Las Chicas coffee is my favourite coffee and the best coffee in the area. It's locally owned and they operated in London, ON before moving to their facility in St Thomas. The owners, Maria and Valeria, are personally connected to the growers in Nicaragua and so there's an assurance of high-quality beans and well as ethical and fair treatment of everyone in the process. Las Chicas coffee is sold in local stores, from the roastery in St Thomas, and online. All their coffees are fantastic and the roasts are on the lighter side which fits the bright and lively flavour of high-grown Nicaragua beans. My personal favourite is the Yellow Catuai coffee, with the Viennese roast and all their coffee is worth trying.

Love the amazing great tasting coffee! This business is a Labour of Love, and you can tell when you walk into the front door. The coffee is just amazing and considering the work that goes into it from the grower to the finished product (and the yearly issues getting the raw beans across the border) I am amazed at the low price the "Chicas" are able to sell it for.

The Maracatu is awful. Tried the Maracatu after the wonderful Don Rey's Private reserve city roast and was very disappointed. It took twice as long to grind the Maracatu as the beans were very dry and hard. The taste was very stale as well. Not sure this coffee (Maracatu) will do this company's reputation any good.

I ordered some coffee online for a birthday present. To my surprise an employee reached out to me asking what day I wanted the coffee delivered. During the conversation I was told that the coffee is roasted on a daily basis and would be the freshest coffee. Unfortunately due to unforeseen issues I was unable to get the coffee when I needed/wanted it. I was issued a refund and told where I could buy the coffee in a store that was only minutes away from me. I was able to find the coffee and it was delicious!
