, while not particularly extensive, is definitely fantastic - I don't think there's an option I've tried that's less than delicious. Can get a little loud at peak times, but is generally a good and relaxing environment to spend time in. Probably not a great option for family dining, but for a couple looking for a place for a casual date, a few friends wanting somewhere to catch up, or a handful of students who want coffee and collaboration time, it's a great choice.

I was a regular patron of Mystic Java and loved it because of the friendly staff and relaxing environment. While the coffee seems to have stayed the same, the environment has changed drastically with the new owners. While the staff used to seem happy and eager to be there, I’ve noticed a more unhappy work environment. I would rather give my business to a local shop that supports their staff and makes it an enjoyable place to work.
