Sooooooooo Much Better than the place a few doors down (named after a hockey player). The best donuts around, made the old fashioned way AND FRESH!! Great coffee, tea and iced coffee. Service is efficient and friendly. Great cream Puffs! Butter tarts too! Cannot pass by without having to stop in and pick up 1/2 dozen to enjoy at home. Has been around for a long time......and that is because they are greatest!

Global has been my go-to for good old fashioned donuts as I try really hard to not go to Tim's anymore. Global's donuts are big and substantially better quality. However, the prices have become just NUTS. I paid $23.50 for a dozen donuts on my last visit. And the service hasn't been exactly super friendly the last few times either. Unfortunately no longer worth the drive from London.

I Never Was

We had the pleasure of swinging by the drive-thru of Global, which came with some expectations given its local ratings. One would think the outdated menu boards, intercom system, serving window and general facade would take away from the experience but it was the opposite. The old school donut shop branding, light roast coffee and deliciously-moist donuts we're all working in unison. The Chocolate Coconut donut had a wonderful toasted coconut crust and the Cherry Blossom is one of their bestsellers (and we know why). We were greeted by a friendly South Asian server at the window who wished us a happy religious holiday as well, something that made our day! If you're looking for a cheerful morning breakfast or post-meal finisher, give in to the reviews at this place and pay a visit - it's worth it.

Awesome fresh and inventive donuts. I love the Persian(Cherry icing I think on a cinnamon roll/danish), OMG! Super coffee, a richer blend than the competition. Great other baked goods and tarts too. The peanut butter square is my favourite. Made several trips across town during my 2 week visit. Definitely worth it.

This place is nothing special. The donuts are good, but so are the donuts at other places for cheaper. The variety of donuts is not very wide. They offer bagels and other alternatives to donuts. It has a nice dining area to sit and chat.

I ordered a delicious Boston Cream Donut, "gigantic" size, for Father's Day and it was a big hit at our house. If you want to do something different from the usual chocolate cake then I highly recommend an xxl donut "cake" to celebrate any event. Do you remember the last time coffee made you happy? Like, that perfectly brewed, soothing, warm way to wake up? Come to Global. And not just for the coffee. The breakfast sandwiches will actually make your day...they are perfect. When food tastes really good, it's more satisfying, which in turn leads to keeping you happier, longer. It's science. A normal work day for me is a breakfast sandwich and coffee, which lasts until about 1030 or so, and I need a snack. A warm, crispy but not crunchy bagel with bacon and egg from Global keeps me going until noon, when I unwrap the sandwich that they made for me as well. Corned beef, bakery fresh bread, all the fixings. I don't think I've been happier at work than when I've been to Global to start my day. Or maybe it's just the warm friendly service. There simply aren't coffee shops like this any more, well, not enough of them anyway. I haven't even mentioned the donuts by the way! Are you still reading this?! Get to Global, now! The donuts may actually be the best part...I haven't tried enough of them to conclusively say though. So yes, 6 stars if I could give 6 stars, but for now, 5 will do. Thank you to the staff at Global for making ny day great, honest!

Quite a gem here. Nice inside and out. Delicious donuts and date squares and decent coffee. Way better than any chain. It is more money than Tim's, but the products are much much better. Service was great. Restaurant was clean. Nice picnic tables outside. Even has a drive through. Not sure why anyone in Sarnia would go elsewhere.

I just want to say that the people in here are absolutely amazing. Very kind and personal, they make it feel so relaxed. Their giant apple fritters are to die for. I'm not a coffee drinker but I've heard that their coffee is amazing and I can say first hand that their tea is just as awesome. It's sad to see that other places don't treat their customers with kind of respect as they do here. It's constantly packed with people and is even a popular truck stop location. I wish there was a higher rating then 5 stars because they deserve so much more. Thank you.

My Friday delivery runs took me to Sarnia as I stumbled upon this gem. The coffee is SPOT ON donut shop java that easily gives Tims or McDonald's a run for their money. The place looks dated when you first see it but as soon as you walk in, that old coffee shop smell with fresh donuts hits your nostrils and I mean fresh! The achy breaky is the best one they have. I would usually stop in at around 10am and pick up a few for my girls and they were still fresh by the time I got home late at night. Highly reccomend Global!

Global donuts is a good old fashioned coffee shop. Donuts are actually made fresh on site everyday!!! Other baked goods, soups, and sandwiches made from fresh, quality ingredients make this a nice little spot to grab a bite to eat. They have special "poonchki" donuts that are super popular. Very clean and the staff is friendly. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of parking for cars and transport trucks.

As a new customer of Global Donuts a few weeks ago I waited to see if this was too good to be true. My initial impression was that they had great donuts, very cheerful staff, incredible sandwiches and great coffee at great prices. Then I discovered the “Mega Fritter”, OMG this thing is huge and so fresh! I’d say it’s 3 times the size of a Tim’s fritter and fresher tasting...I digress. So here we are a few weeks later and I’m as impressed today as I was in the beginning; maybe more so. I’ve tried several of the sandwiches now and love LOVE the freshness, consistency and generous toppings to make them either a shareable snack or a hunger buster with a side of dill pickles and chips. Thank you for the great service I’ve experienced and the amazing food. I can’t wait until we are out of quarantine so I get to try the hot foods I’ve been hearing about! I would describe Global Donuts as a stable part of The Sarnia community. Gus and his staff all have hearts of gold. Not only do they genuinely care about their customers they care about the community and give back. They put on weekly draws on FB and do Paczi for Shrove Tuesday and the first of every month. Donuts are better than Tim Hortons. Tim's lately seem to be not fully cooked opposed to Globals. My favourite is the Walnut Cluster regular, not chocolate. They also have great sandwiches as well as other treats. Also on the first Tuesday of each month they make Pounchkis which are only a Fat Tuesday special. As I recall there is 6 flavours of internal filling.

Great first visit had to do drive thru from pandemic and the drive thru woman was really nice and patient and answered the questions we had about there food knew her pricing and products. When arriving to the drive thru window she was kind and gave our dog couple treats and gave her 1 herself and our dog rollo took it gently from her and she apologized for waiting few mins and verified what kind my sandwich bread was to make sure our order was correct. Very pleased was delicious and worth the visit and time definitely be going again thank you and great job

It was a chaotic day. Stopped for coffee and donuts. It was chaotic there too. The girl was so friendly to us. We laughed about all the mix ups. We even got a note written on our donut box! Definitely go back! Great donuts and coffee !!!

The employees here work very hard. It seems that they work twice as hard as anyone at Tim Hortons and three times as fast. What takes 5 people at Tim's to do, one can do here. The 2 women that work drive thru on Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri are the best.

This is the place tim hortons wishes it was, their coffee is smooth and doughnuts are great, classic coffee shop where everything is real and taste great to boot. I especially like that they have tractor trailer parking and a drive thru window as well. Their soups and sandwiches use top quality ingredients as well, its very nice to see a place like this when everyone else seems to let quality slide for a profit. My only complaint is that I alway seem to go there on days they don't serve poonchkis. Oh well, maybe some day.

Awesome donuts, no chain can touch them. The poonckis are a town favourite, and they sell out every year early. Coffee is better then any hockey players, and a slab of cream cheese or cheddar on your bagel is heaven. Just go to there.
