Being from out of town I was looking for a good breakfast place while visiting my in laws over Christmas. Happened to drive by and chanced it. Very glad I did. Food was out fast, service was very good and coffee is always topped up. The servers make you feel like family and are always in a good mood. The ONLY complaint I have (and it's probably a one off) my bacon and beans boat was a little over seasoned with garlic. I didn't really care as I like garlic but someone else might have had an issue with it. If I lived in Sarnia this would be my Sunday breakfast spot. Try it. You won't be disappointed

Such an insanely small area and sends off plenty of odd vibes. Customer service from the younger ladies working was horrid. Little-to-no eye contact, one-worded responses and no welcoming smiles. The food was ... okay. A strange amount of wait for the food and we were the only two in the restaurant. The older ladies who work here are lovely and certainly knew their regular customers well. Lots of smiles and welcoming conversations on the older ladies’ behalf.

This is an ole country diner with ole country style. Home made breakfast with a twist. Bowl full of goodies or traditional bacon & eggs either way you won't leave hungry or digging deep into your pockets. Super friendly service and fast. I've had omelettes, eggs Benny, the fajita bowl, and the usual bacon and eggs. Not one meal disappoints. Guaranteed a great breakfast place.

Sometimes the eggs/ pancakes can be cool when they get to you but it is still a great experience and good breakfast. I always leave feeling very full because I eat it all up since its so good.

Had the Mexican boat. It was tasty and portion was good. The 9nly downside was, I ordered tomato juice and there were a few fruit flies about and one of them landed in my juice. They replaced the juice. Need to take care of fly issue.

This place was awful, let's start with the one plate coming out with old food on it. Then it's sent back and the food comes right back out instantly on a clean plate for my kid to enjoy? Did the magic cooking fairy wip up the pancakes instantly? Or did the waitress slide them on a cleaner plate? You decide! Next the pricing is absolutely ridiculous. 8 dollars for 4 small pancakes for a kids meal and two pieces of horrible thin bacon. That doesn't even include a drink. The drinks were 7 dollars for 3 cans of ice tea, do the math on the mark-up on that. So a breakfast meal for a family of five was 60 dollars. That's right 60 dollars for three kids and two adults. Plus tip if your not rude it's 70ish to eat bland food with one plate being filthy when it came out. Not worth it at all, will never enter this restaurant again. Disappointing.

My friend & I were visiting Port Huron, MI and decided to hop over the border to this diner for breakfast. So glad we did! I had a breakfast burger, and my friend LOVED the Reuben Eggs Benedict. His eggs were perfect and the corned beef was very tender. Our waitress was wonderfully personable as were the other staff that we encountered. Don’t skip Ole Country Diner!

Well. This place has changed drastically since the last time. About 8 months ago. The hollandaise sauce tastes like a mix. The homefries, very inconveniently placed on the side of a plate barely large enough to host the bowl the eggs benedict is served in, were double deep-fried and small. Looking very unappetizing. It's sad how restaurants become top rated, popular and start making money then cheap out and customers just keep going back. Thank goodness I don't live in this town anymore!

I visited this diner as a first time customer. I had picked this place based in their reviews. And I was expecting to have a great meal. I had no doubt that the food was going to be good. I witnessed the other customers once they came in that they were greeted with exceptional service. Sadly my experience was not as satisfying as the others. As I waited for approximately an hour while others came and gone the staff had not once approached or checked in on how everything went. I am disappointed with the service and I had high hopes to try the food. From my surroundings it had smelled good! You only get one shot at customer satisfaction and unfortunately it has been neglected.

The decor is a real 50's diner type vibe. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. We went for breakfast and the food was basic diner fare, and nothing special. If however, you like your breakfast smothered in hollandaise sauce this is the place for you and you would probably enjoy one of their breakfast boats.

If you are in sarnia there is only one place to eat. This is it. A truly amazing little dinner on London road. Home made food... what... yes home made food. Fresh cut fries...not many places do fresh cut fries. Usually its lazy frozen bag fries. She had the pulled pork I had the club. We were both impressed with the portion and quality. Burger we ordered was not as described in menu not even the bun was right. Had to wait almost an hour for are food because they forgot to put our order in. Also had pancakes ordered and was told by waitress that bacon was included and when we got the bill there was a extra charge for bacon and toast which we didn't receive either.

Server was great, but food wasn't. Crowded seating with country-style pews for benches. Tables are very close making it hard to get in since the bench has a side wing you have to maneuver past. Can't understand why the place is crowded. I had a veggie "boat" which is basically a variation on poutine. I like garlic, but really prefer it be cooked in my food, not added raw as an afterthought.

The staff is beyond helpful and would like to extend gratitude to our server Kyle who was tentative and friendly for ensuring our visit was top tier. This is an ole country diner with ole country style. Home made breakfast with a twist. Bowl full of goodies or traditional bacon & eggs either way you won't leave hungry or digging deep into your pockets. Super friendly service and fast. I've had omelettes, eggs Benny, the fajita bowl, and the usual bacon and eggs. Not one meal disappoints. Guaranteed a great breakfast place.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but that unremarkable facade hides a treasure trove of excellently prepared and presented dishes. The steak and eggs was cooked the way I requested in record time. The eggs Benedict my friend ordered were perfect in every way. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The coffee was some of the best I have tasted. We plan to return and try more of the menu items.
