This place has incredible milkshakes! I love em, but the last time we got milkshakes there we got a birthday cake milkshake and it was more sprinkles than milkshake, for real every sip was 90 percent sprinkles... I think the lid fell off the sprinkles while they were making it or something and they just didn't remake it, it was not great... Other than that I have no complaints!

This place is awesome. I have been here twice and will keep coming back. The rolled ice cream is so fun and super delicious and packed full of flavour. I tried Red Velvet and Ferrero Rocher and both were amazing.The prices are extremely resonable for what you get and the staff were really nice both times I came here. They have a little area in the store with stuff on display for sale from some local small businesses which I love. I highly recommend.

Great service. Friendly staff. Overall a great experience. I went here twice. The first time I went here they said they didn't have any warn bubble tea. In fact they looked surprised I asked. But the lady working told me if I wanted to wait they would boil some hot water to make the bubble tea. But I didn't want to inconvenience them so the first time i did not get a warm tea. Today however, I called ahead of time to ask if they would be able to make the warm water for the bubble tea. In my opinion, it was perfect. Warm/hot Bubble tea is more flavorful than cold bubble tea, especially in the winter. I would recommend it if you try it next time!

Was very disappointed by what Sub Zero served me. Their bubble teas are not bubble teas and I should have just left it there. If they are trying to pass off drinks that are not properly made, then I will not be returning. It is unfortunately because St. Thomas could use a little more diversity.

Walked in to support a local boy who's family is in a tough spot. The charity is called Alden's Army. It's for an awesome cause. So, went in and grabbed a Mint Chip milkshake... absolutely amazing. Perfect for lack of better word. The appearance alone was worth the price. Thickness of the shake was excellent. They give you a large straw. So it makes drinking it easy. The service was prompt and pleasant. The two young men behind the counter were friendly and cordial. Overall a completely excellent experience. So, if your in the neighborhood, and are feeling generous. Get to Sub Zero on Talbot Street in St. Thomas. It's worth it for two reasons!!!!❤❤❤

This is purely a suggestion! You guy should consider making some of the bubble teas into the thicker "slush" version! Taro bubble tea always taste so much better with the thicker consistency! :)

Came from etobicoke for this. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. The staff were so so so friendly & the rolled ice cream was THE BEST IVE HAD!! Got the ferrero rocher & I wish I got a large or a take home pack. Definitely recommended 100% & will make the 2 hour drive back.

I haven't had Bubble Tea since I lived in Toronto almost twenty years ago. The flavored pearls were new to me - a nice taste explosion in the mouth! Lots of flavours to choose from. They also have rolled ice cream which we'll be trying as soon as the weather warms up again. The service was also fast and friendly. We'll definitely be returning!

Got 2 bubble teas, chai is super yummy.. banana tastes like banana medicine which wasn't amazing (as an adult who hates being sick) but it was pretty good! The soft serve is alright! The rolled ice cream is good *let it melt a little bit! makes it taste 10000% better, i dont know why though!! Super different but definitely worth the try!

They come to our neighbourhood with their ice cream truck occasionally, and everyone scrambles to get in line for ice-cream. Our grandkids LOVE it! We got a chance to try Sub Zero out after their truck came through our subdivision, and the peanut butter chocolate is among the best I've ever had - equally impressive was how friendly and upbeat the staff were after what I'm sure was a VERY busy day! Their tarot bubble tea tastes a bit off to me from what i'm use to, also wish they had slushy versions, but it's still a great place to get ice cream and other goodies! Looking forward to trying some other bubble teas they carry in the future in hopes of finding one I like. They now also carry Shaws!

I had the coconut bubble tea. It was just ok. I've had much better almost everywhere else that I've been. But considering its the only bubble tea place in St Thomas I'll probably go back. It wasn't very cold either, their juice base is kept on the counter at room temperature.

Lots of flavors. I like the bubble tea. The shakes where nice too. I am not a fan of the rolled ice cream. It is fun and looks cool but I think it taste freezer burnt. I tried 2 flavors. This is my personal opinion, and I encourage you to try for yourself. Service is great and I am happy that I can get bubble tea in St. Thomas.

I wanted to support any bubble tea places opening up but honestly... Just go to London for your bubble tea. You're paying insane prices for low quality bubble tea and I've always had something wrong with my order. Wrong drinks, missing items, adding ice to orders specifically requesting none. I've never once felt like I've gotten what I paid for.

The ice cream is good, the staff are friendly. The bubble tea game is weak, all made from powder. If you are expecting quality akin to Chatime, Coco, The Alley, etc. you'll be disappointed.

The people at Sub Zero are very friendly and were happy to help my vegan family find items that suit our diet. We were able to get vegan rolled ice cream and watermelon bubble tea. Not all of the bubble tea is vegan, only the watermelon and sour green apple flavours are. We are pleased with our visit to Sub Zero and will come again! Edit: Sub Zero no longer has vegan ice cream.

Not only is subzero finding a unique way to present ice cream for everyone to enjoy but I recently discovered they have steamed chilli dogs! Say whaaaaaat? Every single scrumptious carbohydrate endured was worth it! Followed by a pina colada milk shake. And a pup cup for my fur baby... ???? Subzero is what dreams are made of! A solid 12/10 in my opinion!

Finally, bbt in St. Thomas! My husband and I always got it in London but every time I'm in town they're not open yet. So I was stoked when I heard about Sub Zero! Before moving to London I lived in Richmond Hill and got bbt in Markham, so I've had a fair share of bbt... sorry to say, Sub Zero was sub par (cue drumroll). I would give the actual bbt 2 or 3 stars but the service (lady on the phone) was friendly and helpful for my first order without seeing a full menu and the (tapioca) bubbles were great. There's some complaints about not enough bubbles, ours had a fair amount but I hope it stays consistent. We will still go back to try them again and other flavors, I'm sure. I just hope with time they'll improve their bbts. There's only one size and I don't mind the limited flavors, at least it's a range of flavors. I got my husband a vanilla mocha? And I got a taro, the true test of a good bbt lol they were not powdery but just lacking flavor. Though that said, the tapioca was GOOD. Soft, chewy, so fresh! So close >_<;;

Ice cream is hand made right in front of you (not freezer burned) and is absolutely amazing. Tons of amazing flavors and staff are wonderful. The milkshakes are also to die for! 10/10 it is our go to place for ice cream and milk shakes!!! Have not tried the other things yet as I am to set on the ice cream and milk shakes!

I was excited to finally be able to get bubble tea in St Thomas. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. There were not many “bubbles” added, a small plastic spoon was used to scoop the toppings. The picture of bubble tea on their website shows a large amount of tapioca in the cup, I received maybe 1/3 of what is pictured. A powder flavouring was added to the tea, not the usual liquid flavouring making the mango tea a milky orange colour. The tea is more like a regular iced tea with a sugar powder flavouring, with a small amount of bubbles. Their ice cream may be delicious, their bubble tea is not. Definitely not worth it for $5.95. I will stick with the bubble tea in London.

WORST ice cream I've ever had. It tasted like freezer burnt whipped cream. If I could give zero stars, I would. I don't know anyone who has had a good experience here. Shocked how anybody could find this stuff tasty. Unfortunately, customer service was awful as well and nobody seemed to know anything about the products. Poor presentation, no flavor. Would not recommend. Go to Dairy Queen or Shaws for the good stuff!
